Worst pizza I've ever had states it's a 12 inch pizza we actually measured it was 9 1/4 inches. It was cold rubbery disgusting and very expensive to be thrown away in an unmarked box. Amazing! Catered my wedding, the food was delicious and the workers were friendly. The guests loved everything about it!

It was such a let down working with Oakwood Fire Pizza for our wedding. They put zero effort into making our catering experience special and no thought into making their setup presentable. The pizza was not cooked all the way through and could not even be picked up without falling apart because the dough was still raw. Our friends and family ended up throwing away their food because they were afraid of getting sick. It was such a waste of money. Would not recommend working with them. read more

Although it does take a little longer for each guest to be served than a traditional buffet style setup it was definitely unique and everyone seemed to enjoy it. I am very disappointed with oak wood-fire pizza. The whole experience could have been better since we paid $2500 for a small group of people. Customer service was not great except for Tyler who made me feel like I was important but there was a lot of miscommunication between the team. Everything that I asked them to do was wrong. They had no effort on setting things the way I had previously asked. The utensils were wrapped in plastic wrapper instead of a white napkin as I was previously told. Also they brought the truck instead of the small trailer which worked out but I was shocked and confused because I was told it would be a small trailer. I would have appreciated a warning. Also, I told them to set up the appetizers by the bar and they were not placed there. The container I asked them to place the salad in was on the table empty bcuz they did not do as I said. I asked them to save my appetizers while we were taking pictures and when we got back everything was about gone. They rushed for everyone to eat and let everyone eat first instead of waiting for the bride and groom. They did not follow instructions. On a very important day where everything was so stressful I thought paying for catering would have been a good idea but even they managed to get things wrong. The cannolis were not placed in a tower as I asked and when the chef Tim asked if he should place them out at 4:30 (earlier than planned) I said no and five minutes later he brings them out in a plastic container laid in nothing that looked like a tower. Their portions were very weak, a 75 person charcuterie looked like it could only feed 15 people. And I paid for 35 Of the apple bruschetta, I counted 25 only. And much less for the tomato bruschetta. The truck left close to 5pm not 5:30 as planned. It was not worth the money. They did not have customer service to make your day special I would not recommend them. I am not giving them a one star because the food did taste good. read more

This pizza was AMAZING!!! I'm usually not a huge thin crust fan but these guys changed me!!! Their oven on wheels came to my apartment complex tonight and they made the pizza right there in front of us and a quick 3 mins in the oven and it was the best, most fresh pizza I've ever had!!! Got to experience this pizza at a wedding back in late 2018. Who doesn't like a wood fired pizza? Not only is the pizza great, but being able to watch the chefs at work creating these masterpieces is half the fun! If you're able to experience this yummy, yummy pizza; I highly encourage you to have this at your next gathering. I was at a wedding when I first had Oak-Wood Fire pizza and it was absolutely delicious. Woodfired pizza with a travel oven wherever you need it. The Margherita pizza was just perfect. The right amount of sauce, homemade cheese and crispy crust done to perfection in the very high heat of the "little oven that could!!" I'm looking forward to using them myself soon. We used Oakwood as our caterer for a wedding. 3 different pizzas and a salad at a phenomenal price. Even more phenomenal, the food. All of the guests complimented both the salad and the pizza. The staff brought the food in and served it buffet style to our guests. The staff were friendly and quick in keeping the pizza coming inside to be served. We highly recommend Oakwood for your event. The food was delicious, first and foremost. The communication between food truck and event was a little lackluster. We ran out of pizzas, I think, I'm not sure, I wasn't told we were at our max. I think some people were ordering more than 1 pizza for our wedding, although they weren't told they could only order 1 pizza. But I found out in the end that some people didn't even receive a pizza. So that was super disappointing. The truck ended up leaving, I wasn't even aware or told they were all done, they just left and I watched them drive away. The tiramisu was great! But they didn't leave plates or utensils like they said they were going to, but we managed. In the end, I think your guests will be happy, but as the person holding the event I wanted a little more from someone I was paying to cater. read more
