This salon has been in the area for many years. Had a lovely pedi by Cat. But the gentleman that did the nails made me bleed. When I showed the receptionist she could not believe it and started saying your bleeding!!! Called the owner Rose over who apologized and gave me a $20 gift card. Completely disappointed after reading glowing reviews. Rose did a full set after convincing me that the full set I did at another salon couldn't be filled. She charged me $70 for a set of gells. I wasn't thrilled with the cuticle work, but I didn't say anything. Less than a week later I have 3 nails crack on the sides. I'm out of the country so all I could do was glue them, but eventually it didn't work. read more

I was in search of a nail salon closer to my house and nails by Rose was recommended. While the ladies were nice, my nails are crap. I got a white powder dip manicure that turned yellow two days later. I'm not sure why that would happen. The top coat was done with regular polish as opposed to gel. I've been doing powder dip regularly for 2 years and no one has ever used regular polish as a top coat. Generally speaking I can stretch my powder manicure about 4 weeks. This manicure by Rose didn't even last two weeks. I already have chips and lifting. Not worth the $45 price tag and 20% tip. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and avoid this place. read more

I typically don't write reviews however I went to Oasis nails on my vacation to get a pedicure. I have never had one before this point. While we were there the workers were nice and the atmosphere was positive. However almost immediately after I left I was in pain. The next day my nail polish had already started chipping and I noticed I have an infection on one toe, it was so bad that walking hurt me. 2 days later I've gotten an infection on another toe. While I enjoyed my experience at the time I can say this has made me fearful towards getting a pedicure again. read more

I have had bad manicures and pedicures before but never felt the need to post a review. But I really feel a need to today. First my sister asked not to do the electric filer on her nails and they continued as if she didn't speak. Then I asked for the same color gel manicure pedicure, they convinced me to do the gel dip on my nails and I agreed only if they matched the color and based on the picture you can see it is not the same. In addition to my nails not matching my toes my manicure was ended abruptly with no oil cream nor massage. It was crowded They were overbooked with no service. Waste of money and unless you like hangnails, you might not want to go here. They weren't that busy, but acted like it while Rose was barking at employees and the dog was barking at customers. The person giving my manicure did not listen or cut my nails as I had asked. Then days after I am dealing with hangnails I never get when I do My nails or go to other salons. Ok I just have to say this.. brought my friend from out of town here yesterday to have manicures and pedicures. The man doing my manicure had an obvious cut on the top of his finger (from being dry) and he wiped off the blood several times while cutting my cuticles. I was absolutely horrified, and told the owner. Without even checking, she told me it was nail polish. There was an obvious slit in his finger, all I asked was that the man out on a bandaid or gloves. I am horrified, especially since I brought someone from out of town and had someone else's blood rubbed on me. will never be back read more

My 1st time at Oasis as my regular tech (for years!) couldn't find me any time that she and I both had availability in a 2-week time frame and my 'backup' nail tech, well, she didn't have any time either...so off I went to Oasis. I had a 4p appointment for an acrylic P&W fill, eyebrow waxing and a pedicure. And needless to say, my nails were a wreck from having been delayed so long, even 3 missing tips. By the time I picked out the polish for my pedi, I was whisked off to a seat with Monica, who started off the conversation by saying...Hi, my name is...Monica Lewinsky...I didn't quite know how to respond to that! But then I saw the laughter in her eyes and face behind her mask, and I burst out laughing as did she. Well, that was it-I knew we were going to get along like gang-busters! She did my acrylic P&W's in 1 HOUR! No one has ever done that before, that fast and just perfect. They looked fab and feel very strong. She then whisked me off to the eyebrow waxing room and did a quick and efficient job on my brows. I was then again whisked off to the pedi area to meet Chris. **But I must digress for a moment-you may have noticed me use the term 'whisked off' frequently in this review-they all seemed to be well-trained, fast, organized and efficient, something I appreciate. I would much prefer being in & out than lingering, as long as the nails & toes look great. But some people might disagree with this approach.** ANYHOO, back to me in the awesome, amazingly comfortable, fully adjustable massaging pedi chair. Heaven, pure heaven! Chris hooked me up with some super warm water in a disposable lined (for sanitation reasons) integrated pedi foot soaker. He managed to get out those painful dust bunnies in the sides of my big toe, did a great job polishing, and didn't even flinch when I asked for a (slight) polish change. He then did a super relaxing foot and calve and foot massage-whoa, nighty night for me! And since I did not ask for the pedi 1st when I booked the appointment, I had to stay to let the toenail polish dry before I left. He told me to stay where I was and enjoy, he would check back on me. So I got another solid 1/2 hour of relaxation before it was deemed dry enough for me to go if I wanted. No whisking off here! So in the end, if I had not stayed put for the extra 1/5 hour, it was only 2 hours for 3 excellent services- P&W fill, Pedi & eyebrow waxing. GOTTA LOVE IT! Def will be making my next appointment with Monica and Chris! read more

Bad service at nail salon "Oasis. Nails by Rose" in Pompano Beach. I made an appointment four days in advance for mani/pedi, requesting a particular technician who's done an excellent job before. On the day of the appointment the owner called me personally and asked if I could come in earlier. I changed my work schedule slightly and came 30 minutes early. But when I got there, I was made to wait about 40 minutes, after which they told me that my technician is booked solid and they gave me an unknown new technician who did a very sloppy job. She was inattentive, chatting non-stop with a friend who was sitting next to her. The upshot: the service - unsatisfactory. The manicure: so-so. The pedicure: terrible. Not worth the money read more

While the techs are very good the environment is noisy and chaotic. Speaker phone conversations and speaker phone music are permitted. Hence NOT a relaxing environment. Management doesn't say anything to control it. People are very inconsiderate read more
