When i tried to get a refund at the local store, they denied me and said they dont do refunds after the 17th, which was never mentioned in the email. Recently came in to look for quince dresses with my sister, came in and was greeting after about 5…read moreminuets of looking around. We told the lady working we wanted to look and maybe try on dresses if they had time. She immediately said "Okay that's fine but usually dresses THAT BIG usually aren't in stock right now." ?? That is insanely innapropriate to say to potential customers or even anyone, ESPECIALLY a 15 year old girl!! Now we didn't say anything and figured it may have "slipped" or something. The whole time we were trying on a dress or even looking at something, the girl would be throwing snarky comments about my sisters weight. Don't know if she was trying to be funny since she was saying it in a "joking" tone but nothing about it was funny. My sister had tried on a first dress & wanted to look at a different color and even pointed out a dress that interested her. The girl proceeded to say "Oh that dress is smaller than the one you just tried so it's absolutely not possible you're fitting in that one." What ?? At some other point she and an older woman were joking to us saying "Just put her on a little diet for a month and she'll be able to fit in them" and laughed as if it were funny. EXTREMELY inappropriate behavior coming from two grown women towards a not even 15 year old. MIND YOU, she's not any larger than a size 14. They said "maybe we have a size 18 she can try" and proceeded to grab a size 8. Not sure if this was a way to put her down or a way of joking or even an honest mistake, but again this was not funny at all and make us all feel super uncomfortable. They were saying that we can possibly order a larger size and said they would give their vendors a call. But they had no sense of urgency and kept saying "Oh we can MAYBE call on wednesday." (it was sunday at 2pm) Am extremely disappointed with this service and am honestly disturbed that these women think that it's okay to bully a child!! Making her feel bad about herself. There was a younger employee who helped though, and she was super sweet and attentive.(She was a bit pale, brown hair and spoke both english and spanish) Thank you to her!! She was the only employee who was sweet and acted professional. I didn't catch their names. Older lady was hispanic and on the larger side which is again disturbing that she thinks it's okay to joke about weight when she's not in shape either!!! First rude lady was also hispanic, shorter and super skinny. She had grown out highlights and pastey makeup.
