This has always been my favorite gas station stop at on our roadtrips through Kansas because it's so much more than just a gas station! We took advantage of the dog park so our girl Daisy could get much needed exercise in a safe gated area and use the bathroom! They have so many gas pumps you never have to wait long! The bathrooms are so clean and felt more private than most! They have 2 fast food restaurants to choose from and a Starbucks! Including all the gas stations snacks you need! We didn't eat lunch here but we grabbed some snacks and drinks for the drive! I highly recommend this place and adding this stop in your trip! read more

Best rest stop in the area by far. And the decor? That screams five star vibes for sure. Loads of parking. Wide gas pump lanes. Numerous food and drink options. Clean bathrooms. Dog park, also themed adjacent! What more could you want. My last trip through here they were undergoing some renovations to update the food court area so maybe on return this will be a six star establishment? Starbucks. Separate but also connected through the building as well as Chinese and a Mexican spot. Gift shop for various trinkets commemorating your scenic drive through Kansas. Spacious bathrooms. The usual gas station essentials, car trip board games, and convenience store snacks/sodas/waters/juices can also be found. The one time I did buy a Gatorade and coffee checkout was prompt and friendly. Not cheers friendly but as much interaction as I want driving Denver to St. Louis wanting to stop as little as possible. Hot drinks are available but you also have the adjacent Starbucks as well as food options if gas station fare isn't your favourite. Now let's talk about the dog park. Can we talk about the dog park please? I've been dying to talk about the dog park with you all review okay. Not only is it exceptionally chill for photos. It's spaced out by sweet palm trees and various fun jungle animals. You have two sections for dogs, one low energy or small and one for high energy or large pups. Lots of grass and a few obstacles to stretch those legs after many many highway miles. The parking lot also has several grassy area to walk and let your pet relieve themselves if fenced in areas are not their jam. *EXIT 53 ON I-70 IN WEST KANSAS* Oasis Travel Center's claim to fame is its dog park. Wait, for real? Yep, they have a fenced in dog park for both large and small dogs. This will always be a must stop for us when we have the pups in tow for cross country road trips. Even if you're not traveling with your four-legged friends, this is still a great one-stop-shop for hoomans. Starbucks, Qdoba, a Chinese place, kids playground, Tesla-charging stations, clean bathrooms, etc. The problem really isn't the fault of the business, but damn this place gets REAL packed. Obviously it can't Hulk itself and double in size at the drop of a hat. Sometimes the lines for gas are excruciatingly long. So, if you're pressed for time to or from your destination, keep in mind Oasis is THE be-all-end-all truck stop of Kansas. Odds are it will be crowded and rightfully so. The dog park is clutch. Such an amazing way for the dogs to run around in a safe environment and tire 'em out. Most of the owners are pretty friendly too. I mean, if you love your dog enough to take them to a truck stop dog park on a road trip, odds are you're pretty rad. But they can still do a better job picking up after their pups... I always look forward to stopping at the Oasis on my way out to Colorado. It is a good place to get a bite, some gas, and wander around a bit before getting back on the road. They also carry Jan's Pickles, which are amazing. They are mixed in with the Oasis branded pickles, but don't confuse them for the same thing. Go with the Jans. read more

I love this stop and glad I came. So happy they have a great playground and gated dog park. They have Starbucks, Qdoba, China Wok, the normal hot deli. They restroom was extraordinary clean and private. Showers are so so but free so I can't complain. Great gift shop! read more

This is actually Oasis Travel Center, Qdoba is one of the eateries inside along with another eatery and a Starbucks. When we arrived all those places inside were closed. The travel center though is open 24/7. The parking lot is huge allowing plenty of parking for not only 4 wheel vehicles but rows of semis too. Just inside the trucker entrance there's stairs to the left where you can go upstairs for showers, washers and dryers. The store is quite big. The carry all kinds of merchandise. You'd have to just stop in to check it all out. We got a couple of bacon cheeseburgers and drinks then spent the rest of our time looking at different items. According to other reviews there is an unleash dog park. It was nighttime when we arrived so I didn't see it. We did see that they have a Truck Service Center located in back. The whole place and its restrooms looked clean, the staff is nice and helpful. This is definitely a place we'd stop at again. read more

We drove between Colorado and Kansas often and I really like stopping at this travel center during the trip. They have a dog park, and actually seem to maintain it pretty well, so it's great for our pup. The bathrooms are large and clean, they have a wide variety of food options from actual restaurants as well as prepackaged snacks, and the service is been nice every time we've been. It also helps that they have many gas pumps, so we haven't experienced back-ups on that front, sven on busy travel days. read more

Wow - what a great travel plaza!! They have a small and large dog park with actual grass that's free of poo!! Also to mention, a wonderful children's play area! The restrooms were clean and the outside trash cans were being replaced with new liners. So many options for eats and treats! It has a city wok, a Qdoba, a Starbucks, gas station, a playground and dog park...good spot to stop for people making that insanely boring drive across Kansas. This is a huge travel center along I-70 in Colby, Kansas. They have hot food from Qdoba, cold fresh sandwiches, , a Starbucks, lots of Kansas memorabilia like cups, magnets, and tons more like a pretty comprehensive auto parts supply. I always appreciate the hot food, Starbucks, and the clean, large bathrooms. If you have a Tesla, they have several charging stations for your convenience. Enjoy! read more

Found this place on accident!! This place is AWESOME!! there's a kid park, small and large dog park/off leash area, Starbucks, Qdoba food, gas, clean bathrooms, and a travel center!! My Service Dog gives the park area 4paws! We coukdnt figure out how to work the water pump, so I suggest bringing your own water. But hey, we got some caffeine and she got to run her heart out with some new friends. The kids park is great, a play structure, grass and it's fenced in too. Great picnic area. For fuel, run to Dillons on the other side of the highway. The gas is 12 cents cheaper. Sodas are pricey for a gas station. Service is meh. Staff are (and this is after years of trying) is pretty meh. read more

While traveling I don't like to feel like I've gotten off on an exit straight into the twilight zone. This place fulfilled all my req's. Clean bathrooms being numero uno. There's nothing worse than having to use filthy facilities after hours on the road! For my fill up, I was able to get a gas pump right away, though it was a bit slow filling the tank. I can see how this place could get crowded. But after pumping your gas there are numerous choices inside for food, treats, coffee fix, etc. Even healthy options for fresh fruit/veggies, salads, cheese & nuts. And for the not-so-healthy, they even have a cute little taffy station. Good thing it was still early morning or I may have been tempted!! read more

I've stopped at this travel center for more than a decade, and they've continued to add more things like Starbucks, Qdoba, etc. I love how clean the restrooms are, areas for my dogs, and gas prices way better than Colorado, BUT BEWARE if you are buying an item in the travel center area. I was there 11.6.22 after 9 p.m., and all the other customers had just left. I was the only one in the store besides the two running the place. The older man and woman ignored me as I waited on them to let me buy an item. They were punching away at a calculator adding something up and ignoring me. After several minutes of this, I asked if I could check out. The cash register where she led me to check out was already open. The woman rang up my $2.49 item, and said the total was over $4! I said it must've been incorrectly marked, brought back and Item clearly marked for $3.89. She scanned it, then pressed a bunch of buttons, saying my total was "$5 even!" I asked her how tax in ANY state could be that much, that there must be some mistake. I pointed out where the price tag was marked. She was very rude, and asked if I wanted it at that price or not. I said I did not. BEWARE I THINK THE PEOPLE CHECKING US OUT ARE LYING AND CHARGING MORE THAN YOUR ONE ITEM. She was either lying about the total, or she rang up more than one item to get the total that high. I've never had any problems with getting gas there or going to Starbucks, but watch out if you try to buy items there bc they are dishonest and counting on customers being too distracted and tired to realize they're being scammed. read more

In lonely little Colby, Kansas sits this amazing travel plaza that suits the needs of your casual road tripper, your dusty local and the truck driving pro! This large facility has everything you need from a Starbucks, to a dozen or more fuel isles, 2 fast food joints, a set of dog parks, one for big dogs and one for little dogs and a play ground for the kiddos! They have gifts, snacks, local honey, more drink and coffee options than you'll ever need and it's all in one giant building on a huge lot with tons of parking. The only draw back I could find is the bathrooms are accommodating but don't have many seats for as large as the facility is. This truly is an "Oasis" and the people running this place have done it right. The people working here are friendly, it's mostly clean and they have tons of options and places to let the kids and pets play. Any time I travel I-70 I make it a point to stop here! This truck stop isn't like all other truck stops in Kansas. For starters, there are palm trees out front. Giant, metal palm trees, but palm trees nonetheless. Also? As was recently discovered, they now also have a fancy schmancy billboard located at the Colby exit (as seen above) showing Jesus in a wheat field. Luckily, this billboard has the picture printed on both the East and West sides, so you can catch it coming AND going. Couple things regarding the wares and food inside - you have a scaled down version of Stuckey's in there, and a Baskin Robbins, AND the only Starbucks you're going to find on I-70 between Denver and Topeka. Sure, the gas prices are hiked a bit since it's a (and I use this phrase really loosely) popular stopping point, but hey! The palm trees and, you know, Jesus, they more than make up for it. Negative points because there's an RV sewage dump WAY too close to the little playground outside. Ew. read more

This Petro does not accept Ultra Credits. You can still print them off from the kiosk; however they will not honor their own rewards program. The response below from the purveyor shows how little they care. Their response fails to address the complaint. As for what you can do to communicate your policy: POST A SIGN ON THE ULTRA ONE KIOSK STATING YOUR POLICY. That would be better than not communicating the policy at all. To be clear, it is the policy and not your ability to communicate it that is 80% of the problem. But no worries, I didn't fuel here on my way into Denver as I had planned. I would agree, this is one of the better places to stop from the Colorado border to at least Salina (via I70). If you have pets and kids, plenty to keep everyone busy. With Qdoba "Mexican" Grill and Starbucks as well as normal truck stop fare everyone even the dog should find something to agree on. Even though many folks don't pick up after their dog, the staff does a great job picking up after everyone and it is really clean. Even though most people leave their car at the pumps and go shopping, I have never had to wait for a pump. There is always window washing fluid with the squeegees and the pump area is clean. If the family needs a break, do it at the Oasis. read more

Best travel plaza ever (@ least in Kansas). This stop has a Quiznos, qdoba, & Starbucks so a little of everything for the picky people in your car. After eating you can browse through their aisles of truck stop swag (Kansas everything, clothing if you're into rhinestone bling, books & mags to make your roadtrip more tolerable). This place really is a rest stop w/ a playground area for your kids to release pent up car energy, a fenced dog park separated by big & small dogs for your fur babies to stretch & sniff, & covered picnic tables if you opt to pack your own food. There's ample fuel lanes though it gets crowded, but you don't end up waiting too long. Will definitely make this a stopping point anytime I'm driving through this boring state to colo (sorry Kansas, but you're kinda lame). read more

Great place for stopping while traveling. There is a fenced in dog park. One side for small and one for large. Fenced in play area for human children as well. The title "Oasis" is the perfect description of this location. Petro Oasis is a godsend in the middle of Kansas. The facilities are clean and well kept. They have a dog/Pet park for those that have fur-babies to let loose. Additionally, right next to the dog park is a playground for our little humans to play around. For the adults, a few step away is a Starbucks, Quizno Subs and Qdoba restaurants. The rest stop's gas price is a little higher (average 5-10 cents/gal) than other gas stations that are nearby, however, the stop is worth the price difference. Not only will your olfactory nerves (sense of smell) thank you but so will your bladder, eyes, and mind. Stop by this place if the opportunity presents itself... I know I sure will make it a "must" if I'm traveling on I70! read more
