If you want your kids to pass the behind the wheel driver's test you NEED to have Sherry as their instructor. Both of my daughters did and PASSED in their FIRST try!! Can I give a six-star review? When it was time to get my daughter trained to drive, I was annoyed to learn that official paid instruction was required. Can't I show and tell her everything myself? After 35+ years, I don't see why not. But one thing I could not seem to accomplish was helping my daughter feel more confident behind the wheel. Sherry to the rescue! After the first lesson, my daughter couldn't wait to drive more with us. After the second lesson, she was ready for freeway and night driving. Sherry provided her with everything she needed to know and do confidently to pass the drive test: getting to know the neighborhoods around the DMV, knowing the tasks she would be expected to perform, mastering the proper steps to change lanes, and all in memorable details that she could review and rehearse with us. Ultimately she passed her test this week on her first try with a 97% score, and I don't think she could have done that with just my coaching. That said, for the way Sherry helped my daughter just feel so much more comfortable and safe behind the wheel, I would still give OC Driving Academy a six-star review even if the first test wasn't successful. I highly recommend Sherry at OC Driving Academy! She was extremely patient with my daughter and gave her the confidence she needed. From the very first behind the wheel session to the session before the driving test, my daughter learned so much. Sherry was easy to schedule, and her pricing is very reasonable. She was also available to call or text anytime we had a question. My daughter passed her behind the wheel test with 97% on her first try! I also really like the fact that OC Driving Academy has female instructors who are easy to schedule with and trustworthy. Other driving schools have limited female instructors. I know that might not make a difference, but when I was 16, I had a male instructor whose actions were not appropriate with me. I will not elaborate. Not all male instructors are like this, but I felt that I needed my daughter to have a trusted female. After all, your sending your child away in a car with a complete stranger for 2 hours! Just be careful who you choose as an instructor. You can definitely feel safe with Sherry. read more
