The concept of the spa is great but the actual spa is a bit icky. You are barefoot unless you get the sandals . You go from the saunas , thermal tub or cold plunge. The people that were there were not rinsing off in between the sauna & the other areas. Since it's a shared space we are all basically using everything after one another so it's not sanitary. There is no cleaning spray or product available to clean or simply rinse out the thermal tub. I can't confirm if the workers clean in between each use. YUCK! The idea is great but the structure of the space is not cohesive at all. I was expecting a bit more. After a few rounds in the same 4 areas just became redundant & boring. I ended up only staying 40 mins out of 2 hours allotted. read more

ROKS SPA in Denver earns a tepid three out of five stars, offering a mixed experience that ultimately feels too inhibited and sterile to fully recommend. As someone accustomed to the seamless, premium layout of Woodside in Westwood, Kansas, the facility here feels incredibly disjointed. The flow of the space is simply not helpful for a relaxing routine. You find yourself showering in one spot, changing over there, and awkwardly walking around barefoot, only to discover a basic curtain to change behind and no swimsuit dryer in sight. To achieve a true, high-end European-style wellness experience, they desperately need to implement separate, dedicated facilities for men and women. That being said, the physical recovery elements themselves are spectacular. The actual cold plunge, bath tubs, and the wet and dry saunas were absolutely amazing and delivered exactly what you want from a thermal circuit. The staff experience was also a bit of a mixed bag. Adam at the front desk was perfectly friendly, but he certainly did not go out of his way to anticipate guests' wants or needs. On the flip side, the cleaning crew was awesome, consistent, and kept the sterile environment immaculately maintained. The bones of a great spa are here, but management really needs to step up their game, fix the awkward layout, and inject some actual luxury into the flow before it is worth a strong recommendation. read more

I came here today and really enjoyed it. Popping between the sauna, cold baths, steam room, and hot soak tubs was relaxing and entertaining. The diversity of different sensory experiences was fun and both livened and relaxed my nervous system. I paid $45 ish for a weekday 2 hr session. The 2 hrs was the right amount of time but I doubt I will return at that price point. It's more expensive on the weekends for a drop in but you could get a membership if you think you will come many times. read more

Denver's new and hottest spot (literally 195 degrees)! I live near Union Station so we dropped by to see what Rok was about and we weren't disappointed. The customer service was exceptional. Kylie was really thoughtful about explaining the trial and membership options available. We decided to sign up for a 2 pack on the spot and LOVED our first session. The sauna is so spacious and I love the options of temperatures for the cold plunges. There's a steam room which is definitely steamy, not my personal thing but I love this for those who do!!! The cleaning crew was on top of everything and were maintaining the space the whole time we were there. Everyone was super respectful and took turns with the cold plunges. The thermal tubs were such a nice touch at the end, don't skip out on it! The options for showers and changing rooms make for an easygoing in and out experience. Overall, I would definitely recommend checking out Rok. read more

A Nordic spa in the heart of Denver? Who would have thought? I'm thrilled to find this place. We went here after a Pilates class for a friends birthday and it's the perfect after workout recovery spot. The facilities were incredibly clean and well maintained. The Nordic spa is the hottest temp allowed for a spa and I could have lived in there, seriously. This is also my first time trying a cold plunge and, honestly, I think I get the hype. read more

Absolutely incredible! I am beyond thrilled we have an authentic Nordic spa in Denver. Upon entering, I was greeted by a super kind lady who gave me a run down of the facilities. You get a pair of sandals included the first time, but make sure you either purchase a pair or bring your own going forward. The sauna is spacious and has three levels for seating, which is so nice. There are cute timers on the wall you can flip to keep an eye on the progress in your session. The steam room was so amazing. It was infused with eucalyptus and had so much active steam which was so nice. The cold plunges were indeed cold, and there was never a shortage of them if you did want to take part in that. The thermal soak was super hot and I actually had to wait for it to cool a bit. After your session, there are showers with amenities for refreshing. There are also blow dryers which is really nice! Bring your own hairbrush. I can't wait to book my next session here and am already looking forward to bringing my friends from out of town as well. Thanks so much for a great experience. read more

What a great time! Finally Denver has a real Spa and Sauna experience. When I first saw the instagram ads for ROK SPAS and saw that their sauna is actually a Real sauna that isn't the size of a cubicle but it's in fact a massive space that can fit a small school bus and that the heat source was actually true radiant heat how nordic sauna is meant to be and has been for hundreds of years, I was immediately sold. (I am Not a fan of the claustrophobic red light therapy sauna booths) I've now been there twice and can confidently say that I am gonna be a member for as long as I live in the area. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Gave me a helpful Run down of all the amenities and their suggestions on which order to use them in. I forgot sandals my first time, as no shoes are allowed inside for hygiene purposes (which I totally appreciate) and staff had pairs of ultra plush sandals for rent at $4 or purchase for $12. I bought two pairs, one for me and one for gf! Too good of deal to pass as the sandals are quite comfy. Towels were super soft. Steam room was full of steam the entire time I was there, cleared up my allergies which I needed. Cold plunges were at 48 degrees which is plenty cold and enough to get all health benefits within 3 minutes. Slept great those two nights btw. The esthetics of the place were on point. My pictures won't do it justice. I got the monthly membership which If you intend to go more then once a week its a no brainer and you can't put a price on your health anyways. Having been to Nordic spas in Europe and Canada, I was very excited to try this place. Well... first with the good. The sauna and steam rooms were very nice and I never had to wait for a cold plunge. The staff were friendly. On the downside, several people were very loudly talking in both the relaxation area and during the sauna itself. I was never instructed to keep noise to a minimum and there were no signs to this effect. People were sitting on the wood and putting their disgusting feet on it without a towel barrier... again, no instructions not to do this. Also, despite being new, there were signs of disrepair including a missing shower handle in the main rinse off space, non functional Japanese bucket shower, and non-intentional open plumbing near the cold plunges. Mirrors near tubs were dirty and there were greasy fingerprints all over the lockers. The "hot" tubs filled so slowly they were basically useless and, given the conversation reverberating through the concrete space, they weren't relaxing anyway. Can't say I would recommend unless they fix the issues I mentioned. People in the US need clear instructions on how to be courteous in a spa, unfortunately. read more

The pictures on the website are not representative of the space. This is a poorly executed great idea. They let way too many people in at a time to the point where people are doubled up in the single person baths together. Additionally you have to wait a long amount of time for a bath to come available, then you have to drain the bath, clean it yourself, and fill it back up. They have a sopping wet carpet near the cold plunge pools and lastly when I was putting on my shoes to leave, a pipe was dripping water on me from the ceiling. No separate changing rooms for men and women and nowhere to hang towels except for maybe 5-10 hooks. Very small lockers as well you have to leave your jacket and shoes at the door. Bathrooms were also dirty both times I used them. Do not recommend. read more

My husband and I decided to check out this new spot for date night. It's super clean, the staff is lovely, and the vibe is great! We really enjoyed the choice in a few different temps for cold plunges, and the rest area was super comfortable. We both felt amazing after, and I'll definitely be coming back with girlfriends. Would love to see some cups and dispensers with cucumber water in the rest area, though there are bottles for purchase and a fountain! read more
