My Dad passed away in 2020 and I've come to visit his site, leave flowers, talk with him or just sit there. When I have called the office being that there are wasps, they are very prompt to send the grounds men to take care of the situation. The mausoleum is always clean. The sinks for getting water for your flowers as well. There is always the flower holder arms? Available to use. It does have a funny smell but that's pretty normal I would think. I have sat in the mausoleum for a bit when there are families visiting near my Dad to give them privacy. Thankful for Bellevue being local and able to stop and visit my Papa when I can. One thing I would advise, if visiting with fresh flowers, invest in some plant clippers, as you may need to trim the stems of the flowers and roses.

Everyone I interacted with was kind and professional. They were prepared when I came in to discuss the services my mother had pre-arranged 23 years ago. This did make it easier and I was impressed at how quickly they were able to produce a copy of her plan. There were many additional options I could have chosen but I never felt pressured to buy anything additional. There were some things I needed to pay for, but the cost was reasonable to me. The day of the service we were assigned two people to help facilitate. They were both professional and most importantly, helpful. The main chapel room was beautiful. My mother's casket was placed at the center and a tiered table was set up to the right for items we had brought to display. Three large screen TVs displayed the picture we used for her obituary. I was impressed with the whole set up particularly because it was not something I had even considered in my grief. Lastly, the assistance they provided in writing her obituary was such a relief. They took information I provided and sent me a well written draft. It needed very little editing and was quickly ready and posted to their website. My husband and I will be returning to make our own prearrangements within this next year. Thank you, Draper Mortuary, for making this difficult task a pleasant and swift experience.

Yes, people make mistakes. But when a mistake has a cost, the person responsible should absorb it,…read morenot pass it back to the family who's already burying someone. I paid Norco Family Funeral Home to order 4 death certificates, expecting them ready by the funeral date. When I needed one sooner, I bought a copy directly from Riverside County for $26 and found errors on it, which made it unusable. I caught this before the funeral home placed their own order, which saved them $104 in re-order fees. I did their quality control for free, in the middle of planning my father's funeral. No apology or thanks from them, but whatever. I move on. The funeral came and went. No certificates. "Check back next week." When I called the following week, I was offered two options: drive back to pick the certificates up myself, or have them mailed with no guarantee -- they were "not responsible" if anything happened. I believe I was speaking with the owner, Jon, who repeated that phrase like a liability shield rather than an answer. I asked for certified mail since I couldn't make the drive again, and he quoted me another $50 for it. No apology. No offer to reimburse the $26 I'd spent on an unusable certificate. No acknowledgment that I'd saved his business over $100. Just "people make mistakes," and arguments every time I brought up those facts. The service itself went smoothly, which is the only reason this isn't one star (although they forgot to play the music I had sent). But Jon's attitude and refusal to right his wrong truly shocked me. Norco Family Funeral had every chance to make this right, and chose not to. That tells you everything you need to know.
