I found a couple of packs of hair that would do the job, but there were no price tags. I asked the woman at the register to check the price and she scanned them both, an 18" and 22" pack. In the same brand in the same line, the 18" inch rang up as $49.99, and the 22" rang up with a very different description and at $99.95. I asked the woman at the register if she could double check the price of the 22" pack, because 4 additional inches doesn't usually double the price and the description was off. She came back and said the manager told her that the prices in the system were wrong, and that the 18" were $79.99 and 22" were $120. I was pretty shocked that my questionable $150 purchase had just been raised to $200 after price checking the original prices in the system. I asked to speak with her, and she came up and was insistent that these new prices were correct, with zero apology for the increase or for their apparent error in loading the prices in their POS system. I told her that if I hadn't asked about the 22" price, I could've just paid the amount on the register and been done, and she said no, the woman at the register would have known something was wrong and gotten the manager anyway. Ummm... that's now what was happening. The woman at the register was very gracious about it all, the manager... notsomuch. Next time I'll have to allow more time to order from somewhere else where the prices for the 18" are $40-$60 and the 22" are $60-$80.

I wanted some coloring books and knew from raising my girls they would have them. Much to my surprise I ended up browsing because they had so much good stuff. Well organized and well lit. It was worth the drive from Denver. The cashier was pleasant and there was ample flat parking. I bought school supplies to donate and may go back as they had great prices and selection of items.

Commerce City Colorado Store: this is concerning the bringing in of backpacks: I am 58years of age…read moreand ill start by saying Ive not been a thief and i cant stand a thief: Next I find this policy discriminatory. Never have is seen the women or shoppers with thier own take home shopping bags to be left on the dirty floor by the doors. Now to my recent issue on 2/10/2026, I went in with my bag and heard someone saying sir leave you bag and take off the backpack. I took a cart and kept shopping and got in line. This short heavyset hispanic woman with purple hair then walked up to me and began a debate with me in the presence of about 15 other shoppers. and waited with me all the way to check out. as we got to check out she told the clerck not to scan my items and was refusing service. Is this how Dollar General treats law abiding and paying customers? Not only did i walk to the store in the cold, now I had to walk home in the cold and humiliated at YOUR Store. I hope that the management from the top down sees this email. I hope that you take the appropriate action and terminate this woman and that by doing so you tell me and the shoppers that you dont tolerate this kind of treatment to your shoppers. Remember, its the shoppers that keep you in operation and not the the ones you pay. I would also recommend that you revise this egregious policy: I can understand with a group of kids coming into a store to set backpacks on a clean table: But for adults who rely on public transportation or walking, and the elderly dont treat us like criminals please. Dont have no employee try and prove a point by disrespecting the shoppers. Please advise me on the actions you are going to take:
