I confirmed our appointment Friday but called and Gave me a personal reminder about my appointment. I was with my mother in law who has Alzheimer's who fell at her caregiving facility and was at the Hospital picking her up. That is unacceptable to call me on a SUNDAY for an appointment I confirmed on Friday. A personal reminder on a Sunday ? They called me and my wife Monday morning and I was sleeping in. They were not able to see me until January 29th leaving with a hole in my front tooth. They then changed the appointment to February 2nd. I voiced m opinion in a letter written to the dentist. He then called me on February 2nd refusing to fix the bridge. I also asked repeatedly in emails to send me my records and the name of the dentist that would work on my bridge. They sent a document that was encrypted and I could not open. They refused to send me my payments that I have made. They also refused to send me the information where the original dentist is practicing. Within the past year alone, this denture has broken three separate times. This is unacceptable for work of this cost and nature. While I understand that the dentist who originally completed the work no longer practices there and that the office has changed ownership, Salem Family and Cosmetic Dentistry purchased this practice and assumed responsibility for its patients and prior dental work. I have also been told that you will not repair the denture unless I pay upfront, allegedly due to my "attitude." I am upset because I have every right to be given that I have had to deal with three failures of a very expensive denture in less than a year. My frustration comes from feeling ignored, dismissed, and treated unfairly.

He also told me my molar was cracked, he drilled my filling so deep that I had to get a root canal (I went to an endodontist for that), recommended that I get 2 teeth pulled and that I needed a mouth guard. I went to a new awesome dentist that said my molar was not cracked, I did not need teeth extracted and I did not need a mouth guard. My teeth did not hurt until this dentist worked on my mouth. I opted to see a non military dentist because my experience has never been great while in the Air Force. When I was seen I asked them to complete a form DD form 2813. A standard military form to get you out of seeing the military dentist. They told me it would be no problem and they would send it. Today I called them and informed them that it was never sent. They said it was never mentioned and said they will look into helping do something they said they would do. They said they would redo it and told me it would be available when I got their this afternoon. I came in this afternoon only to be told they have the form and in order for it to be filled out I need to be seen again because the dentist who saw me is no longer there. They didn't bother to tell me that on the phone. Instead they wait for me to show up and waste my time to tell me they can't do what was asked of them when I went in for my appointment in September. They had the nerve to try and get me to schedule an appointment, It was very condescend because if they can't be trusted to do what they said why would I see them again. Front office team is not helpful with problems Staff is constantly turning over. From the moment you walk in the practices and treatment each person needs feels like an effort to shake your pockets out.
