My review will cover only the aspects of the business I saw. I haven't done any true paintball…read morehere, just the zombie shooting event they run in October. My friend got a groupon for the zombie shoot and it was an okay deal at 32 for 2 people. We arrived pretty late and were one of the last groups. The presentation that they show was cute and tried to bring a sense of immersion into the zombie shoot, but I think they could improve the editing to make it a little more professional. I'd also recommend putting the safety instructions in this video as well as a break down of the Weapon you'll be using. We had a group of 4 and we were joined with some employees to make the total group close to 7-8 people. I would have preferred going with just my group because if you're at the back of the line you'll rarely actually shoot anything. The actual course was enjoyable and as soon as we got going I immediately became immersed. The floor is uneven in several spots and can be a hazard. I suggest being careful here because the last thing you're thinking about is where you're stepping. At the end of the course we were allowed to play fuzzball (think that's the name) for free which was a total blast. Really enjoyed that and added value to our purchase. Some recommendations to the management/business/// include more horde feelings throughout the courses, create a "boss battle" at the end (you're course has the room to accommodate that) a zombie apocalypse has a feeling of overwhelming doom and you can simulate this pretty easy. The course also felt a bit short and if we hadn't groupon'd id feel a bit short changed. You can make the lab the midway point and then have the survivors fight their way back out to safety. I love the attempt the company had made here and I support local businesses who try new ideas to generate Buzz and excitement for their location. I hope to hear of some new improvements soon!

First time here with my teen's birthday party. I have to say that the staff here are very organized…read moreand run a tight ship. It's right next to the freeway so it's extremely loud and constantly noisy. Do not expect a pristine place where you could come and sit and have a picnic. This is for all intents and purposes a Battle planning facility. Gravel everywhere, pallets, stacked, blocks and block buildings. Cool. When you arrive you will receive a briefing via video, complete with safety rules, and the do and do not rules. You will then receive information on how to wear the gear, and when you can take it off and so forth. Followed by a fitting with your gun and other stuff. They will show you how to fill the air tank, which you will need to do between each round, and you should also buy extra paintballs. I bought an extra 2000 and I think they are about 17 bucks for that box. You cannot pick the balls up off the ground because it will jam up the guns. When you are finished receiving your briefings, one of the staff members will come out with you and divide you up in the teams of red and blue and take you to a game play zone where they'll explain different games. The only downside right now, besides the fly swarms, to this place is all of the construction nearby making an on-time arrival impossible if you leave the normal time. The best route here is from the Boise direction on 84, or from Star area, then go south on Karcher until you get to Caldwell Boulevard. Turn right on Karcher and follow it all the way down until you run into Ustick. Make a right turn and go back over 84 and it's on your right side, then turn right into the driveway. If you come down, Aviation way, and dead end into Ustick, it's straightahead and slightly left and you'll see it. The signage is very poor right now. The boys are out there now and they're having a blast. Price is very reasonable for the amount of fun to be had.

Walk on play with all age groups. Our kids were pummeled by older adults who clearly looked like this was all they do. These competition adult gunslingers walked up and point blank shot some younger kids in the back. No referee or anyone noticed or even cared. We thought that with all the fields they had they would have at least tried to separate the people better. There were a lot more younger kids than adults. Price. We purchased tickets at a expo and knew we had to pay for air and paint. What we didn't know that jt would be almost 30 dollars per person. It would have also been nice to know that any unopened bag of 500 paintballs could have been returned My advice to anyone going with younger kids. do not buy bulk tickets. It's a rip off, do not play as a walk on. It's unsafe, your kids are going to be hurt by some older couch warrior looking to be a big man. The refs won't stop them. Book a private party.

Never again. I've…read moresold several items at the new East Boise Play it Again store since they opened earlier this year. I expect to get less than if I was making a private sale. Much less. But I do expect employee competence, respect, and professionalism. So far, the employees there have showed me just that. Today was the last visit I will make either to buy or sell at the East Boise store. I believe the employee who created my offer (tall blonde guy) was formerly at the Fairview store, which alienated me for different reasons a few years back (employee professionalism). That's how i remembered him, and why I considered leaving when i saw him. He suggested I look around the store while he looked over my equipment. I had a new Helly Hanson gym bag (current retail $75), an unused Rossignol backcountry ski pack (current retail $180), and an older used Wilderness Experience backpack (price unknown). I also had a used softball which, I was told by an employee before the store officially opened, would fetch $1 each. That employee even saw this same softball. The blonde guy was away from the desk, and another employee told me about my offer of $15.50--$5 each for the backpacks and gym bag, and 50 cents for the softball. When he told me the offer was 15.50, I asked "for which bag?" I could tell he was reticent to tell me it was for all four items together. The blonde employee clearly did not do his job by simply counting the number of items and stiffing me as if I was desperate for a measly amount of cash. To not differentiate between three very different pieces of equipment, and then to even offer 50 cents less for the softball was more than insulting. It was unsatisfactory work. I strongly encourage the franchise owners to support the employees who have been there, and to not employ that blonde guy I worked with today, even as a temporary. He is a disaster. In the meantime, I am heading off to an independently owned shop that pays fairly for used equipment. It's not located as conveniently as this East Boise store, but being treated respectfully and fairly is worth far, far more than a location.
