Here for a convention at Mandalay Bay. I felt the need to enhance my tan. This pool had everything I was looking for - cool water, bucket of beers, sun, and good music. I felt safe with the number of lifeguards as I was in the 3 foot water section. Getting here early allowed us to place our stuff under a chair. Sun was warm and my tan looked good. Bonus points for the baby changing station in the men's room! I will return if staying in the area. Respectfully, Bryan Moore Oklahoma

Clean. Not too crowded. Britney server was friendly. Good food and drinks. But the music... oh it was bad. Techno noise. How about just some basic 70-90 best hits. But this no name band tench nonsense is what ultimately made me want to leave. It was loud. Can't even dance to it or enjoy listening. My reason for the three stars.

I was really disappointed this time. One of the pools were closed for remodeling. They only had one server who was supporting everyone, so this meant you had to walk up and wait in line for a drink. Maybe this was due to covid, but it doesn't make sense. One bar only offered limited drinks, but this wasn't obvious from the outside. They were also serving flat soda water from a dispenser that had been sitting for hours. I can buy bottles of soda water at Walmart for $.50. There is a better way. They also didn't have tap water. Not was there a water dispenser anywhere by the pool area. I really wanted lunch, but the pool menu was lacking. It was more aligned with a bad snack bar instead of a Vegas resort. I would of been happy with a turkey wrap or chicken sandwich. There is a Starbucks truck on site serving a limited menu of drinks and food. I didn't see any pool attendants around. It was common for guests to leave and leave their old towels on the chairs. No one came by to pick them up, straighten chairs, pick up trash, etc. I will say I went to the gay pool party at the Luxor a couple years ago and had a wonderful experience. So maybe this was a one off due to covid.

Paid area...general is at max capacity!!

The general area fills up fast and a lot of people save chairs which is understandable. We opted to pay the extra $10 to sit in the reserved pool area but that still only guaranteed the white chairs which did not have shade or an umbrella. Bummer that the entire pool is 3+ feet tall but I guess it prevents people from trying to actually swim or move around to a different part. The $16 giant bloody was nice and refreshing and the refill option for $11(?) was a great deal. I also liked that it was pretty empty so you could play with the water basketball & shoot hoops in the pool. Just be sure not to sit under / behind the hoop! p.s. I'm a little grossed out that the clean towels are just in a large bin and come out unfolded. It really makes no difference...but it feels like it is less clean when the employee pulls one out of the bin & they are not pre-folded.

Luxor advertises having four pool areas, but only two were open when we went on 04/21. My bag was searched on arrival, although nobody objected to us bringing in the drinks (in plastic cups) we purchased at the lobby bar. The water was definitely on the colder side/not warm enough for me to swim. The hot tub was packed. Unless you're paying to upgrade your seating, expect to sit in the direct sun. The vibe was pretty calm (I'm not a fan of party pools), I'm sure it helped that we were there on a Thursday. The Egyptian décor is fun and unique. There were no seats available next to each other. I attempted to move a lounge chair near mine and the lifeguard blew her whistle at me--apparently the chairs are numbered. I can understand that, however guests leave their towels and empty containers throughout the day and nobody comes by to remove them. There's no way of knowing which chairs were actually occupied and which were abandoned. This makes it very difficult to find a place to sit, especially later in the day. My experience here wasn't much different than other pools at budget-friendly properties. Overall kind of lackluster, not bad but not great.

Got in on the locals special, which is $15 a pop. Pros- - Still some remnants left of the Egyptian theme. Very cool. - Plenty of area and space available to move around. I arrived just before noon and still managed to snag a chair. - I believe there are at least 4 pools and at least 2 jacuzzis available. - plenty of attractive cocktail waitresses walking around taking drink orders - large blue complimentary towels provided - they have a bar and snack bar available for your touristy needs lol - they actually have 2 water fountains there if you really wanna cheap out Cons- - the day I was there about 1/2 to 3/4 of the pools were chained off and unavailable. Why? Would have been so nice to have those areas open. - limited number of chairs, so get there by 10 am or so if you can help it.. - jacuzzi wasnt very hot and jet stream was pretty weak....maybe its just me.. other tidbits.. - a 16 ounce beer (Bud products) will set you back about $8 a pop plus tax, souvenir cups with the fruity drinks run $22 plus tax - as far as eye candy it really depends on what you like to look at..lol..saw an eclectic mix of young and old, big and small, and everything in between.. I had fun here today, and as a local, would definitely come back to enjoy this area again.. its A-OK! 3 stars.

I came to Oasis to meet up with some out of town friends who were staying at the Luxor during a holiday weekend so the pool area was PACKED. Luckily the pool is set up with a bunch of smaller pools so there was plenty of room to swim around and cool off. The line for the snack bar was outrageous and I rarely saw any waitresses walking around to take orders. There were attendants who cleaned up the area during the 2 hours that I was there. Each pool had a lifeguard and they blew their whistles often so their awareness of pool safety was apparent. The water itself was very cold for late August which was great and it was fairly clean. I didn't see any floating debris which is a good thing. :) There were plenty of towels and comfy lounge chairs. As a local, I may consider paying the entrance fee to come and cool off.

My now husband and I, had many of our wedding guests stay at the Luxor. The day after our wedding we rented two cabanas, glad we did as seating was limited in the general area since the other pool was closed. Miguel and Carlos, attending our cabanas were on point, always having our drinks stocked. The tvs were a bit grainy but that wasn't our main focus. We were into our conversation, people watching and listening to our own music. The jacuzzi was not warm at all, huge bummer. It'd be nice for some achy muscles from walking the strip. The drinks were a bit pricy, but it is Vegas. It's a big mix of people. Overall, great experience. The security guard was also attentive and not the cocky bouncer type you see at the higher end pools at other Vegas resorts.

What if Todd was one of us?

In short, multi-pool complex (like most of the other hotels) but this one is a little smaller. I feel like this pool area had a bunch more kids and people who aren't capable of walking to a trash can, as well. The Sunday event with the DJ is just a small pop up tent with a top 40 - no big names. So if you used google (like me) and got info about a Sunday Temptatiom event at Oasis... don't even bother. If you're truely looking to relax though from an exciting weekend... it's not that bad of a pool. As soon as you go through the room key/towel check just walk straight back - past the "main" pool and off to the second pool that has the tall water fountain pilar looking things. There seemed to be less kids back in that area and more of folks nursing their hangovers. If you are looking for a crazy party though... find another pool. Perhaps Wet Republic across the street?

Pools. There are lots of wonderful pools here and jacuzzi. Having the largest pool closed on a Saturday in June is crazy. Throughout the day starting at 9am we asked when the largest pool would be open. We got multiple answers from staff between 12-1230ish. So we set up our chairs there in the wonderful sunlight. At about 1245 we asked again and were told that the pool was not going to open. . At 9am we had our pick of chairs. At 1245 there were little to no chairs available. So I understand that poolside service is rough but this was horrible. Either you have lots of servers with one bar or lots of bars. Here there was one bar with little service. You could either stand in line for 30 minutes or wait three hours for your server. The pool was clean and comfortable, however they amount of space in the opened pools was not

What's not to like about being at the pool and having a great view! It was very relaxing. The staff are friendly and attentive. Thanks for a great experience!

While it's at the far end of the strip just past Resort's World, it's not too far from downtown Vegas so it works out nicely if you plan to spend time in both areas. Although we didn't make use of them, the nearby monorail takes you to the center strip and the Tesla Tunnel can get you over to the Wynn which saves you about 20-25 minutes of walking. Parking is free as long as you sign up for their free rewards program. The resort itself is gorgeous and you could truly just spend your time in Vegas here without going to other resorts. My main requirement when searching for a hotel was a nice pool, as I wanted to lay out and enjoy the Vegas heat. Including the dayclub Liv, there are 7 pools here. 3 massive pools make up the majority of the area, with 2 adults only pools and one smaller pool tucked away. There's a bar in the center and waitresses that come around to take your food and drink orders. The chairs did get packed but we were always able to find 2 seats together. Don't always expect to be able to get an umbrella though. Upon checking in, the front desk staff was so friendly. The woman who checked me in, I believe her name was Gabby, made me feel extra special because I was visiting for my birthday. Everything about the decor of this hotel is high end. They have some amazing restaurants as well as a food court. I wish the food court had a few more casual options, but we opted for a chicken sandwich that was pretty delicious. We stayed in a Noble Suite which was extremely spacious with a full living room, bar area, large restroom, second smaller bathroom, and comfortable bed. We had a stunning view overlooking the strip, Sphere and pool and each element of the room felt luxurious. Keep an eye out for when they offer deals, because you can grab some pretty good rates.

Fontainebleau Las Vegas is technically on the Strip, but it does not feel like it at all, and that is exactly why I would absolutely stay here. It is quieter, cleaner, newer, and far less chaotic than the core Strip hotels. You do not get that constant overload of noise and traffic, and the entire property feels more controlled and elevated. It almost feels like it sits off the Strip even though it does not, which is a major advantage. The high end shops are a nice touch, although realistically most people are not walking in there to spend money, especially at places like Rick Owens. The food options, however, are surprisingly reasonable for a hotel of this level, with plenty of choices, and LIV is a strong draw since it is one of the top clubs in Las Vegas right now. This Fontainebleau does not feel anything like the Miami version, but if you are craving that energy you can always grab a slice at Miami Slice and call it a day. Room pricing is more approachable than expected, with nights ranging roughly from $120 to $300 depending on timing. Just keep in mind the resort fee runs about $62 per night, so a $120 room is really closer to $180 all in, which is still a very solid value for a newer luxury hotel in Las Vegas. My number one is still the Wynn, but this comes in strong at number two without question.

I just wrapped up my first stay at the M Resort, and I'm already looking forward to coming back!…read moreI've walked through this place a few times before and had high hopes--happy to say it lived up to my expectations. First Impressions: The hotel has one of the best scents in Vegas; if you know, you know. Whatever they're using in the vents, paired with their designated smoking areas, really keeps the air noticeably fresher than most other casino hotels. Check-In & Service: Big shoutout to Kim at the front desk for such a warm welcome. She gave us a choice between a room close to the elevator or midway down the hall, and advised going with the latter since the hotel was hosting a cheer convention (i.e., excited kids everywhere!). Her advice was spot on and her customer service was top notch. Truly a fantastic way to start our weekend. Room: Our room was gorgeous: spacious, super clean, and well maintained. We had a great pool view, loved the privacy door for the toilet, and the stone-walled shower with a bench was a nice upgrade. There was also a large soaking tub with a clear view into the bedroom, a desk, and a separate seating area with two ridiculously comfy leather chairs. Pool & Amenities: After unpacking, we went straight to the pool. The main area has two large pools separated by a walkway and cabanas, with two jacuzzis at the end near a huge outdoor screen. There's also a day club if you're looking for a party vibe, complete with its own bar, pool, cabanas, and a live DJ. We enjoyed relaxing in the sun and loved the easy access to drinks from the mid-bar or roaming servers (didn't get a chance to try the food this time, but maybe next visit!). Parking & Fees: There is plenty of parking available in the lots, which makes coming and going a breeze. A $40 or $50 daily resort fee does apply, but that's pretty typical these days and didn't feel out of the ordinary. Final Thoughts: Every detail, from the clean air to the thoughtful service and beautiful property, made this a memorable stay. M Resort is definitely a notch above most Vegas hotels. Highly recommend, and can't wait to come back!

Of course, this being the Waldorf Astoria there are aspects of customer service you expect to find here that goes beyond other hotels. It is very easy to reschedule a time for them to come back and may not be needed since they clean your room everyday. I mentioned to the front desk that I needed something and from the time I spoke with the front desk to going to our room on the 17th floor it was already in the valet door. A good stay but there were a few attention to detail aspects that could be worked on. I noticed there was a significant accumulation of dust at one of the vents. Also masking tape was used to keep the shower door sweep in place. Not something you would expect to see in the flagship brand within the Hilton Worldwide portfolio.

The beverage service is good, but coverage/timing could be improved. I feel like some parts of the casino floor do not get as much service. They also have a great variety of food and restaurant options for all budgets. My personal favorite here is Estiatorio Milos. A close second would be SushiSamba. However, I have never had a bad meal here. I also recommend Sugarcane, Chica, Cote, and Smith/Wollensky. I still want to try the other options here! Overall great place to stay or check out. PROS: *stayed in a spacious 24th fl. pad with spectacular views of the (brief) fireworks display one night...and the bed was just fine for a post weed 'n booze sleep-off, thankya'verymuch! *many employees - especially those lowest in the caste system - were very friendly. Housekeepers were great. *other Wynn workers (e.g., food/booze servers) were usually good and reasonably personable. *Wing Lei (Chinese Michelin-1 joint) had top-tier service and although we could only sample a small number of dishes, they were all copacetic. *due to last-minute vacancies, the Wynn upgraded us from a $400/night room to a suite that ordinarily sets big-spenders back to the tune of $1,150/night. *Great friggin' ice machine - on my floor - never let me down when flask-time came around! CONS: *the Wynn, even at their extant "nosebleed" rack rates, will effin' nickel 'n dime ya' (*coins on steroids) every gol-durn chance they get: -NO refrigerator in the room unless you want to rent one for $25 a night. (Yep- let's make it hard for guests to bring their own, reasonably-priced booze. And leftovers from "market price" (i.e., "mark-it-up") menu pickin's at various and sundry Vegas kitchens? Meet Sal: Monella! *The pool situation is absurd and offensive: Not only can't you escape the aural pollution that pervades the whole property (more on that later)...but it's actually hard) to find an unoccupied (and unreserved) chaise lounge. -I got KICKED OFF one because it was "reserved"....NO SIGN...NO ONE "claiming it"... *Gotta pay EXTRA for even a G-D pool chair - Hell, $500. $1,000, $1,500 a night - AIN'T ENOUGH! *Booze prices are beyond absurd! Paid $15 or so for a "pour" of ordinary Tito's vodka. Needed an ELECTRON MICROSCOPE to see the likker! (But I only did it once, as my flasks of Toki and Pikesville and a Hamm's 12'er...took care of me.) *The bellhops move at a comatose pace, and when we arrived, we were informed that there'd be a "slight delay" of 45 minutes in bringing up our bags. After an HOUR had passed, we just took the G-D things ourselves. Yeah - now ain't THAT first-class service! *The concierge on duty was a dullard and a do-nothing doofus who couldn't do "jack" for us. Needs a job at the 'Boreyard by Mary Ott.' *NO smoking allowed at the OTB (Sportsbook area) Huh??? Effin' VEGAS and I can't even smoke a good cigar (or even a bad one) while play the races? S-H-I-I-T-E!!! **GOONS everywhere -had to use my key just to take the elevator to my floor, and had to withstand the glaring imprimatur of "security" people every time. (My favorite guy, who appears to have been either a "Blood" or a "Crip,"...received the moniker...'SMILEY!' -Although I wouldn't consider buying the wildly marked-up "luxury" goods peddled in the Wynn shops, I couldn't help but notice the scowling dorks in dark suits who stand outside the portals, arms folded. (No buddy - I ain't buyin' yer' lousy $50K watch; so shove it OK?) __________ Now, neighbor - are ya' ready for the veritable TOP-TWO reasons NOT to wander into the Wynn? 1) NONSTOP high-volume pop-schlock aural excrement THUMPING throughout the place. EVERYWHERE. Pay exorbitant room rates and then be subjected to lowest-common-denominator NOISE? WHO likes that garbage? ("effluencers?") -How about QUIET? -If that's not possible - how about actual MUSIC played at moderate levels? WHY must we endure moron-music and WHY were we not warned that it would be infesting the air? 2) EURO/MIDEAST TRASH guests swarming like maggots, pushing in front of you and invading your space without so much as an "EXCUSE ME!"... ...Mega-wealthy SCUM that shouldn't even be allowed in America - much less catered to by an ostensible "top class" hotel! Thank you for reading my words of timeless wisdom!

They offer a Nespresso coffee machine with pods we didn't use but maybe next time. Pool, chairs, umbrellas, and staff were better than other times we have stayed. Price $$$ is on the higher side. I will start by saying, I play here a lot, I played and lost $1500 last week and have a President's…read morecard, I eat here often and I have left reviews for each restaurant I have been to. I had free slot play all month but every time I came in, it wasn't there and I didn't have time to hang out and wait for the slot club to open so I left, today I came in the afternoon-no slot play on card. I approach the older dark haired slot host w/glasses.... I said I don't have free slot play and she runs the card, she says the pin was locked again (This is the 5th time in as many months) and I need to reset it. I said OK--done--please reset it again, that pin doesn't work--so I reset it again--OK done--Please reset it again, that pin doesn't work but I had a bad headache and I had already put my players club back in my wallet and really didn't hear her, she looked at me like, excuse me, I need your card... ok, fine, I was losing my patience but said OK--now what? Oh its reset, your free play will be on the card. I wait a bit and go try--NOTHING. So, I called the slot host--Now his name was something like Miladin (I really don't remember exactly how he spelled it) He spent 20 mins on the phone with IT to find out what is going on and he was very nice....He even said he put $30 dining credit on the card, I asked if I needed a Voucher to use it and he said, no, Just go to the restaurant and eat and hand them the card but I would have to go back to the slot lady to reset the pin one more time and get my free play so I did... She was not happy to see me again but is this my fault???? she acted like it was, her attitude was my issue but that wasn't even my breaking point, I told her what happened and she said I need you to reset your Pin, I handed her my Card but remember, I have a splitting headache and the room is kind of spinning--Migraines and she said something to me but I was like, huh? I NEED YOUR ID. OK OK....I said ok sorry, I have a bad headache, slow down--she rolled her eyes....wow, what the actual hell?? I am a good player, I am in there all of the time, what the hell?? why does my card have to be reset anyways? I have been playing at Palace Station my whole life in Vegas--Over 20 years and never ever did I need to go through this but fine, here is my ID She says, what restaurant do you want the $30 for? I was confused because the other guy said it would just be on there and she is asking me this and I said, I thought it was on there, she gets huffy and says, NO, WHY WOULD IT ALREADY BE THERE???? WELL EXCUSE ME FOR BREATHING. i AM SORRY I AM ALIVE, I AM SORRY I AM HAVING ISSUES AND YOU HAVE TO DO YOUR DAMNED JOB. OOPS MY BAD. SO I HANDED HER MY ID AND CARD--SHE DOES HER THING SUPPOSEDLY AND ADDS THE $30 TO THE CARD FOR LUCKY PENNY. I ASKED ABOUT MY FREE PLAY, OH THAT IS TAKEN CARE OF, GO TO THE MACHINE, ITS NOT THERE, NOTHING IS THERE, NOTHING IS THERE, IS THE $30 FOR LUCKY PENNY??? WE WILL SEE... I WALKED OFF AND LEFT MY ID THERE, MY BROTHER WHO WAS WITH ME WAS MAD, HE WAS TALKING TO HER WHILE I WAS OFF CALMING DOWN--THAT MY PIN SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BE RESENT 200 TIMES. I COME BACK AND SAID I WANT MY ID. I TOOK MY ID. HE ASKED IF THE $30 WAS ON THERE, SHE SAYS, I CAN'T CHECK THAT WITHOUT YOUR ID LIKE I AM DUMB OR SOMETHING--I SAID LADY, YOU ARE VERY RUDE, YOU NEED TO LEARN CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS, I AM TELLING YOU I SAID THIS, I AM NOT GOING TO LET ANYONE TALK DOWN TO ME ESPECIALLY WHEN I AM IN THE CASINO 2-3 TIMES A WEEK EATING, DRINKING (Though not today, I have a headache) AND PLAYING, I LITERALLY LOSE $2000 A MONTH IN THERE--SOMETIMES MORE, SOMETIMES I WIN WHICH IS GREAT BUT NOW I DON'T EVEN KNOW MY PIN, SHE RESET IT 4 TIMES.... I am never going to go back to slot club again. ever. She never apologized, she could see i was angry, she was told that I had a headache, she knew I was upset about the free play which by the way she was unable to give back to me and never fixed and she just stood there looking all bothered. I will be back to eat--see if the $30 made the card, I am coming to Borracha's this weekend to eat, I love the food, I love the machines but If I have to go back to reset my pin or talk to her or see her ever again, I will throw my card in the trash, she is so ruuuuuude!!!!!
