Rude employee, white guy with blond hair working on 7/7/21. Walked in to him yelling at a customer, customer turned and walked out and employee kept hollering. Turned and asked us what we needed help with. My husband was told he had a warranty on frames when he purchased them and his frames broke in an accident. Rude employee said it wasn't their fault and that he would need to purchase a new set. My husband explained what was told when we purchased the frames and rude employee all but called my husband a liar. Terrible customer service, I even felt bad for the other employees who were obviously uncomfortable with his behavior. Hoping the manager sees this and addresses the issue. Won't be back until this person moves along. read more

Oakley Vault rocks! I recently purchased a piece of luggage here before leaving the country for vacation. Baggage handlers will be baggage handlers and my new Oakley luggage was returned to me at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in sad shape. Apparently, it had ripped a seam. I talked a friend into tagging along with me and the salesperson swapped out my busted luggage with a new piece within a matter of a few minutes. No questions asked, just walked to the back and picked up a new one for me. He even made a funny joke about it and laughed with me. My friend found a pair of Oakley polarized wire frame sunglasses that usually sell for over $200.00 on sale for $130.00. What a sweet deal! I also found a pair of board shorts for the volleyball courts. We both walked out as extremely satisfied customers and I will make it a point to return here on a regular basis to check out their awesome bargains. read more

Prices for Oakley sunglasses may be affordable and they do have a great selection of clothes, which is the ONLY reason they get 3 stars... but the service just sucks. Apparently walking in on a weekend morning is a bad idea because the numerous staff on hand are too busy discussing "who did who" or "what" the night before. I tried to buy a pair of sunglasses at this store a few weeks ago and was made to feel like I was a hassle interrupting the weekend gossip. I Found a few polarized and non-polarized sun glasses I wanted to try on but the guy unlocking the case kept sighing, rolling his eyes, and looking back at his friends -- so I left. The next morning we went back just to see if it was an "off" one time experience... unfortunately no, same bad experience different day. 2x is enough for me to steer clear and I really like Oakley stuff but I cannot go to this store again. I hear the sounds of a secret shopper in their future. read more

I agree that Oakley Vaults rock. I just moved to Austin a few months ago and finally made my way to the Outlets since I was up in Round Rock at IKEA anyway (across the street). They've got PUMA, NIKE, cK, all the surf stores, and then I see the Vault. Yes it was an Oakley Vault! I excitedly ran in the store based on my previous shopping experiences at the Vault in Cabazon, CA. Unfortunately I was a little disappointed in its size. It wasn't as large as others but it still had some great deals and a little of everything that I like (bags, shorts, sunglasses, and did i say bags?) I can't get enough of the Oakley bags, especially the AP line. I've got the Sandbag (1/2 price), the AP Snowboard Case (1/2 price), the AP Rolling Luggage (1/2 price) and NOW the Vertical 2.0 for 1/2 price! If i could carry them all at once I'd be the ultimate traveling weapon. The problem with the Vault is that it's harder to find your size and it's hard to know when they will get certain items. The staff is helpful but stays out of your way so I say go check it out because you never know what great deal you might find :) read more

Store manager Michael was extremely patient as I decided which pair of prescription glasses to get. Was sick of switching back and forth between clear lenses and sunglasses, so decided on transition lenses with a new frame. Not a cheap proposition when we're talking Oakley's, so I really took my time deciding and as I said Michael was very patient and helpful, with clear perspective on pros and cons of different options. Extremely satisfied with the result; comfortable and great for staying active. Would come back here anytime. Note the wait time for prescription lenses is above average right now due to the pandemic, but that is beyond the individual store's control. read more

I have just recently got into oakleys but it is a hassel to go to there store in Round Rock if u live out of town . I would like to see them open up a new store around Burnet Rd at the Domain Shopping Outlet Mall. I have traveled to the domain in search of one but i came up empty handed. :( with the amount of foot tradic through there i could see them doing quite well.... I have gone to the one in Round Rock and i guess 2 of the employess seemed happy and energetic witch made me feel appreciated. I plan on continueing purchasing from oakley for along time considering i am after all 19 read more
