Food was good. It was 92.in Duluth and actually was overwhelmed but Al Pastor was my favorite.

Such a fun place! We were passing through on our way home from a quick trip up north, and wanted Mexican food for lunch. The vibes were fun, the service was quick and friendly, and the food was outstanding! We had Carnitas and chicken burritos, a birria torta, a ground beef and cheese quesadilla, and the small (which was huge for only $9.25!) walking taco. I'd highly recommend this place for a quick and delicious meal. read more

I had their food at their truck at an event two days prior to this restaurant visit and was really happy with that experience. I had the queso birria at the truck and ordered just one and wished I got more- it was delicious. At the restaurant I got an order of 2 queso birria - they were a little bigger and cheaper in the restaurant. I ordered chips and salsa for $6 and didn't care for the salsa. It was different - a little sweet tasting. And I thought $6 was a bit steep. My friend got the queso and that was good. Our food came out pretty fast. Overall I loved the tacos but would pass on the chips and salsa. read more

An actual oasis for me, having moved from Monterey Park (next to East L.A.) to Duluth in November last year. The overall feel is fabulous, & the staff is all very charming. Also, they have Valentina hot sauce, which is amazing, because it's my personal favourite, and even in LA, it's mostly Tapatio or Cholula. So, Points! My husband got all the different meat Real Tacos; I got a carne asada taco and a carnitas burrito. We also bought full jars of the medium salsa verde and the hot salsa (both delicious!). The Carne Asada texture was not what I expected, but the flavor was nice. It was a bit dry but the salsa verde helped that. The carnitas was also not the texture I'm used to, it was more shredded than chunks, but it was still Carnitas! My husband liked all of his tacos, also. They carry Jarritos!! So cool!! I only drink Mineragua Jarritos because sugar, but it's all so good! Also they carry Topo Chico. So overall, such a breath of fresh air, and we'll be back for sure. I feel like I can't really complain about the meat textures because it might be regional preferences, and I can't speak to that with any authority. read more

Watched my food get cold cause they made the tacos, talked to people instead of making the food, and then had to wait for queso. Food was completely cold when getting home. Order should have not taken an hour since they weren't that busy. read more

Ambiance is wonderful, love the decor. Staff and service was above and beyond. My husband loved his carne asada and chorizo street tacos. He also got the birria quesadilla and thought that was phenomenal. I thought the carnitas and pollo needed a little more flavor, so I added salsa and then it was fine, but the chorizo was good as is! read more

Stopped for dinner got the chicken tacos and the pork tacos (American style) loved the pork did not the chicken had a clove or nutmeg vibe some might like I did not tried two of the salsas mild and medium mild very blan but the medium (green). Check out the soups! Amazing. We are big fans of the truck and so excited to see the restaurant open. Friendliest, most accommodating staff in Duluth. Very cozy, nice vibe and very clean. We were excited to try out the new restaurant. We love tacos, travel to SoCal a bit, and Oasis on paper is right up our alley. Unfortunately our food was all very bland and not at all up to par, especially for the price. I ordered birria and carnitas tacos. I love birria and was really excited to have that in Duluth. Unfortunately, I could barely taste the difference between the two or really any flavor on either of them. I only really tasted the lime I squeezed. My wife ordered the pollo and said it was also very bland. We were both disappointed. The salsas were okay. Tried all three. Also very little flavor to them unfortunately. We ordered chips and salsa and got chips and queso, which was a free upgrade / mistake. I'm glad we did. The queso was probably the best part of our meal. The chips unfortunately were half crumbled like they were out of the bottom of a bag. The rice and beans that came with our platters were both cold. The menu screens weren't working right or turned on. The pickled onions by the salsa station were basically empty. The salsa ramekins were way too small. Very disappointing execution all around unfortunately. The restaurant build is very nice. I liked the interior, the tables, the location. Planning to try it again since I want so badly to have good Mexican options in Duluth. Fingers crossed. read more

After visiting the food truck and thinking it was tasty but over priced, I was excited to see they had a location to visit. Had lunch there the other day and brought home some tamales. Lunch was ok at best and expensive. Tamales were the worst I've ever had, ended up throwing most of them away. Masa was like rubber. Done with this place! read more

Staff and service was friendly and great. Food was so good, satisfied all 5 of us. We took take out but as we waited briefly for our food, the atmosphere was nice. The staff was so helpful, we didn't know how things were done, they all helped us through it to order. read more
