Inalsqys felt like Dr Eng always tried to upsell me and my family. my kid and wife left him a long time ago. I always did what he suggested but it always seemed like a sales job for $ I had good insurance through my company. This last year, he said I needed a crown which I agreed to even though the tooth did not hurt He put in a temporary and then I went back and he replaced it with the permanent one My insurance was ending on 8/31 because I had retired. Dr Eng did not discuss with me the options of what materials to use plus he knew I was sensitive to the cost because my insurance was running out So--I went in to have the temp pulled out and get the permanent one. In the process,his tool he used to get the temp out slipped and cracked into my two top teeth. One had been broken when I was a kid When this happened I started having all kinds of problems with an aching tooth on the one that had been damaged as a kid I went back to him 4 times. He replaced the cracked filling but it did no good. So-he sent me to a root canal guy This guys was great ,but he didn't solve the problem either and I had a huge root canal bill for a tooth that I may not have even needed a root canal on. At least the checked my insurance so I went in with my eyes open. So-why did I get dropped -my bill from Dr Eng came for the crown -my insurance wouldn't pay anything because they said the materials he used were not covered. After I had gone over in great detail about my insurance ending and how I was concerned ,I felt it would be incumbent upon him to find out about what materials might be covered. Anyway, I picked a number 800.00 which I said I would pay. The bill was about 1250 So I paid the 800 and then get a notice he was dropping me. It's probably for the better because I had lost confidence in him ,but I feel what they did was wrong. He tried 4 times to fix what he fouled up when his instrument slipped and it didn't work. Now--months later ,I still suffer with that tooth that aches and Dr Eng and east lake advance dentistry did it. --just saying --time for me to move on-- If using these guys,make sure you know what they are doing and what your insurance pays I gave two stars because I was with him for 31 years If it would have been for my last experience they would have received no stars

He did a thorough examination, gave me a preliminary explanation of the work I needed to do and was invited back for another appointment to go over everything in detail. When I returned, I was blown away. First, by the technology that he uses and secondly by how much thought and time he put into my needs before I had even given him a penny. I'm not going to lie, I was also blown away by the cost, but his staff worked out a payment plan for me and I have never been happier about my decision to have him do the work. My husband and kids are constantly telling me how beautiful my smile is again, and they are right! Dr Moss is an award winning general and cosmetic dentist. When I walked in they tried to charge me a "copay" of $75 for an antiseptic rinse as well as a hefty charge to my insurance. When I told the front desk girl it was supposed to be free she said the $75 for the rinse was part of the procedure. I told the girl "I think I am going to pass" as the entire charge just seemed wrong for me and my insurance. As soon as I walked out my phone was ringing and all of the sudden the rinse was optional and "please come back". I won't be going back. I do not trust this dentist or their billing practices! I didn't need a "deep cleaning". Apparently they don't get enough money from HMO plans to make it worth their time and that's their way of dumping patients who don't bring in enough money. Great patient care. Aside from the greed, they forgot to call in my antibiotic prescription, the pharmacist had to call them. They never called to tell me my crown was in, I had to call them. They scheduled my cleaning appointment with my crown appointment, then changed it again. Overall poor quality. Avoid this money pit.

He told me that I needed to fix a slide (where your teeth touch, then slide together). In his own words, this "was easily taken care of" with equilibration. I had no crowns on my teeth. I went into hyperocclusion, as my teeth did not have enough vertical or horizontal space between them. Since then I have had orthodontics 3 times and equilibration from several specialists to increase the space between my upper and lower teeth. I had to have my teeth intruded into the gums and my front teeth moved outward to create room. After 15 years I am still trying to resolve this HORRIBLE procedure.
