I go to this place because it's near me but they're very often closed at random times that they advertise (online & on the door) that they're open without any notice so that's been frustrating. The phone number they have online never gets picked up even if they're in the shop. I like the actual threading pretty well but this keeps happening, unfortunately and it may be enough to drive me to find a new place. I usually wouldn't write a review but there's no way to talk to someone on the phone and when I've brought it up in person, they don't really say anything in response so just posting in case anyone else needs to have this in mind. read more

I first discovered this place a few years back while in college, but I've only just started going consistently since the end of 2023. I always go for eyebrow threading, and it never takes more than ~5 minutes. It does get busier on weekends, and there can be a wait since there's only one person working at a time, but I've never had to wait when going after work on weekdays. It's $12 for the service, and I like that they use punch cards so either your 10th or 11th (sorry can't remember off the top of my head) is free. read more

Quite overdue review for this neat brow bar. It's a small shop but it's worthy. My eyebrows was on fleek and looked cute for weeks! The lady who worked here was super kind and friendly. My eyebrows were looking like caterpillars, but I only let the professionals touch them! Make sure to call ahead time schedule an appointment. Due to COVID restrictions, they can only have a limited amount of customers for you safety and theirs. Make sure you wear a mask as well. Reshma makes sure to sanitize the chair after each client. She is also wearing a white coat, a mask, and gloves that she changes after every client. She also wraps the thread around her neck instead of holding it in her mouth As always, she did a phenomenal job. I missed her so much! Please make sure to stop by and support this business. I am continuously blown away by the service of this eyebrow threading place. I think the fact that I'm writing a review for an eyebrow place shows my love for this lil shop Each time I go, my eyebrows turn out incredible. I brought my friend who moved from LA and she said the quality of work is better than any $50+ eyebrow threading or waxing she's gotten in LA. The thing I admire most about this place is that you can tell and FEEL that Reshma (the owner I believe) truly cares about making your brows look good. She takes the time and care to thread, trim, shape, pluck any tiny remaining hairs, and aloe your eyebrows. She also seems very kind too from my interactions with her. Both my friend and I mentioned how we felt like pieces of art when she did our brows since she's so meticulous and artful when doing your brows They also have been great with covid cleanliness procedures if that is of your concern! They wipe down everything after you, thread with their necks () so they can keep their mask on, use disposable tools when they can (ie disposable eyebrow brushes). They are open on the weekends only I believe, and I think are appointment only to limit the amount of people in store, so call ahead to make an appointment! Also, don't let the exterior looks of the shop deter you. Conveniently located in a strip mall at 51st & manor. Good clean threading salon. Very reasonable rates . The girl who did my brows was sweet, and made sure to ask me how I liked my eyebrows shaped. She kept checking before giving any different arch or changing the shape (thick /thin). She patiently listened to what I wanted an then explained me how could I achieve that desired shape. Most of the time they do a decent job. Today, I didn't love how my brows came out but the real reason I probably won't come back is due to the repeated beeping noise. There is a security alarm or other system that beeps repeatedly every minute, and the noise makes me feel like I'm going crazy. I had never had my brows threaded. Reshima was so wonderful and kind from the moment I walked in. The shop, located in a little strip at 51st & Manor, is immaculately clean and very welcoming. I get nervous when people's hands are near my eyes and face. Reshima noticed that I was nervous, asked if I was ok and was so sweet, trying to make sure I was calm and all was well, as she worked her magic on my brows. While waxing can be painful, threading wasn't bad at all. Once she is done with the threading, she trims your brows, ensuring you are left with a gorgeous look. It's amazing and it's only $7! I love Reshna's simplicity to get the job done while at the same time honoring my detailed requests (medium-arch, please be careful with my right eyebrow since it's a little shorter, cut a bit off there, and the list goes on). I was in the area and needed face threading and eyebrow tint. I called about 10 minutes before I got there and the lady working said no problem. It was a Tuesday afternoon and no other customers were there . She was very thorough and gentle with the threading. She asked what color I wanted for the tint and when we were done , I decided I wanted a bit darker and that was no problem. Simple no-frills shop, but this was truthfully the least painful threading experience I've had in over ten years of having my eyebrows threaded. I just needed my eyebrows cleaned up, but the woman who did mine took her time and was both gentle and thorough; at the end, I did notice a few stray hairs that had been missed, but it was no problem for her to fix it for me. She did wear a mask the entire time and has adapted to tying the string around her neck while threading. I just moved to Austin, and it's always a little nerve-wracking trying new threading places in a new city, so I'm glad I found this one! read more

I just moved back from SA where I use to get my eyebrows threaded near my college campus. The last time I went they ripped off a part of my skin so I was scared to try threading again but this place! Wow!!! I was seen by Aanvi, she is so sweet and a perfectionist! I showed her a picture of how I wanted my eyebrows and she was spot on. I would give it zero stars if I could. I have never had a worse experience at an eyebrow threading salon. I went once before here and had great results but whoever was working on May 8, 2021 at 2:30pm RUINED my eyebrows. I have been growing them thicker for months. I explicitly and clearly told her I was growing them out and to only do a light touch up of stray hairs and a tint. She destroyed my brows making them extremely thin and uneven and undoing years of growth. I have never been so upset after having my brows done. I sat in my car and cried. She did not listen at all to my request, rushed through it, and made my brows look horrible. I will never return and whoever did this should not be doing eyebrows. It will take months to regrow what she removed. read more
