Chris at the Disney Springs, Orlando, FL, location provided me with exceptional service. The night before, I had lost my sunglasses, but he looked up my last purchase and miraculously, found the last pair they had in the back, as it's a style they no longer carry. He turned my heartbreak into joy! I can not even begin to tell you how lucky I felt that morning!

He went in the back a few times to look for different colors and helped with minor adjustments too. I had trouble with some of their wide width glasses still being a bit too tight and he found some that were extra wide, and those fit a lot better. Usually I'm fine, but none of their frames had those springs that make the arms(legs?) go outwards. I had glasses like this before and they squeezed my head and gave me a headache. I understand they can be adjusted but past history wants me only wanting those glassed with springs. The price wasn't too bad with the frames and progressive lenses. I planned on going back if I didn't find something elsewhere, but I got lucky at another place. I already had a prescription, so I was just looking for frames and lenses and can't comment on the eye inspection (is that what it's called?)

I recently attended an event at the Millenia Mall location of Jimmy Choo. The occasion was held to…read morepromote both Jimmy Choo's Spring 2023 Collection and Winter Park Fashion Week. A portion of the sales proceeds benefited the non-profit organization Touched by Type 1 which raises funds to find a cure and inspire those with diabetes to thrive. Besides perusing the London-based fashion house's newest shoes, handbags, accessories and fragrances, I had the opportunity to meet Sarah G, who hosted the event at Jimmy Choo and whose company is organizing Winter Park Fashion Week. I also have to give kudos to a Jimmy Choo employee, Corinne C., who was friendly and accommodating in answering my questions and assisting during my time at their location. I truly enjoyed my time meeting Jimmy Choo staff members along with the models, make-up artists and others who will be attending the many trunk shows and designer promotions prior to the big runway event on Saturday, February 25, 2023. I took a pair of shoes to the store to be sent off for repair. I entered (as the store was empty but it was early) and was NOT GREETED. I spoke and explained why o was there and what I needed done. Once viewing my shows (valued at 2200.00) I was treated slightly better. I was told that I would be called and NEVER RECEIVED any communication about my shoes. When I decided to personally check 1 MONTH later, I entered the store yet again NOT GREETED. I Stated why I was there and I was spoken to as if I could never have shoes there. After retrieving my shoes I was offered water for the mistake. WATER GIRL BYE!!! Just know they will NEVER get my money. Staff are very friendly and keep the store organized and clean. Pricing varies in this store. Most of the shoes that interested me were very expensive. Two pairs of Slip-in's that I was drawn to, were running $109 and $95. Most other shoes that sparked my interest were in the $65-$70 range. They do have other shoes priced lower in the clearance area but nothing that suited my needs. They were also selling their 'Foamies' for $20, and had a buy one pair get one pair 50% off in another section of the store which was a good deal. I didn't purchase anything today; however, I now know where to go if I am looking for a new pair of fancy Sketchers. It's definitely worth the stop if you're in the area shopping, check them out.

Skechers sandals are hit and miss with me because it seems like they're always too big at the front end so I walked out with nothing but what a great store! Banana Republic recently has been moving from a basic fast fashion big box brand to a demi-luxury…read moremarket with it's price point, the addition of a home decor shop (not at this location), reverting to its initial branding which in this day & age feels far more upscale than the basic branding of the past 20 or so years, and its material choices (adding more hides and leatehers, natural fibers and a far more expancivce accsessories department as a whole) However with that new demi-luxury price point comes a new customer who expects a bit of a higher customer servece level - at least basic care information readdily avable wthout having to call customer service. While this is not nesisarrily specific to this location, I did have an issue with this location after buying a suede jacket that is stocked year round. After speking wth 3 staff members about basic care for their brands suede (which is likely not as high quality as some competiors at a higher price point) all three looked at me with confusion and didn't seem to understand the basic question being asked and I was directed to customer service by all three. The last one I spoke with did ask me to elaborate on why I was asking this so at least took the time to understnad why that's information they should have at the ready which was apprichated. Otherwise, this is decent medium sized location that tends to get more of the summer prices year round with some of the winter items for tourists that routinely make stops here while in town. Staff is friendly and chatty (In a good way) but not well educated on their brand and product.

The recrafting service is a fraction of the price of the shoe and takes about six weeks to complete. My husband still wears the very first pair of shoes that I bought him over twenty years ago. They have been recrafted twice and look as beautiful as the first day that I bought them. This along with top notch customer service makes them the best. Willy, William, Eddy and Sergio are all AWESOME!!! I stopped by today and was surprised to see that their inventory now includes watches.
