I want to especially emphasize the care and consideration given by Dr. Yee (sp?) who was the ER doctor on shift at the time. He spoke to my mother with gentle patience while obtaining all the necessary medical information from my mother and me. He then provided us with several updates letting us know what he knew at the time of each update while certain tests were being done. He prescribed the necessary medication, and she was discharged. The next day Dr. Yee even called me to ask how my mother was doing. With the staff and Dr. Yee on its side, Orange Coast Memorial is certainly one of the best hospitals I have come to know.

They already have a lot of days that they are not open like Tuesday and Thursday and Sunday I believe. So if you don't get an answer don't waste your time driving there. For treatments I'm trying the semiglutide. My experience so far is it's slow and start you on low dose that works for 2 weeks but since it's new they really can't give you answers. If I were you I would move up on doses after the 2-3 weeks. I haven't seen much progress but hoping to move up and see better results. I'm on week five. Also if you want to move up on doses make sure to call and ask if a doctor is available to move the doses up. I can last week and I was not able to move up doses. The doctor was not available.
