Great place to get your car washed they do a very thorough job and the vacuums work well.

The new workers there are awesome. If you had a bad experience in the past I would recommend trying them out again. I have a membership and run my Tahoe through at least once a week. read more

Got the too if the line wash. The blower didn't work bad left my car streaked and blotchy. Definitely a waste of money.

Terrible car wash, went with the regular wash. Car wasn't even remotely clean. Talked to the prep guys, they said you have to pay extra for them to wash the car that the actual car wash doesn't do a thing. Wouldn't let me run car thru again. Contacted manager Jarad...no help at all, clearly doesn't care about customer service. Told me not to come back, like I would. Its free to leave dirt on my car at the house. This is my fifth year visiting the Outer Banks and I have never gotten a car wash before. After driving on the beaches for a few days, I thought it would be a good idea to give one a visit. They provided great service and they were super friendly! One gent took the time to wipe down my jeep pretty thoroughly before going through the automated cleaning system. Guess I missed the renovations and new concept of "express wash". I went there expecting the good service and wash I received every time before. No more vacuuming by the staff, no towel dry, stay in your car. No cleaning the interior windows. And the price is the same as the full service from long ago. The "bug removal" consisted of some liquid in a pump sprayer and a quick hit with a brush. I'm just not happy with the end result. The air dryer at the end of the process is a joke. You got my money, but I won't be back. I can do a better, less expensive job at the spray wash in Kill Devil Hills. read more

What a shame, this place has gone from a caring owner to a young guy who thinks the world owes him something. The new format is terrible, they are closed more than they are open, part of the car wash equipment does not even work and their prices stayed the same as a full service wash was before. You can go to an Auto Bell and drive through it for $4 and get the exact same thing they charge $20 for. I understand there is no competition on the beach, but customer service is non-existent and the service in general is not good. For the money, the self service wash in KDH is better and is always open. WHERE IS GENE???!!! read more

Their bug spray was left on my mirrors. The rinse was weak and left soap all over my car. The dryer dried one side of the car. Paid $18 and it looked worse when we left. read more

They did an amazing job in our VW EOS. It's first wash since buying in June. It is like a new car, all shiny. The fellows throughly soft brush and suds the car. Then new blue machine dose the rest with timely sprays of wax and water. The wheels also get shined. read more

I really like the Carolinas. The people have been very kind always in serving us, and often go that little extra steps in order for us to make our visit so memorable, we think of making this an annual thing. And then a place like this comes along, just on our way out, it mars the entire experience and leaves things on a sour note. We picked this place because of the yelp reviews on how good they are at getting the bugs off. Unfortunately, our car looks no better than when it went in and when it came out, the radio antenna was on our passenger seat, the mirrors folded in and our windshield were still full of bugs splatters! Seriously?!!! NOT Even the smudges on our door of sunscreen prints came off! PLEASE, you are a car wash, we go in there to get the car washed! Not pay you money to drive our car through!!! read more

"Welcome to the south; where you don't have to get out of your car to buy beer, but you do to have your car washed!" It took about 15 minutes but my car was washed for $10. Seeing as there are almost no other options on this part of the OBX to wash off the relentless spray of blinding salt water we slid into here. To their credit, the employees were friendly and somewhat efficient which was great since we were trying to get off the island before the mass exodus. My OCD is rather annoying, I admit that. However, I really hate it when people move my seat to drive 25 feet to a conveyor belt. All in all, the job I requested to have done was and I'm safer for it. read more

We requested the highest priced service they offer. I wish I had taken a picture of my vehicle afterwards. The attendant did a thorough pre-scrub of the passenger side and then started the conveyor belt before he even started pre-washing the driver's side. He was trying to quickly scrub the driver's side of the vehicle as it passed him. I found out, when I stopped later, there were so many huge missed/dirty spots on my white vehicle. Had to wipe it down with a wet rag myself afterwards because I was so embarrassed. I might could even chalk it up to busy summer chaos except we're local and it wasn't summer. read more

Did a great job cleaning all the bugs, etc. off of the car. Blowers at the end did not do a great job of drying however.

They are false advertising a brushless car wash. When I asked the man child where my car was (since it was moved behind a larger truck) the sarcastic man with a beard replied "maybe someone stole it" which only increased his tip to $0. Unfortunate for them if they tip share. Perhaps someone should share with the moron that sarcasm results in reduced gratuity. Idiot. Good thing that I will never bring my vehicle back to them during our yearly trip and the 6 other cars that come down with us will also not return for future services. Don't forget, your job is to serve your customers and provide some level of customer service. Clearly your minimum wage employees don't realize that. read more

This is the worst I have ever seen! Never open, but "appears open". Supposedly the equipment is always "broken down", but in front of building is the "Detailing and Finishing" van advertising those services for $75.00 - $250.00. This is the only full service car wash on the OBX. Just learned that there is a drive through car wash in Kill Devil Hills, but ended up rinsing my car off myself....Very disappointing. read more

Great car wash and friendly guys. They did a thorough pre wash with one guy on each side of my filthy truck. Before starting he sprayed a big treatment on the front to let it soak. Afterward 99% if the old dried bugs were gone. Very nice wash and free vacuums read more

My car was covered in sand. The staff sprayed off the sand, pre-scrubbed and power washed my car then sent it through the mechanical wash. Conscientious, friendly and hard working staff. Excellent job. read more

This place sucks. It's basically an overpriced gas station car wash. They no longer do the interior. You have to do that yourself but they didn't lower their prices when they stopped.. Vacuums barely pick up anything. read more

thought it was great, got the sea salt and sand off my car along with the 3.5 million smashed bugs on my front end from the drive in. little pricey for a car wash though i think i paid 14 for the second cheapest and the prices were in the 20's for better ones. anyway it was nice to b able to wash my car since there arent any around, cant really complain read more

Noticed that the wash has brand new top of the line equipment, received a excellent wash. Went back and noticed they have upgraded their soaps and applications used on our car, not only are they more brilliant in color and smell, but our car was extremely clean and shinny when done. DO NOT GO HERE! This place is a rip-off and total waste of money. You will be much happier going right up the road to the self service car wash next to Enterprise Rental. $32 for "The Works" which apparently means very little. I tipped $8 before they started to come out and still find sand/dust all over to floor board, dash, center console, etc. when I went to talk to the manager he was extremely rude. He told me that "The Works" was not a full detail which I completely understood, but based on the description they provide for "The Works" I should at least expect my floors sand/dirt/dust free the dash and center console to be wiped down. My truck is rubber lined and about as easy as it comes to clean. Bad days happen but I have given these guys a couple chances now and I have received the same results.
