When I bought a condo, Concrete Care removed the cheap vinyl that the previous owner had put on the…read morefloor and replaced it with a gorgeous concrete floor. The work took 7 work days for ~500 square feet, and the whole process took ~2.5 weeks from when I first messaged to when they finished. I messaged through Yelp on a Saturday, and Daniel called me back on the Monday. Jack came out to provide an estimate the next day, and he brought samples of polished concrete so I could pick a color. He gave me two quotes: one for removing the vinyl and just polishing and one for also pouring self-leveling concrete and polishing that. The estimates were competitive with quotes I had received from others, and he sent them through Quickbooks within hours of meeting. We decided that they would remove the existing floor first so we could get a sense of what just polishing that would look like. They also provided a COI promptly once we decided on this plan. Jack had a three-man crew come out the following Monday. They arrived everyday from 9 am to 9:15 am. Within an hour, they had ripped up the baseboards and vinyl floor. The concrete underneath had bubbles, large cracks, inconsistent coloring, and a large stain from previous water damage. The foreman, Alberto, suggested they just pour new concrete, and I agreed. We got Jack on the phone and went ahead with that plan. The crew did a great job putting up plastic to protect the walls and the limited furniture I had in the unit. They also put up plastic in the building hallways and carefully disposed of all debris. And 7 workdays later, the floor looks great! Would definitely call up Concrete Care again for any remodeling that fits their skills. For reference, the four photos are of (1) the living room before removing the vinyl, (2) the living room after removing the vinyl, (3) the completed living room, and (4) the concrete samples in the living room before the work.

Let me share a bit more so people understand how they actually run this "business." Richard (owner) told me their "rainstorm waterproof wall" would fix my foundation. It doesn't work at all. I feel like I got tricked. Work quality was bad too. They rushed everything, didn't even let concrete set properly, cut corners everywhere. Just wanted to finish fast and get paid. When I questioned stuff, they just made up excuses. They also broke my gas line and damaged my plants. Then said they would fix it, but first pushed to collect all the remaining money. After they got paid, they just disappeared and blocked me. Nothing got fixed. Also kept asking for payment earlier than agreed. Even argued with my wife for like an hour just to get paid 1 day earlier... makes sense now why.

I have never seen such disrespect for someones house and property as what I received. Landscaping destroyed, lawn ruined, garbage left, and to top it all off - the work was shoddy at best. Pushed to get paid before work was completed now the phone number is not working, website is now removed, and Danny is nowhere to be found. Avoid this "company".

There were so many dents in the floor that I was sure it would never be smooth again--epoxy or no epoxy. Well, I guess I was proven wrong because these guys took their time to grind the floor, patch it, and then grind it again to make sure it was buttery smooth! They recommended sand for traction before putting the colored epoxy coating and that was a spot-on recommendation also (we don't want our customers slipping!). They offered a great color selection palette and recommended dark grey which I ended up liking as well. You can barely see the sand when the top color epoxy coat is applied so that was a plus. Before I hired them I got a quote from another company that was going to charge more and use an inferior method (acid etch instead of straight up grinding). Overall these guys are really professional and I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Thanks a lot, we love our new floor!
