Recently we hosted a party at oasis. Starting from booking the venue Nirav was very easy to work with, always available and responded to messages on time. The decorations were very unique everything was ready on time. Nirav was very attentive to every detail, very pleasant and kept an eye on every detail. The Hall is really mesmerizing has brilliant chandeliers and makes the halls look so elegant. Food was very yummy. Mutton and fish pakoras were the best. We absolutely had wonderful 2-days wedding events for my sister at Oasis. All thanks to the fantastic support of Niravji and his associates. For us, it was a challenge coordinating all the decorations booking and food menu remotely. I'm living in Toronto, and my sister was in Denver. Niravji worked very patiently with us, adjusting through the TZ challenges for us and getting all the details we requested. On the D-week, when we all landed in California, Oasis members, especially Niravji, worked dedicatedly with us before, during and after the event. We had a technical failure on the first event, where Mike (GM) went out of the way to buy pieces of equipment on the spot with no extra charge. For the second day, Niravji had personally invested in getting all the arrangements in place (and more) the previous night. When we came in the following day- we were astonished by the level of details taken care of by Oasis! A special shout out to the chef for the amazing food on both days! We had two events hosted here and both were grand success with help of Niravbhai & Pravinbhai. They were very accommodating with food especially Jain food and venue arrangements. They did help us with decorating and stayed late so next day event can start on time. Great service food and we did food tasting twice and they were able to make changes as per need. I've come here in the past for last parties and my criticism for the parties is that they keep the banquet hall lights way too low and it causes strain on the eyes. Now in the age of COVID I think they are trying to reinvent themselves with their take out food. They recently had a promotion for buy one get one free items off the menu. I ordered their Chili Paneer and Chicken 65 to take to a family event. The flavor was really good but it was too oily (a good half cup of oil left once we finished the chicken. On another day I ordered pakoras, samosa chaat, papdi chaat, and mirchi pakora. I have to start by saying it was A LOT of food. I was not expecting that much. I specifically told them I needed a lot of chutney given how much food I purchased. They came with 2 very small containers hardly enough for the plain pakoras. I have had mirchi pakoras at other places and they are usually made with Anaheim or Poblano chili peppers that have been hollowed out and stuffed with spiced potato then dipped in batter and deep fried. They are mean to have taste of the peppers outer portion but not the heat of the seeds. These were small chilis (like Thai chilis) with all the seeds inside dipped in batter and fried. They were inedible. At the very least the seeds should have been removed. read more

I recently reserved one of their halls for my brother's graduation and I have to say Mike (the manager) and Nirav (the decorator) really went above and beyond to ensure everything went perfectly! My advice to you, when it comes to the decorations, after you tell Nirav what you're looking for, trust his instincts: if he recommends something or is particular about something there's a REALLY good reason for it. He has an amazing eye for decorating and challenging him will only make your party's aesthetic worse! Mike is a great manager and a true professional! He was very reasonable with his price negotiations and very accommodating of the Afghan food caterer we wanted to cater our event! While the outside of the building could use some remodeling, the halls themselves are very beautiful and the service we received was superb! I have to make a special shoutout to Edwin, he was the delegated supervising/head server for our party that night, and just like everyone else who works at Oasis, he went above and beyond to ensure ALL of our needs were met! The general theme of the service and professionalism of Oasis is that they genuinely care about prioritizing their client's happiness. And when you're dealing the chaos of planning a large party/gathering, that's exactly what you need and want from the people who are hosting your party. I've been to a lot of venues and this by far the worst. Horrible management that does not care for wedding guests or vendors. The night I was there, there were two wedding receptions and a sweet 16 happening at the same time. This caused issues with entering and exiting the building. The venue manager shouted that it was "not his problem" when asked for assistance. I was appalled. Don't recommend this place for weddings. Interior is also outdated. read more

Ive had an event here and the guy definitely makes u turn down music! It's an event hall! At time of booking they say it's ok and then the day of he wants it super low like if it was a house party! We had great experience for our Baby Shower at Oasis. The food was amazing given that it was Jain diet with few Vegan items. Nirav help a lot with decoration. He recommended so many things and also was personally there to make sure all the setup is going well. He stayed up late to help out late night decoration for next day. We have been wanting to try this place for some time. We had been to Kids Castle (their previous venture) and used to love their pizzas. They don't have a menu on their own website. So had to order using a third-party link. The management and staff are very friendly. We ordered 3 different pizzas (all Indian style) and Daal Makhani. The food was nice. My cousin got married here with celebrations held over two sessions. The food is good and tastier compared to .most indian places. They coordinate with the kitchen and keep the dishes filled. also there are plates and cutlery available all the time. The staff is very supportive and helpful. Pricing is reasonable if on a budget. There are extra options too if required. Lighting and music is also great. Except for the location being in Fremont / Newark it's a go to place. Also two of our cars got broken into. This is not good given that South Asian parties are on the grander side. I hope they address his situation. read more

We signed a full contract, gave a deposit plus extra money and Mike called to inform us that they had to cancel our contract because they had another contract that was not in the system. We celebrated our kids 1st birthday here this week. Hall was great, food was great, the servers were great and the good things to say end there. The service as sub standard compared to the first time. Neerav, the event manager was not available on site on the date and time of event. We were promised help with decorations but nobody was around to help before the event time. It was a disappointing experience. The first time we celebrated something here was two years ago and the service was exceptional that time. As the company grew, the customer service degraded alot unfortunately. They manage a lot more parties now and have neither time nor staff to do get them right. Our party hall was not ready with everything we requested by the event time.I will not go back to oasis palace again and wouldn't recommend it to friends and family anymore. I should of done this long time ago, this review is way passed due. We had our Mehndi and Sangeet (two of the many Indian wedding events) on September 1st, 2017 at Oasis Palace. Me, my husband and our friends and family were very pleased with the overall experience. The venue itself was exactly what we were looking for in terms of budget, space, food, location and overall experience. We had sole use of the venue from early in the morning, hours before our allotted time (as a courtesy from Nirav), which gave our decorators ample time to set up the room and gave me a chance to get my bridal Mehndi done in the morning (before our event started at 7 pm) at the venue and take beautiful pictures with the backdrop, which was a HUGE plus! For what we were looking for, we could not fault anything about this venue. Friendly staff, within our budget, enough space and DELICIOUS Indian good. All our guests couldn't stop talking about how great the food was. Nirav was absolutely OUTSTANDING. Me and my husband cannot thank him enough for being so helpful through out the planning process, He is such an asset to the business. He is fun, approachable, flexible and professional. With all the work that goes into a wedding planning, we truly appreciated his timely responses to our needs/requests-- We had to change few things last minute (food/menu and hall-we had to go with the bigger hall) and I requested to decorate the hall the night before so that I can get my Bridal Mehndi done there in the morning-- he was always very pleasant and accommodating. He went up and beyond to make our experience least stressful for us. Thank you Nirav for all that you did for us and for making our experience so pleasant. They have great service as well as great food! Decorations were very elegant and beautiful. They also work well with your price range. If I can give them 10 stars I would! It's a gorgeous venue! It can get pretty hectic when there's different events going on. There are 2 or 3 different rooms they have. I say if you want a wedding or just a space for just your party request a day only for your party. Because there were literally 3 different events going on and they used a white curtain to separate the events. You can hear both partys music playing. But if that doesn't bother you I say go ahead and book. read more

This place was last minute find for me; must say one of the great decisions I took. In the admits of all the wedding preps, finding Nirav was a bliss. Pros: delicious food, unbelievably economic, ample parking space, good decor ideas and implementation. Cons: needs a lot of follow up before you get a confirmation, little messy communication and exclusivity of your event is lost as they have too many halls. We had our wedding ceremony at oasis, and this place has given us innumerable memories to cherish. It started with a phone call with one of their organizers Nirav. In the first call itself, Nirav was absolutely thorough in providing us info about the place, pricing packages etc and invited us for a tour of the place. We went to oasis and got a tour of their multiple banquets. Nirav spent a good amount of time with us patiently giving us a walkthrough of everything including packages, pricing, food, decor etc. Honestly, this was the first place we visited and we fell in love with the place and level of customer service. We knew at the time itself, that Oasis it is! Once we finalized, we made a few visits to the place to discuss the decor, few other things and food tasting. And I need to explicitly give a five star to their food tasting experience. The experience included everything from appetizers, to main course to dessert with some beverages, and everything was absolutely delicious. A day before our wedding, we were also allowed to come and take a look at the setup, make sure it looked good and do some rehearsals for the ceremony, dance, performances etc. And honestly that was much needed, we're so thankful to Oasis management for that! The wedding day - it was an evening event, and as expected everything was setup a few hours in advance, the place looked and smelled beautiful and flowery. The event started off with our ceremony at 6:30 pm, followed by cake cutting, champagne pop, performances, toasting and DJ. Needless to say we had a plethora of mouth watering hot appetizers and dinner ready in time. All the staff including the organizers, helpers, bartenders and servers were excellent and super helpful. Every time we needed something, someone was at our service. Overall, the event was a huge success and everyone enjoyed to the core and went back with a lot of happiness and memories. Oasis also provided us recommendations for the Bartender, DJ and the photographer, we went with them and they were excellent. They kept the guests engaged at all times, provided the kind of entertainment we were looking for and kept our guests smiling all throughout. Special thanks to Nirav again, without him this wouldn't have worked out the way we wanted! I booked Oasis Palace for my Engagement party in May. Nirav was really supportive in setting up the place based on our ideas. He had ideas of how to decorate the backdrop, welcome table and even the seating as per the occasion. The food was really good especially the kulfi and custard. Reviewing as a guest: The pros: the venue is very nice. They are well lighted and very larger. There were three parties but no guests ever got in the way of the others. There is also very good potential for decorations. The desserts were all good. There was gajar ka halwa, gulab jamun, fruit custard and kulfi faluda. The cons: I'll start with the food. It was really bad with the exception of the desserts. And... it made my wife and daughter, both sick with upset stomach (diarrhea and vomiting) the morning after on 1/27/19. Both had food at the Oasis last night. There were 5 appetizers. Three of them were fried and all three were undercooked the hara-bhara kabobs had to be sent back to the kitchen so they can cook them properly. The main course had butter chicken, goat meat, kadhi, shahi paneer, daal makhni, tava sabzi, rice and naan. Butter chicken was bad, meaning the chicken was old. That is the best way I can describe it. Inedible. Goat meat was okay. The standard stuff you get in Indian restaurants. Daal makhani was okay and eatable. Tawa sabzi had 5-6 different vegetables and they all looked raw. I took the karela and okra. One bite of the karela and it was obvious that it had just been boiled and put on to the tawa because they didn't have enough time to cook it??? The okra was the same. Both were inedible. I didn't try the kadhi and the paneer. My wife did and according to her, the pakoras in the kadhi were very hard and the paneer was too sweet. Safety: during the course of a few hours, 3 cars were broken in to. I think the venue has the responsibility to have adequate security that patrols the parking lot if you are going to be holding 3 big events at the same time. There was one security guard who was indoors. I feel bad because the place must have been expensive to rent with food and everything. But, business that cut corners like this are basically immoral in my opinion. read more

We hosted our Baby shower event here and we had a great time right from decoration to food to music system to services. Had first meeting with Nick and he was kind & generous enough to walk us through different options we had in terms of halls/packages available. He toured us through different halls showing what is offered (lighting, chairs, tables, chandeliers, etc.) He didn't rush us to make any decisions. We gave a thought and came back a day or two later to confirm the event. He is very responsive and provides detailed info on anything you ask for. He also offered us to do food tasting as we haven't had any experience for food at this place. (We loved the food!) Once the event was confirmed, he suggested us to contact Nirav for all the things from that point. Nirav is an excellent event manager - he takes care of everything from decoration to food to schedule on the day of event. Nirav was very easy to work with - just one call away to answer any questions or providing any info. We met him a few times to discuss the layout, food options, decoration specifics, etc. He also suggested his own ideas to make the event better (never pushed us). He's very flexible in terms of any changes along the way. He called us the evening before the event and told us that the decoration is ready, we can go over and add our little things related to the event so on the day of event, we don't have to come early (and can enjoy the event without any last min things). He will go out of way to accommodate any requests and help you plan the event the way you wanted to. His motto is 'a happy customer implies successful event'. 5-star for him and his team. Decorations were beyond our expectations, food quality and quantity was nice (we had Indian vegetarian food). Sound system quality was good for dance performances. Service staff was great as well - courteous and prompt. Thanks to Mike as well for helping when needed. Came here for our wedding reception this past weekend, and we were a little hesitant on proceeding with them. We spoke to about 4 different DJs and they all told us there have been noise complaints in the past. Despite this we still took Mike's word, he said they renovated and noise isn't an issue anymore, and proceeded. EVERYTHING about our reception went phenomenal! The decor was all done in house by Nirav, who did an awesome job! We have a great experience here and so did ALL of our guests. Nirav definitely went above and beyond to make our special night really special. I would highly recommend Oasis Palace to everyone!
