This place is great! We had so much fun. You get to relax in so many ways. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because we wish the tub was a little hotter. They keep it at a lower temp so you get the full benefits of the tea bag, but we found out self's getting out and doing the sauna and hot shower to keep warm. The team is awesome and the drinks are good. We did the date night package the room was so beautiful. rose petals, candles and chocolates. My boyfriend and I went here because we were looking for a unique date idea and we had so much fun! The staff were so accommodating and did a thorough job explaining how the spa worked and all the different areas since it was our first time there. They have complimentary snacks in the lobby and will bring drink refills to you when you press a button from inside your room. We got the date night package which included chocolates, a $30 drink credit and candles/roses. The only thing I would change is the water level in the tub could be a bit higher, it was lower than your average hot tub and our upper chest and shoulders were cold. Fun ambiance and clean facilities, but adding a 20% gratuity for an experience that is pretty light on personal service is too much. This is especially so when you have to ask the checkout person to change it, and then tell them what to change it to. If, as prior comment responses suggest, a lot of the service is in the cleaning of the room, then the business should just charge more and pay their employees what their time is worth. And if there is confusion among some customers as to what is appropriate, add the 20% and then let the customer input any changes without awkward interactions with the desk staff. read more

This was one of the coolest spa experiences ever. The process was super simple. Make a reservation online, show up on time, then let the staff guide you through the spa process. This includes grabbing a drink (beer, wine, cider, Booch, or water), taking a short tour of the facility, then starting your selected spa journey. Soaking in the beer tea (the water is infused with a sachet of barley and hops) was so comforting. I felt weeks of stress melt away. We booked an hour in the beer therapy room for a date night, and it was so great! We got there early to enjoy the tap room, which has a lovely calming vibe. the staff were friendly and the cider was great. The beer therapy room included an infrared sauna, shower, and soak. I enjoyed all three. The temperature of the soak was really nice - it was warm, but not too hot (it was perfect for the amount of time). The service was probably my favorite part of this whole experience. Everything was so well thought out and perfectly executed, from the cbd bath bombs to the glass of water they hand you as you cool down in the quiet area. Unfortunately we did not use the cbd bath bomb and I still regret it, because the way you feel after is already absolute bliss and that would of enhanced it so much more! The staff were extremely welcoming, informative and knowledgable on all things beer. The entire place from the tap room to the private spa room was relaxing and most importantly CLEAN. Wow, what an out of this world experience. I have somewhat of an aversion to traditional massages performed by humans, probably because physical touch has never been a main part of life for me especially during childhood. So when my partner (who loves massages because her shoulders give her h-e-double hockey sticks) got me a gift certificate to a place where you can drink alcohol AND get massaged by a non-human, I was ecstatic!!! We showed up and everyone who works here had amazing energy. They seem genuinely happy to see you and like they are enjoying their time at this place as much as you are. It was really nice because I didn't feel like a burden when I needed anything. If you worry about a place like this because you won't know how to act, you can stop worrying now because that's me to a T and I felt very comfortable here. The chair gives you a massage that honestly a human couldn't - it's full body and simply amazing. The galaxy room got me reflecting on well everything. Took me so far out into space, out of "reality," that I actually fully entered the present moment for the first time in too long. No phone, no distraction, just you and the chair and the galaxy. Neither of us knew quite what to expect, but it was just quirky enough to pique our interest. What an experience! As soon as we entered the spa, we were greeted by friendly faces that set about helping us to relax and have an enjoyable time on our visit. We were given a tour, an overview of the circuit, and beers to drink. A random factoid: the beer shampoo and conditioner made my hair feel SO soft, even the next morning. This was our third visit and again had a great experience. The staff is always friendly. The rooms are always clean. The Rosemary Leaf in this months bath has been our favorite so far. Love the Chai Milk Stout! A favorite has been the Cucumber! Don't forget your hydro chair massage to complete your experience. I would like to add as I noticed some negative reviews that The Beer Spa is very communicative once booked. Their policies are very clear about cancellation and gratuity. Now days you really can't book anywhere without a credit card on file and understandably so, as a small business owner myself I have a similar policy. I do believe the price is very affordable and I definitely agree with the 20% gratuity. Staff greets you, gives a tour, explains the beers featured for the month, will refill your beverage once in your room if needed or you can use a robe provided to go out and refill yourself if you prefer, then while you relax in the quiet area prior to massage they are very attentive before & after so I don't understand why anyone would disagree with gratuity. The Spa is a luxury not a necessity and I believe it is actually decent, affordable pricing. Huge plus is that The Beer Spa features local breweries so if you enjoy your beverage enough you'll know it's locally available. One of my favorite things is the Tabletopics! While you wait there are conversation starters throughout the lobby. Great idea! The Beer Spa also provides you with gender neutral bathrooms to get ready after your experience. They also provide complimentary trail mixes or you can add on a charcuterie box and bath bombs or beer infused hygiene items which you can try the shampoo, conditioner and body wash in your private room. This concept was well thought out and the only change I would suggest is maybe 1 complimentary beverage per booking. This place is so great they can book up quickly so plan ahead. We like to come every 2-3 months so we book our next experience while checking out. read more

I like this place a lot!! No complaints about the atmosphere, service, cleanliness, etc. The showers, sauna and tub were amazing. And if you have couple friends that you're incredibly comfortable with then the garage party can be a very cool experience! My only complaint is the price. That's a LOT of money for an hour and a half of time. On top of that, beer isn't even included. It should be for that price. They even ask you to come 45 min early to give you the "lowdown" of the place which literally takes 5 minutes. It's obviously a way to get you in to drink/pay for beer. Updated Review Dec 2022 - If I could give more than 5 stars to Beer Spa, I would. I just went back for my 3rd time to relax and unwind after a long year and the experience has just gotten better. My wife and I were greeted with some friendly faces and flight of all beers on tap before we made a selection. Pro Tip - Get there 30 mins or earlier - part of the fun is relaxing in their beautiful lounge playing games and sipping on beer. One of the small improvements made to the experience since my first visit was the ability to call someone to the room for beer refills - this is a brilliant touch because let's be real, we all want to maximize our time in the room. My wife and I have used the bath bomb the past few times and so I highly recommend this add-on. We finished the experience off with the 30 min zero gravity message. I cannot stress how worth it this part of the experience is. To top matters off, Damien comped this part of the experience for me and my wife - totally unnecessary but just goes to show you the quality of customer service you find here. This was our 3rd time and Damien noticed - he even personally came over and chatted with us while we waited for our massage. Hands down my favorite date-night experience with my wife. So happy to support Damien & Jessica - they've really crafted an incredibly relaxing and thoughtful experience. p.s. Don't forget to get some Beer lotion on your way out the door! Pour yourself a glass of whatever is on tap and come early. The spa room is over the top awesome. From the sauna to the shower to the actual spa tub, this is a fabulous way to spend 90 minutes. really enjoyed the experience at Oakwell Spa. The atmosphere of the sitting lounge was relaxing and was able to enjoy a great beer and charcuterie board before going into our spa treatment. We loved the sauna and loved the hot tub. The mini bar of their products in the room was a nice touch even though we didn't use any of the, liked having the option. Amount of time was perfect so no complaints there. The only one complaint my husband and I have it the suggested 20% tip the put on and hit you with at the end. I'm fine putting a 20% tip on the treatment room cost, but why am I having to tip 20% for myself and husband's getting our own beers and 20% for the extra merchandise we bought to take home as we traveled from outta town? provide people a screen to choose their own tip instead of making them feel blindsided and having to quick calculate realizing we gave a $60 tip when we did everything ourselves but setting up the treatment room. This made the experience no longer wonderful, it ended up being really expensive and we probably won't be doing it again if we decide to visit Denver. Just beware that's all. otherwise would of been a 5/5 experience. read more

BOOK any package at the Beer Spa! It is a little daunting trying to find a new spa, the Beer Spa sounded like the most colorado-esque experience and didn't disappoint. I booked an hour in the beer therapy room and 30-minutes of a zero gravity massage. It was such a zen and relaxing time and I highly recommend listening to all of Damien's suggestions as we left with glowing skin and hair that looks like you just left a salon. The water temperature of the the tub was perfect as I usually overheat in a hot tub. But at 99 degrees we were able to soak and probably could have kept soaking! Thank you to the staff for being incredibly attentive and at the last minute decorating the room for my friend's birthday even though we didn't ask. It was the perfect surprise. What an AMAZING experience! This place turned out to be everything I heard, and more! I had a little trouble (my fault,) navigating the parking and they were so quick to respond via text to let me know I was in the right place. We were eagerly greeted at the door with a smiling young woman who was thrilled to see us, little did she know I was more thrilled to see her! The check-in process was quick and painless and we were moved into the tastefully decorated lobby and immediately given beverages, with alcohol... yahoo! We were given time to unwind from our drive there, sip some cocktails, and then given a tour of the place. The woman who introduced us to our private room had a wonderful personality full of the perfect fun explanations to our entire experience. The spa room was so intimate and perfect! Our own in-room sauna, tiled shower, and the personal tub! The routine was easily explained and understood. The bell to ring for a refill of a beverage just made us feel so spoiled! They even have a garage door between the next room in the event you want a group event. (We noticed immediately as we own a garage door company ourselves.) The time given to shower and get dressed was wonderful and I was able to utilize a blow dryer and prepare myself for our dinner after the spa. Then came the zero-gravity massage chairs. I had heard nothing but positive about these chairs and now I know why... which I just can't even explain. Do it, and pay to do it longer. I was in euphoria in that chair! We will certainly be back!
