    Ham sandwich
    Katie F.

After driving a good 6 hours home to Colorado from Idaho, my husband and I found our tummies grumbling. Both craving a sandwich, we settled on Obo's (because Subway sucks) and were pleasantly surprised with our experience - here's why! ++ Obo's is both a meat market, deli and store all in one - offering everything your heart could desire. Fresh cuts of locally sourced steak? All yours! All the deli meat you could want? Come on over! The store offers a variety of artisan crafts, local trinkets and groceries too! Because were there for lunch, we opted for house made sandwiches in the deli. ++ The sandwich menu - although small - is awesome, with the option to build your own sandwich too. I settled on the Italian which was piled high with allllll the meats, cheese, hot peppers and drizzled with balsamic dressing on a massive house made bun, while my husband settled on the traditional ham sammie which was just as delicious! I was far too hungry to take a picture of mine, so a picture of my husbands will suffice! ++ Although more expensive, you get what you pay for. The quality of meat supersedes everything in the area, as they freshly cut the meat on the spot for each sandwich. YUM! +/- The service in the deli was pretty harsh. Although the women behind the counter were busy and made their way through the line of customers, they were NOT friendly. The woman who greeted us just starred our way and then said "what do you want!" with a frown on her face. We quickly ordered and got out of the way, which proved to be a good decision. Having worked in the service industry, I get being in the weeds, but being nice goes along way. - No one, I repeat, no staff members in the deli were wearing masks or abiding by any social distancing. Even most guests who were waiting in line to pay weren't wearing masks, which is bonkers to me. Only the cashiers wore masks and one made a polite comment to my husband and me as we were the only customers rocking them. Yikes! Despite the lack of COVID measures, I'd return for another bomb to-go sandwich at Obo's.

    Worst customer service in Pinedale

Upon review of my experience by upper management, I must say that they were beyond kind and felt horrible that I was not treated with the utmost respect. Based on their response, I will continue to go there and would encourage others to as well.

This place has the best snack selection !!

Upon arrival in Jacksonhole, we stopped by Creekside Market to grab sandwiches to go, which is about a 20 minute or so drive from the airport. Creekside Market is a small market in a strip mall next to Dairy Queen. It has all your basic food and fishing needs in addition to a deli and liquor market. The deli serves sandwiches, salads, soup, and breakfast burritos. For the deli sandwiches, you fill out a paper slip at the counter and they make it on the spot for you. We ordered three custom sandwiches- one turkey, one beef, and one meatball sub with varying veggies and cheese and all toasted. While the turkey and beef sandwiches were good, the MEATBALL SUB was the star of the show! It may have been the BEST sandwich I've ever had. It is stuffed with eight HUGE beef meatballs slathered in marinara sauce and gooey melted provolone cheese (the cheese pull was 10/10!). It was savory, juicy, peppery, and everything a good meatball sub should be- I can still imagine the taste today and am still drooling for it! I was full eating just half a sandwich and so I had plenty to share with my family members who agreed it was a top-tier sandwich. I would go back to Jacksonhole just for this sandwich!!! Service was fantastic and we got our food within 15-20 minutes after ordering, considering it was during the lunch hour rush. Sandwiches are anywhere between $11.50 a $18.50 for an 8" sandwich (or a little less if you want a 6" sandwich). Note that there is no seating and so takeout is really the only option here. The bathrooms and floors are clean. Overall: 5/5 for food, 5/5 for service, 5/5 for ambiance
