I worked in production for a long time and had no shortage of potential wedding photographers, but the decision to go with OC Event Photos was a super easy one. He and his crew were on time (early, actually!) and he took calls with me before the wedding to ensure things were lined up properly. At the wedding, he was both fun to hang out with and also a brilliant photographer. Then, after the wedding, he turned around the photos quickly and they looked AMAZING. He is a great editor also (v important). Listen. Your wedding will go by in a flaaaash. It's cool to cut corners on many, many wedding related things (who needs personalized napkins like are you serious) but do not skimp on the photographer(s). From the beginning, he was very responsive and communicative about his services, expectations and things to consider for the big day. As someone who was planning her own wedding and did not have a coordinator, I very much appreciated his guidance and wisdom since he has so much experience with shooting weddings! He was very understanding and patient when it came to details regarding my timeline (which I sent to him only a week before the event). On the day of, we were running late in the morning, but Justin showed up early and even kindly stayed 20 minutes later than scheduled to make sure we could squeeze in all the group pictures that we wanted. Also, to both of our surprises, my uncle showed up with a camera, but Justin was very understanding and accommodating about the matter and made sure both he and my uncle were able to capture shots without getting in each other's ways.
