I confirmed our appointment Friday but called and Gave me a personal reminder about my appointment. I was with my mother in law who has Alzheimer's who fell at her caregiving facility and was at the Hospital picking her up. They were not able to see me until January 29th leaving with a hole in my front tooth. They then changed the appointment to February 2nd. I voiced m opinion in a letter written to the dentist. He then called me on February 2nd refusing to fix the bridge. I also asked repeatedly in emails to send me my records and the name of the dentist that would work on my bridge. They sent a document that was encrypted and I could not open. They refused to send me my payments that I have made. They also refused to send me the information where the original dentist is practicing. Within the past year alone, this denture has broken three separate times. This is unacceptable for work of this cost and nature. While I understand that the dentist who originally completed the work no longer practices there and that the office has changed ownership, Salem Family and Cosmetic Dentistry purchased this practice and assumed responsibility for its patients and prior dental work. I have also been told that you will not repair the denture unless I pay upfront, allegedly due to my "attitude." I am upset because I have every right to be given that I have had to deal with three failures of a very expensive denture in less than a year. My frustration comes from feeling ignored, dismissed, and treated unfairly.

Dr. Duffy & his staff completely understand this and have always scheduled me for extra time so I can take "breaks" during routine care or any type of other care. In January I had my routine dental cleaning & check-up and let Dr. Duffy know I had a "lump" on the roof of my mouth. After he looked at it he said I needed to have a biopsy done & he immediately referred me to an Oral Surgeon & got me an appointment with them that day! Long story short, I had a tumor in the roof of my mouth but thankfully it was diagnosed in time & after having another surgery the pathology came back clean on all margins. I am beyond thankful that Dr. Duffy was so proactive, knowledgeable and realized the potential seriousness of the situation. Dr. Duffy and his staff are kind, understanding, thorough & absolutely wonderful! I highly recommend them!! They are very professional, understanding, patient and sincere and the absolute best!!!

They were hacked and were unable to even make phone calls telling patients that they were unable to provide service due to the hack. I arrived for my appointment, and was told that due to the hack, they could not provide treatment. I protested, saying that I had not recieved a phone call saying my appointment had been cancelled. As a result, I had to take more time off from work. Then to ad insult to injury, after more than two years, I recieved a letter from a collection agency saying that I owed ASPEN DENTAL $232.00. I had never recieved a bill for this. They just gave it to a collection agency. I pay my bills in full! Now my credit score will take a hit due to their ineptitude.
