Like everyone else says the pizza is seriously overpriced. $11 for a10inch and average $20 for a large (before taxes). I live in the boonies and didn't want Dominos so I gave it a shot. Food was overpriced but great. An original Greek flare to an Italian pizza joint, including the gyro meat and kalamata olives. The Tzatziki sauce is really good. The pita bread sticks were good to have experienced once.... The good part was the tzatziki sauce, which can be obtained separately. They have no menus available for you to look at or take with you, but they are taped to the wall in more than one location and available online and through a QR code. If you order an extra topping or 5 on your pizza you will pay for each and every one even if you cannot actually find it on your pizza when you get it.... No refunds if they are out of artichokes, and kalamata olives might be substituted for ripe black olives unexpectedly and without notice, so you may not end up with the flavor profile that you envisioned in your head when you ordered, still good, but not what you thought you were paying for.... Maybe I was asking too much of the 5+ teenagers working behind the counter, who seemed to want a tip for my takeout order. A couple of days later I tried to order s sandwhich online for pickup and the tip request was online for the $17.00 hoagie.... We enjoyed a tasty lunch here today: one personal captain pizza with moist crab and Old Bay laced with a kick of sriracha, and a make your own pizza with pepperoni. They were so good I got two more pizzas to go: the meaty Hercules with gyro meat, salami and meatballs, and for balance, a Mediterranean with savory sun dried tomatoes and mushrooms and three kinds of cheese. Mmmmm! The dining room was spacious and the service friendly. My only dilemma is what to try next time! read more

Obo in Indian Head and Waldorf are great. The food is great. I especially love their wings. They are bake. Never fried. Cooked well done. I also love their chef salad. Each salad is made individually. You can tell them is you don't want items like green peppers and onions in it. My brother loves their calzone. It is huge. I love their pizza too. This is my least favorite place to go in the area. I've gone there in the past and a decent experience. However, I regret ever dialing the number and placing an order. My sub was undercooked and my pizza toppings were all over the box when it arrived. Maybe because I had it delivered? For $30 I expected my food to be good. It was not. The food is delicious especially the pizza and calzones. I love the fact that they deliver. The only downside is that in order to get delivery, you have to order a certain dollar amount which can be excessive for a single person. However, I will not let that stop me from ordering delivery when I want this food. The convenience and the delicious food outweighs that. read more

Not even really so/so. Weak crust. Not much flavor in the sauce or the toppings. Here at 830 on a Friday. Closing time says 10pm. Sodas are flat. Thx for the warning. Salads. Already cleaned up and put away. They'll make one for me if I really want one. And with prices like this you would expect a wait staff and real knives and forks. And no paper plates. Or Solo cups. Great brick oven pizza! Amazed that there is such a great place at the "beginning" of Indian Head Highway (210). Worth the drive from Charles and Southern Prince George's Counties. Go for one of their specialty pizzas. I recommend the Dionysus! read more

I have had many salads from OBO's before and they were very tasty. Today my coworkers and I were trying to figure out what we wanted for lunch since the microwave was broken. Someone said pizza from OBO's. We all ordered personal pizza and I ordered the Tonae Tononi which has pepperoni, spinach, basil and mozzarella cheese. OMG this was sooooo good and it was my first time ordering anything except Pepperoni, Sausage, and Pineapple pizza. This pizza is really good! read more

OBO's is simply delicious. Tried it when I moved down on base with my husband and I loved it. If you are close and looking for some great pizza definitely give it a try! You'll be disappointed if you skip out and choose the big chains like Dominos or Pizza Hut instead. read more

Well that was disappointing. After all of the great reviews I was looking forward to an amazing wood fired pizza. Husband and I ordered a large specialty pizza (pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, and onions). The pizza came out hot. The bottom was a little dark but not bad. The center was not completely cooked. Customer service is also not the best. We had to hunt for plates and utensils. I think if they can improve their consistency and focus on the customer they will do well. read more

I used to support this place but after today I do not. We ordered pizza with a salad. My sister went to get the order and said the girl was being very unprofessional as if my sister interrupted her. The girl asked for her name and asked if she ordered a sub. She said no, but you would know if you actually looked at the order. She rushed my sister off, did give her a receipt and when my sister got home we were missing the salad dressing and the extra dressing we paid for. We asked if it could be brought to us and they said no. I said if we come back up there I want something off because I should have what I paid for. She she would give me $0.60. As a business when you're not being professional and you inconvenienced your customers you are supposed to do whatever it takes to right there wrong that was caused by your business not by your customer. At the end of the day she would've done better to just refund $5 for the Inconvenience of driving back up there but to only offer me $.60 for the dressing that I pay for was unacceptable. The pizza is very good but at the end of the day I can't support a business that doesn't value their customers and not right their wrongs. And for a small business customers is what makes you successful and from the looks of these comments they're losing a lot of customers really quick off of their business practices. read more

Our family dined in at Obo pizza this evening for the first time and it was awesome! The pizza is hand spun, topped with fresh ingredients, and fired in a brick oven! It was delicious! I loved their white sauce pizza with chicken and basil! The hospitality we received has been unmatched! I felt like I was back in the south when the man spinning the pizza invited my young son to come watch him, and the woman, who may be the owner, gave both of our children brownies free of charge. They offered a 50% discount for the duration of the government shut down and we ended up spending $20 on two large pizzas and drinks for our family! We were thankful for the generosity of Obos and loved the way they made us feel like family! They seemed thankful for our business and we will be repeat customers! read more

I am excited that there is a restaurant of its kind located in the Town. This will be the 2nd time I've order pizza from this restaurant. I find that their pizza are very good and I look forward to eating there again. I am unable to comment about the dinning in experience, but I have spoken to the owner and she brought it to my attention that they will be making some changes as the time goes on. Came here after biking the Indian head trail. I was skeptical, the town looked a bit rundown. The exterior looks like a house but it side it's really nice. The pizza was amazing they make the dough from scratch and use a wood fire brick oven. The owner was awesome he was friendly and super welcoming. I highly recommend this place. read more

Easily the best food in Indian Head. That in and of itself doesn't say much. But the food is generally pretty good. When they're on their game their pizza is stellar. From the dough to the cheese to the sauce, great flavor and texture. Sometimes they can undercook the dough a little. And sometimes their wraps show less care than others. Went for the first time today and I must say the pizza is ok. For me it wasn't amazing, but not bad either. I will say the ingredients are nice & fresh and yummy, just didn't give me that oooey gooey pizza feeling. The restaurant is very beautiful inside!!! While my order was carryout the place seems like a cool spot to have dinner at. The staff were polite, but could do more in the way of being friendly. We were thrilled to learn that a decent restaurant was opening in Indian Head. On opening day we ordered a pizza without meat. When we got home we realized it had meat on it. We figured they were busy on opening day and didn't remember our request. A few weeks later we ordered another pizza without meat. Once again, it came covered with meat. Third time is a charm, right? So, the third time we decided to eat at the restaurant to be sure we didn't get meat on our pizza. The pizza came out undercooked. I send it back to go into the oven. The guy was nice, he offered to cook another one for us, but I said he could put our pizza back into the oven. When it was returned it was still undercooked. I think the brick oven was too hot. It was not allowing the inside of the pizza to cook. So, the guy offered to cook a new pizza for us. The next pizza was burned (black) on the bottom and that's how they served it to us. They never came back to ask us how the new pizza was. While waiting for the pizza to cook, it was hard not to notice how dirty the place was. The room we were sitting in was similar to a sun room, with a painted ceiling. The corners, archway and ceiling fan were covered in dust and spider webs. The kind of spider webs that take years to build. The floor was very dirty as well. You could tell the place isn't cleaned daily or weekly for that matter. It's really too bad because the potential is there. I think the place just needs someone with attention to detail. Oh, and to turn down the heat in the brick oven, so the pizzas can cook completely! Sadly, the third time wasn't a charm for us. read more
