My stepmom and I were traveling from out of town and found this place on yelp. We both agreed it might have been some of the best full sets and pedicures we have gotten. I got dip today with Monica at Oasis. Overall, I'm very satisfied. My nails do not feel too thick, and I got exactly what I asked for. Be prepared to pay an additional cost for each nail you do a design on. My friend did a more complex design (second photo) and it was $80. My nails (first photo) were only $55. The salon is kind of chaotic and messy, so I couldn't really relax, but thats my only major complaint. My friend however felt her nails were a bit overpriced, and the tech had a hard time following the photo/directions she was giving when working on her design. read more

I went here based on all of the amazing reviews and I must say this is the worst nail experience I've ever had. I got a pedicure and dip manicure and I was there over 2.5 hours. The nail tech clipped off the side of my finger nails down to the skin (which I've never ever ever had done). She then proceeded to file where she clipped (my skin) to the point of two of them bleeding. My nails are uneven and she polished the top coat over my nails onto my skin which I had to have her fix after it dried. read more

First time at Oasis Nails by Rose. I called at 3:30 pm today to see if they had an openings today. They said they could accomodate at 4 pm. I arrived & they are following Covid safety precautions. Workers & customers all wearing masks. They take your digital temprature via your wrist, then then direct you to the back to wash your hands. Jade did an excellent job on my classic manicure using OPI pink. We had a plexiglass partition between us. Helen was outstanding with my signature pedicure which included polish change, sugar scrub, nail trim, clay mask, 10 min lotion massage on each leg & foot, followed by hot towel wrap. Valentina the manager checked me out @ the front desk with sanitized pens. The owner Rose was very nice & made sure that I had a good experience. The place was large, very clean, massaging chairs were comfortable & they use disposable liners in the pedi-bowls. Everyone was socially distance. I had to try Oasis because of the location... save your money...and do not go. I was hit with the constant upsell pressure. The person's English wasn't great so it took me a little bit to figure out what she was saying. I was choosing regular polish and she kept trying to pressure me to get a more expensive gel mani pedi. When that didn't work and I sat down, I was given a laminated "menu" and she kept pointing to every other more expensive service other than the Basic Mani Pedi I made the appointment for. I finally had to tell her to stop... just give me what I asked for. I was in a hurry and in other places, one person can do your nails while the other does your feet. But she apparently wanted the entire tip... so this seemed a problem until I firmly asked the front desk person who was much more amenable. I had to leave for a multi day conference but if I didn't I would have had them re-do this. She didn't buff my toes or my nails well and you could see the ridges through the polish. The polish itself had probably been thinned so many times I noticed it was a bit soft and wrinkled in some place and kind of tacky a few days later. Again, you could see the ridges in the nails. Even if it was $30 for a mani pedi I would not go back here. read more

Was a loyal customer here for 2 years or so. Continued to come despite the drastic price changes over the years. Perspective: $80 before tip for a REGULAR manicure (clear polish) and basic Gel pedicure. On the occasion that I'd do a hard gel manicure, with Monica - who does a great hard gel manicure, I'd pay $120 before tipping (for a plain hard gel manicure and regular gel pedicure- no acrylics, no design, no upgrades). Tammy does a really nice, clean mani/pedi and is pleasant to interact with. Katherine does a nice pedicure but has nipped my nail beds on more than one occasion. A couple of other nail techs that I've gone with have also nipped my nail beds causing bleeding. The names that I mentioned are the nail techs that I've had the most pleasant interactions with (others, not always so pleasant in demeanor or conversation). After being a loyal patron for 2 years I was told today by the owner Rose that I can no longer schedule appointments because I missed an appointment without calling to cancel. One appointment in 2 years. That was 2 months ago and I've made numerous appointments- that I've kept- since then. But am now being told I can't make appointments moving forward. To put in perspective I came in earlier that day for a manicure with Tammy, asked if she had availability later in the day for a pedicure and she did. I told her I was in the middle of a move (while 8 MONTHS PREGNANT by the way) and wanted to come in but wasn't sure I'd be able to make the time slot she had available. She said to book anyway and just call if I couldn't make it... after losing track of time in the midst of moving, I missed the appointment. Now apparently months later it's a problem. Without this experience I'd give Tammy and Monica 4 stars (good service, still overpriced). I'd give the business as a whole 2 stars, considering the other techs have left me bleeding on more than one occasion on very basic services (less than satisfactory service that are super overpriced). read more

I went for an acrylic refill and left with somehow a visible separation between my nail and the acrylic. I also had a pedicure and somehow she scraped a hole in my toe that was bleeding when I left. I walked to the salon but had to get a ride back because it was too painful to walk. And I've never seen a separation between my own nail and the acrylic before in over 10 years of getting acrylic nails. After a week I noticed things being trapped in that gap and realized it could be dangerous and lead to infection, so I came back and told them. She told me everyone gets a dip now because it's "healthier," so I tried a dip because she made me feel like acrylic wasn't safe anymore even though I had been doing it for years. I had NEVER seen a separation like that before and she completely blamed it on the previous salon I had been to. Made me pay in full for a dip and I didn't like how it looked after 3 hours of sitting there to get it done. Complete waste of time and money and I'll never go back read more

Don't go to Oasis unless your getting a big ticket item. I took my granddaughter in for a full set acrylic and a fill acrylic for myself. They immediately took my granddaughter but would not take me, even with an appointment! I sat there over an hour while one after another patrons were serviced but only if you were getting a large ticket item. Apparently, ever single person that walks in the door is monitored by Rose, an elderly Asian lady, the owner. She only will allow big tickets items be serviced!, even thought I was spending $75 on my granddaughter's nails!!! Will not return!! read more

Awful! I specifically made an appointment for a pedi and full set UV gel manicure. The pedi was fine but then I waited more than a half hour for my mani. I was told that I didn't make the correct appointment- they thought I only was getting a gel mani. So after quite a lot of disagreeing when I was ready to leave Rose herself took me to her station. She explained only 2 manicurists do UV gel in the shop hence the wait. Ok.,, an hour and a half later I was finally done. So I was in the shop a total of 3 hours! Pedi-$65. Ok no problem I had the works and hadn't had a pedi in a year due to Covid. But I was charged $70 for the UV gel full set!!! And throughout the entire mani she reiterated that I made the wrong appointment and that I should get a gel mani. I told her several times I wasn't interested in that and I've tried it before and it doesn't stay on my nails. Then she recommended powder gel- same thing- doesn't stay on my nails. $70? I looked at the price list on the desk and UV wasn't even listed. But realized later on the website it is priced at $50. So basically I think they overcharged me because I made an issue out of waiting so long. Never going back there! Stay away! There are plenty of other nail salons in the area! read more

Worst mani/pedi experience I've ever had. I have a 3mo old at home and went back to work this week so wanted to get my nails done. I popped in after I fed him to see if they could do a gel mani/regular pedi. Rose said they could get me right in. I thought that meant no wait which would work with his feeding schedule. They did my nails first which is odd. Then had me wait for 35 mins to do my toes without saying a word. Rose told me it was because of appointments. Fine, but why did she not tell me they were overbooked when I walked in? Had I known upfront I wouldn't have stayed but now I've been held hostage with nails done but not toes. So then I sit down to get my toes done and they tell me they don't have the matching OPI color from my gel. The appropriate time to tell me that would have been before they did my nails. I found one sort of similar but its much darker. The attitude of the chick that told me they didn't have it was horrible which is of everything what bothered me the most. She said we don't have a match for 200-206. Like I was an idiot and was supposed to know? Bottom line: Totally unorganized, subpar job, bad communication, and nails/toes that don't match that took 2.5 hours. She did offer for me to come back and she would fix it. 1) I'm never going back 2) if I barely had time to get them done to start with, how do I have time to go back? read more

I am temporarily living in Pompano while I find a house in Boca Raton and I thought that a good way to explore the area I'm in is to find a nail salon close to me. I went to several places looking for a quick pedicure and none of which took me in because they were too busy. This was the third place I went to and they happily took us in. They are very professional and not to mention did an amazing job! I can tell that the other customers were people who have been there multiple times so there has to be some reason they keep coming back!! Do you have strong, independent nails that don't need no man? #metoo OH WAIT, NOT ANYMORE. I saw Rose for a few months when I first moved to Pompano. She is a very sweet woman who will always remember your name, and will always file your nails down until you don't have any nail left. I tried SNS (which is the dip powder, as opposed to gel) because I wanted long nails. It took TWO HOURS. TWO HOURS EVERY TIME. Way too long. Rose will answer the phone 22.5 times while she's doing your nails and will use the power drill on your nail with every call. I bled every time as well. My nails were DESTROYED after 2-3 months of going there. They will not soak your nails and give you a manicure unless you ask for one. Fast forward 3 months (after not going back). I needed to remove gel from my nails and toes and the other nail place nearby was closed. My very generous and caring boyfriend wanted to pay for me and so I decided to give OASIS another chance. They wrapped my fingers/toes in acetone/foil. 45 minutes later, my hands were still wrapped and my feet had not even touched the water. The man was really struggling removing the gel from my toes and kept using the drill file and a nail file on top of my big toe. I even told him to stop filing my nail down twice. He cut my big toe nail at an angle on both sides, giving it a weird shape, and was starting to cut my cuticles (remember my feet have not soaked yet...) and then started filing on top of the nail again! I told Rose that this was terrible and that I wanted it to be over with. Now my right big toe nail is so incredibly thin, flimsy and sensitive. I can bend it just by putting barely any pressure on it. This is exactly what happened to my finger nails a few months ago and they are finally growing out to be strong. I didn't let them finish the pedicure or my nails. Did I mention I had been there for almost an hour and nothing was accomplished except for gel removal?? My boyfriend had already paid $35 on the phone for the gel removal and pedicure and I told Rose that I expected a refund and she asked me why, tell me I'm causing trouble, and argued with me while she was supposed to be doing someone else's nails. She agreed to refund $25 but it hasn't happened yet and it's been 3 days. Seriously. DO NOT GO HERE. I've been getting my nails done for a long time and have been to so many places. The technicians at OASIS don't know what they are doing and they will take a really long time doing it. Go to Ava just down Atlantic in the Publix center. read more

I asked how much a gel manicure was. $40 , I was charged 45 at the end because I had to have my old polish removed? I sat down and said please do not use the electric dremal file. She used it to remove my polish AND before she applying my polish. I am mad for being over charged for the opposite of what I asked for. It was not a treat. It is not worth it.
