The bigger building is like Disney Lost and found items that never got claimed. I decided to check both out since I made the Trek over. I didn't really find much in the smaller location, but in the bigger Disney return store I was able to find an umbrella for $3 and a sleep mask for $0.50. I did wash the sleep mask after I purchased it but it was basically brand new. You can find some really good things here. They also have some old Disney popcorn buckets. As the day went on there were a lot more people inside of the bigger location so I would recommend getting there early. The service was friendly and I would definitely come back here.

One of the reasons it's my favorite shop is because of how curated it is. There's a smaller home section with a huge selection of dishes and fine china. There's also other good home finds as well. The clothing section is good, but not so large it's overwhelming. I love the designer section, there's always something good there. Additionally, they just added a trinket trade box to the store, so be sure to check that out!!

According to their website, Out of the Closet Thrift Store (OTC) was founded in 1990 to help raise funds and awareness for AIDS Healthcare Foundation. When you shop or donate at Out of the Closet, 96 cents of every dollar made goes to AIDS Healthcare Foundation's HIV prevention and treatment services. Dropping donations off is very easy- you pull up just past the front retail door to another closed exterior door which has a sign to ring a bell for assistance. From there someone comes out to receive the donations. As a thrift shop, I've been able to find a great furniture piece as well as a few tops. They have lots of clothes and some home goods, depending on the week. With that said, it's not the best thrift store in terms of inventory and pricing, but you know you're supporting a good cause and there are some hidden gems. I'll keep donating here and perusing for some fun thrift finds!

I like that they have a selection of items from different countries and different time periods. There was a Llama Poncho that was handmade in the '40s on the same rack as other items ranging from the 20s to the 80s, so cool to see history through clothing! It's a small shop, so it only needs one worker at a time. She did a good job engaging with everyone and answering any questions. The items are vintage and many are one of a kind, so expect boutique prices!

They had so many different shoes to look through that they even had different areas set up for specific shoe colors. Since there are so many shoes for women, they are all pretty affordable. Most of the men's shoes that I found for my husband started at about $15 and went all the way up to over $100. For used shoes I wouldn't pay anything over $20. The cashiers were friendly. I saw an item behind the shelves that I wanted a price check on and the lady helped me. If you're in the area and you're looking to pick up some thrifted goods, I would definitely recommend checking this store out. They do have a restroom inside but you need to push the button by the door and wait for an employee to come let you into the bathroom. Make sure if you're with someone else that they take your items because you're not allowed to bring merchandise into the restroom with you.

If I were to categorize this store I would have 3 categories - clothing, used games and vintage kitsch. When you walk in they have a very inviting couch and seating area. Near the front are racks and displays of featured items and a display case/checkout area. The store features a lot of vintage t-shirts, sports jerseys and funky hipster clothing. There is a tag color chart which indicates the price of the item. Management knows their merchandise value and items in the front room of the store have been priced at the going used retail prices. The back room has the bulk clothing bins, used gaming items and vintage electronics and some collectibles. I dug through the bins and found some nice items but only one that I liked in my size. I was afraid there was a minimum of a pound charge but instead my item was placed on a scale and I paid the weight divided by $7 a pound. I found a short sleeve top I liked and paid $2.75. So the bulk bins are a bargain if you can find something you like. The service was friendly and efficient. They accept cards and digital payments. I particularly was drawn to the vinyl albums and they looked like quality in their plastic sleeves to protect the covers. I did not check the condition of the vinyl but if you are looking to add to your collection this might be an option.
