The brioche bun was fresh and soft, and the bacon was cooked perfectly, adding a great crispy, savoury bite. My only disappointment was the blue cheese. I was really looking forward to that strong blue cheese flavour, but it was definitely lacking and only came through as a very subtle hint. For a burger specifically centered around blue cheese, I was hoping for a little more. That said, I still enjoyed the burger overall and would definitely return to The Works to try some of their other burgers. There are plenty of interesting options on the menu, so I'm curious to see how the others compare!

There were three children and two adults in our party therefore, we were given both children and adult menus to order from. I decided on the avocado dip with nachos, although the dip wasn't really a dip, as it was chunkier than I had liked. The food took about 15 minutes to arrive, which wasn't too long however, the kids were a tad restless having to wait. Both of my children's dishes had a large amount of fries, with only a small amount of chicken strips and hamburger. My avocado dip had an overflow of nachos, yet not a lot of avocado. It also had too much onion, which made the dish taste strong. The service was good throughout our entire stay, with the server checking on us periodically to make sure that we were okay. The food was mediocre, and definitely not worth the price that we had paid. Overall, would most likely not return to this restaurant. To be honest, we only dined here as it was the closest to the movie theatre that we were at therefore, it wasn't our first choice initially.

Last week, I decided to complete my burger and fries quest by visiting this one, to complete the trifecta. My observation is that the further south I go in Cambridge, the better my experience is at Fast Eddie's. This location is now my favourite one. This eatery is pretty close to downtown Cambridge. I had no problem finding it. It is across the street from a massive plaza. I was in the median lane, waiting for the traffic to clear before making a left turn to get here. I felt so relaxed waiting. Maybe it's just Cambridge's vibe. I pulled into the drive-thru. I got the most pleasant male voice speaking to me. I seem to be ordering something different every time I'm at Fast Eddie's. This visit, I got a double bacon cheese slider as a combo. I went with bacon crazy fries and a Diet Pepsi. I got my total and then headed over to the pickup window. The man was so friendly and energetic. I think the guy at the Fast Eddie's closest to Highway 401 could pick up some tips from this man. I paid using my debit card. The transaction was effortless. He asked me whether I wanted a tray. The fries come in a cup, as does my drink. I said yes, as two of my cup holders in my car were already occupied. My food and drink came. I thanked the man and wished him a good day. I then had something happen to me for the first time. I went to put my tray of fries and a drink down on the passenger floor of my car. The weight was so lopsided that some of my fries landed in the tray. My photo of my bacon fries consisted of my piling the spilled-over fries back into the cup. It looked like I was stacking miniature logs for a fireplace. Anyway, I decided to drive across the street to the plaza and eat in my car. I'm glad that I did because I got to analyze the stores at this plaza as I ate. I have found my burger! The double bacon cheese slider was delicious and screamed my name. It had two beef patties, sauteed onions on the bottom, two slices of cheese, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. It all worked so well together. Between getting raw or sauteed onions, I would sooner have the latter. They are sweeter and yummy. The bacon fries were amazing. The chili sauce on the fries had bits of ground beef. I felt like these fries were over-the-top decadent with crumbled bacon everywhere. The fries were crispy. I loved them so much. I am rarely a fries person, but I do love Fast Eddie's fries. I am still going through every fries variation listed on the menu. I had a great experience, despite my klutzy tray incident. I am looking forward to returning and trying more items off the menu. My next goal might be to order every item off the menu over multiple visits. (75)

The customer service is good at this location, the guy who took my order was very nice and friendly, although it was late at night and he might've been really tired. I got cheeseburger with fries and added tomato, mushrooms, dill pickle and extra sauce to my burger. I also got a complimentary bag of donuts. My food took longer than I expected to get ready, but the burger was perfectly cooked. Something I didn't like was that the meat and all sauces were very salty.
