While we didn't find something that match our wishes, I do want to point out that OO had the higher end of prices of patio furniture of the multiple places that we visited. I bought an Artesian spa from Oasis about a year ago. Mike had been to our tub a couple times to address a slow leak. It turned out to be a cracked housing behind one of the lights. This could only have been a manufacturing flaw and was probably like this since we bought it. It has been over a month since Oasis first put the order in with Artesian for the replacement part. I do not recommend buying an Artesian spa. I wish I hadn't. read more

We recently bought an Artisian Spa hot tub. Mike, at Oasis Outdoor, walked us through every detailed question we had from the very beginning when we were "just looking" to the wet-test (yes, you can schedule a time to come in and actually TEST out the hot tubs - in a swim suit, obviously - before you buy them!) Anyhow - Mike was wonderful! He took us through every detail of care for our unit, he came to do the installation himself, he had the name of an amazing electrician for the circuit we'd need to install the tub, etc... AND he's the guy that will come out to do any maintenance if/when we ever need it! If you're in the market for a home hot-tub, Mike at Oasis Outdoor is your man! read more

Oasis Pools has a huge selection of outdoor patio furniture and accessories in the spring & summer months. Right now, you'll find all the Peppermint Forest Christmas stuff in the showroom instead of the outdoor patio furniture - but the patio stuff will be back in the spring. In any case, a lot of their patio furniture is really nice, but somewhat pricey. They do not have a huge selection of pool supplies - but at the back of the store, they do stock the common chemicals and water testing kits that you need to keep your pool nice and clean. If you are looking for something highly specific, such as very specific replacement parts for your pump or filter, I would recommend Leslie's as they just have a much wider selection of stock in the store. However, if you are simply looking for the basic chemicals & test supplies, you should be able to find what you need at Oasis. read more

We bought our pool and were happy about the price. They "threw" in the FROG system for "free". Well I've come to find out that it's all a scam. They hook up that system to your pool and then you have to spend hundreds of dollars for chlorine cartridges and the mineral pack every year. $20 for a chlorine cartridge which only lasts about a week or two is absurd. And $100 for the mineral pack every year. I just had the whole system switched to regular chlorine. Looking forward to not breaking the bank this year. They should explain the difference between the regular chlorine and the Frog System since they are the only one in town that sells this. Buyer beware! I gave it three stars because the service to check the chlorine levels during the season is good. Or else they would have gotten one star. read more

I must say I am a heavy rating reviewer on business before I buy anything to be sure service is good. Oasis pools had 4.5 stars on Facebook and 5 stars on local.com. Yelp has them listed as three stars but I must say the other reviews were spot on so this is why I give them five stars. I bought a big green egg around middle of July, had it delivered from Oasis and Sales guy Mark was super knowledgeable on all the green egg items. Plus you get more for your money here at Oasis vs Blackhawk hardware as Oasis has package deals from time to time which you get more bang for your buck. I am a huge fan of "shopping local" versus some other national providers (e.g. Leslie's) - which I believe this place is, but have not confirmed. I also love the "specialty" nature, they have some really cool products... from toys to chemicals to patio furniture. With a 'specialty store' comes higher prices that are generally warranted by higher quality products and exceptional service. Unfortunately, the service is some of the worst I've experienced in Charlotte. Yesterday I ventured in and three women were standing across a huge customer service counter, maybe 20 feet away. They all looked at me, none greeted or walked toward me. When I said hello and asked for help, one took two steps closer (still speaking loudly from the other side of the employee area behind the registers), answered one pointed question then turned back to her colleagues to continue her conversation. None of the three ever tried to assist. We looked at patio tables and other items for more than an hour. I had to track down yet another employee with a question who "wasn't sure" of the answer, but suggested that I go back up to the initial counter where I'd encountered the three interested women (rather than perhaps getting the answer on my behalf and returning). This was not my only visit to the store - and the first time I went it was very similar. I suspect the employees are not on commission because they have no interest or motivation (it semms) to work or help the customers. The qualify of the product is TBD. I visited other stores after and simply noticed a higher mark-up for some of the same items. read more

Bought a cantilever umbrella by Galtech from this company about three years ago. Two year warranty. Went out the other week to raise the umbrella and the entire unit dropped and just hung there. Only thing keeping it from hitting the ground was the fabric holding the ribs. Wife called Oasis and the lady did not know anything about repairing it. Broken cable. Said she would ask and call her back. This was a few Fridays ago. Still have not heard back. I wrote Galtech explaining what happened And I needed a replacement cable and instructions on replacing. They sent email back saying they did not have replacement cables or instructions as everything was manufactured oversea. No excuse. Over $1500.00 spent and got three years use. What a POS and poor customer service. Never again. read more

We had a great experience selecting several pieces for our screened area and front patio. The saleswoman (Nicole) was helpful and not pushy. The quality of the furniture we chose is amazing. The delivery scheduling was simple, a day later, and direct from their store by their own employees (who were careful, kind, accommodating). Everything was wrapped and protected very well. I recommend shopping during a sale period -we did, and feel we received an amazing product at a great price. I can't wait for the store's transition for the holidays. read more

Stay away from this company. False advertising on patio furniture. They tag it one price and charge you more when you buy it. Mark the owner doesn't care and says "Too bad if you don't like it then don't shop here" There are better places to shop with better prices read more

We purchased a Hot Tub from Oasis Pools and Spa's we had previously purchased patio furniture from them years ago they were helpful then and were helpful this time. The sales rep was knowledgeable about their spa's and setup a wet test to try several models. The only issue would be the lack of an electrician that they have used before but I can't really fault them for that read more

After shopping with Oasis for my pool supplies for two years, I wanted to upgrade my off brand pool pump and filter. I brought in my intake hose to match up fittings more easily. Upon walking in the door the salesperson recognized the Intek hose and immediately told me there was no adapting it to a Hayward system. I would have to find fittings on my own and he didn't think there was such a fitting. So off to Leslie Pool I went for my first visit and found wonderful service. The fittings actually come in the Hayward Micro Star 25 box. read more

We went to Oasis Pools to look at hot tubs. We had just started our search for a hot tub and we had a lot of questions. We walked into the store and we were the only customers there. No one was around to greet us, so we started looking at the few hot tubs on display. We continued to wait for an employee to help us. It took a while for someone to notice that there were customers in the store. We finally saw an employee walking towards us. She greeted us and asked how she could help. Her name was Nicole. I told her that we were looking for a hot tub but we had just started our search and we had some questions. She gave us a blank stare and then said (with an unpleasant undertone), "What do you want?" I said, "I think we would like a 6 person hot tub." Again.... blank stare. It was like pulling teeth to get her to offer us any information!! I asked her what brands they carry and she said (again, with an unpleasant undertone), "We only carry Artesian". That's all she said..... and then she gave us that same deer-in-the-headlight blank stare. Not really knowing much about hot tubs, we were hoping that someone would be able to offer us some valuable and useful information about the different types, styles, benefits, features, etc. I said, "Can you tell us the difference between Artesian hot tubs vs. other brands?" I asked because I was hoping to find out what is so great about Artesian hot tubs versus other brands. She said, "I don't know. I don't know anything about those other brands." She was so unpleasant, condescending, and snotty!! She didn't offer ANY MORE information than that!! I finally looked at my husband with an, I-can't-believe-this-woman look, and we both thanked her for her time and left the store. We immediately went to another hot tub store in our area and bought a hot tub from them!! read more
