I had my Jandy switch in my spa go bad and he came out and quoted me a fair price and that had installed. It's been several years and it's still working great. I had my salt water pool built in 2004 so a lot of the stuff is ancient. However, Duane's knowledge on upgrading my equipment into today's standard has helped me bring my pool up to date and get better use out of it. Recently I had the old Sam lights replaced in both the spa and pool. I had him install the Pentair Intellibrite LED lights that work with the app. He also upgraded my Jandy board to the Aqualink that connects to your wifi. This way I get the best use out of the LED light features. I can also use the app for everything from anywhere. Nigel and Patrick did the install. They're great. Explained everything. Nigel spent time walking me through features and functions. Life is so much easier controlling the speed setting on my variable speed pump, and all the different one touch settings. I remember the first thing I had him come out for was fixing my backwash pipe that was leaking. He's always been great in helping provide information when I'm doing it myself. He's not always available right away, but he will get back to me. In my opinion, he's a Godsend for this type of stuff. To have someone you can trust and that knows your equipment and system and you, it's really great and gives me peace of mind. I definitely recommend Duane, his techs, Nigel and Patrick and their work. His product prices are competitive and he's fair with his labor rate. You get what you pay for. And he stands behind his work. I'm grateful to have him available because it's hard to find someone like him. Thank you Duane. Keep up the good work.

Ed was recommended to me by another contractor whom I respect. Unfortunately, my experience with Ed was completely different, and I know the person who referred him has since apologized and is embarrassed by how this has turned out. I hired Ed to replace my spa heater, restore the spa shell, remove the rust stains, polish the metal handles, replace the pillows/headrests, and leave the spa in excellent working condition for my investment property, which I operate as a short-term rental. Instead, he convinced me to install a used heater, assuring me that it was "practically new" and would be an excellent unit. After the installation, the heater began releasing significant rust into the spa, staining the shell and leaving me questioning the condition of the equipment that was installed. The work was never completed. The promised restoration was never finished, the pillows/headrests were never replaced, the shell was never properly restored, and several other agreed-upon items were left undone. To make matters worse, the spa was left in worse condition than before. For the past six to seven months, I have repeatedly contacted Ed. Every time he tells me he will come "tomorrow" or "next week," but he never shows up. He has made the same promises to the contractor who referred him, yet nothing has changed. I paid over $3,000 expecting professional workmanship and reliable service. Instead, I have been left with an unfinished project, a spa that still requires repairs, and months of frustration trying to get him to honor his commitments. At this point, I have no choice but to pursue reimbursement through Small Claims Court because my attempts to resolve this matter directly have been unsuccessful. I hope my experience helps others make an informed decision.

Over the years, he brought different guys to help out. These guys came and went and some stayed for all of ten minutes. They'd sweep the net across the water for a few minutes, throw some chemicals in the water and leave. Now, present day, there would be at least one no-show each month. Our pool has algae growing in it. Our water is so off with chemicals that we're going to have to drain our pool. This is not the opinion of one other person, but three! If we could find a way to charge him for the water we're going to have to pay for, we would! It's too bad. Ed was good at one time. We don't know what happened to that level of service.

This has helped us to make good decisions and plan out next steps for maintaining and upgrading our pool equipment as it is quite old.
