Jared and his team were a welcome surprise, always on top of things, not just in terms of cleaning but maintenance and service as well. Unfortunately, after the service cost increase there was a severe decline in service performance. Whenever possible, I took time to monitor how our weekly service was being completed, as our Pebbletec surfaces were getting green and had to call for follow-up corrective action. Recently, my Pentair Intellichlor Salt Cell check warning light activated, which was indicating a check and cleaning was needed. This is something our service tech, Brandon, should have easily seen and reported. Since no action was taken, I had to follow-up and contacted Jared to advise him of the situation. Jared quickly responded and said it would be taken care of in our next regularly scheduled service on Monday. I specifically made time to be home to supervise the salt cell service and was on the phone when I heard our pool gates open/close. Approximately 10 minutes had passed and as I was completing my call, the pool gates were heard again. Upon inspection of the salt cell, it was evident the service was not done. I was also troubled to find that the pump basket and netting of the pool were not done, with only the pool skimmer basket emptied and a chlorine tablet placed in the basket. I contacted Jared and requested our service be immediately terminated. Jared responded and apologized for the error. The following day I went out and purchased a complete pool test kit. Much to my surprise I found that all of our chemical levels were way off and immediately called another pool service. The new pool service owner came that same evening and confirmed the pool tests I had done. He also noted the discoloration of our Pebbletec and tested our Phosphate level, which registered off the chart. In discussing the salt cell and high chlorine levels, I showed him the chlorine tablet in the skimmer basket and he immediately said that should never be done, as it is very harmful to the pool equipment. So here I am, having to pay hundreds of dollars to correct failed services provided by Jared's company, Beachside Pool Service and maybe more if my equipment has been damaged. read more

Amazing service and great prices. Jared came over to look at some challenges we had with our old filter. We felt he really knew what we was doing, he could have fixed our old filter, but we wanted a new one, since the old one was close to 10 yrs old. He gave a phenomenal deal replacing our old filter(mind you, I have been pricing filters at a bunch of different places), and was able to install it within a few days. His associate, Eric, came right on time. My watch dog, didn't even bark at him (dogs know good people). He was quick, efficient, and cleaned up after himself. My pool has never looked so good, and my heater is working again! I thought I would have to replace that too.
