I have been disenchanted with Oak Street for a few years now, but it's nearly impossible to find another PCP. I made an appointment for today at 8 a.m. because that was the first appt. of the day, figuring I would get right in. I arrived at 7:45 and found the door locked. Someone opened it 10 minutes later saying that they don't open until 8 a.m.! Rude! They set the appt. schedules not us. My biggest complaint is that they want you to arrive early, but I have never, repeat never, been seen on time. Usually they are 15 - 20 minutes late. It was that way today - and, for the first appt. of the day. They do not respect your time but they expect you to respect theirs. They are the worst place ever because they only care about giving people medicine not helping anyone out with real problems and they keep you waiting for a ride him to there. When they first started out they were really good until they combined themselves with CVS Pharmacy not they don't seem to care about their patients anymore now. I would recommend finding yourself a real good doctor please stay away from Oakstreet Health because they gave me diarrhea there now. read more

Can't schedule an annual checkup with my established Dr. there. The call center (no, you can't call the Warwick office directly) keeps saying she is booked out 30 days and won't schedule past that... Extremely frustrating and feels like I have no Dr at all. read more

if I could post less than 1 I would. I started with Oak St in2023 however when my PA went on maternity leave service suffered. I had to follow up on a script for a CPAP machine several times an d I ultimately left to try a new PCP but that's another story. I called and scheduled a new appointment with another PA for yesterday but they called me about 1hour before my appt to say the PA is not taking new patient. after a discussion with an office patient advocate she scheduled me back for today @ 8:40 am with my original PA. today I am told I am not on the schedule but they needed to check this out. I expressed my frustration that I would be pissed if not seen today and the front desk receptionist yelled I was "threatening" them. they kept telling my husband to shut up and then they threw us out. After months of attempting to make an appt & being told "we don't have your Dr's calendar" I finally found out my Dr retired! No notice, no letter - just excuses. Then I was told the other Dr at the practice wasn't taking new patients - I'd been going there for over a yr! When you call to get refills for medications, its like an act of Congress. I called & asked for the Practice Mgr by name & was told there is nobody by that name in their directory. Any emails to her get returned. Finally decided to stop in while in the area & the person I asked for was there & able to meet with me. Told me her email was correct & didn't know why it gets returned. Now I've moved on to another Dr & its taken 3 months to get my records transferred to the new Dr! This place is nothing more than a franchised, money grabbing sham. Save yourself hours of aggravation & find a REAL Dr who sincerely cares & will do their job. This place is a joke! read more

I give this place minus 10 stars. The medical assistant spent the entire time of our interaction complaining about HER hot flashes. Then she went on to how the computer didn't work. Maybe some of the older folks who get there care at Oak St want to chat about the medical assistant's issues but I do not. My experience was a minus 10. read more

I love this doctor's office. I learned about it through Blue Cross and it is for adults with Medicare. I haven't been there often fortunately but I have had virtual visits that were wonderful. I feel like people there care about me and my health. I called yesterday at about noon because I had a concern and I was seen at 2 o'clock. You don't get much better service than that. I am now attending the Broad Street location. Dr Behtash is the best physician I have ever been to. Staff is outstanding. Goes xtra yard for the patients. This place is an absolute NIGHTMARE!! I have been a patient there for the past year and received good care. Well, it seems that two of their four medical personnel have left for other positions, the third is out on long-term sick leave and there is only one medical professional left!! They say they are unable to hire anyone for these empty positions because "nobody wants to work in Rhode Island when they can work in Massachusetts!" I have had a regular physical exam appointment cancelled and rescheduled five times in the past seven months! Yesterday I arrived for my current appointment, only to find that it had been cancelled but I had not received a call informing me of the cancellation!! It seems like they still have only one doctor on board! This place is a nightmare! If you value your sanity.....DON'T GO THERE!! read more

They are absolutely the worst medical treatment facility I've ever encountered...You call a call center in North Carolina or Chicago....not a local office. Needed paperwork sent over for a referral..they stated completed it and it never got to the physicians office.....Stay away from this place....they have no clue on what they are doing. read more

The idea is a good one - focus on senior citizens - more quality time spent on each patient. The reality, at least in Warwick, is not good at all. Made an appointment for 8:00 AM. Showed up and was told that the appointment was cancelled. No one called to tell me it was cancelled. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and made another appointment. This time played it smart and called before going. And was told that this appointment was cancelled as well. Again, no one called. Not returning. read more

oak street health ri should be under investigation due to the lack of medical care. i have been a patient for about a little over a year now. since day one, it's been an extremely stressful relationship between getting hold of my primary care physician. the problem lies that oak street health claims it's a primary care group but it's a walk in clinic. they will only allow you to schedule an appointment 7 days out. you may not schedule an appointment a follow up appointment with primary care 1 month or 2 months or 3months out???? the problem is everyone keeps you in the dark, they say "we'll call you back to schedule an appointment" but never do. until they are ready to make their schedule for week that works for them, not the patient. something is wrong there and they should be investigated. simple becasue they are leaving us the pateints in disstress of having to keep calling and calling for an appointment, we have enough stresses dealing with medical issues and no primary to help you in a timely manner. should they want to only schedule 7 days out, they should explain this to you in a disclaimer instead of being in the dark with their shady way of doing business. read more

There do not appear to be any MDs on staff in Warwick, RI. When you call the phone, it is answered in IL. Of the 4 times I have called in with questions, only once was there a response, and I had to wait 2 weeks for it. They opened an online Medicare portal in my name without my permission. My PCP didn't bother to read the hospital records from my 6 day stay, 3 in ICU. After an appointment, I received a bill and found out that my PCP didn't accept Blue Cross, after Oak St told me that they did. It is hard to imagine how a practice could be worse, but I expect if I stayed with Oak St they would find a way. I'll never know, as I will not go back to this substandard practice ever.
