I had my couch and love seat recently cleaned. Not dirty at all except for the edge of two cushions had some discoloration from sitting on them. The man that came did not understand much English and used way too much water. When he arrived, he looked at the new carpet on the stairs and thought that was what he was cleaning, he had no idea what he was suppose to do. All of my other furniture in the room was wet and after several days of drying the material is hard and is no longer tight on the cushions. Called the owner, no one cares. The company no longer has their own workers, they farm their jobs out to other businesses which I was unaware of. Will not use them again! Where do I start? Like many others, I too experienced a complete lack of decency over the phone with Bobby. Sure, he knows what Bona is to clean wood flooring and can talk a lot about what should be done to carpeting, etc. Needless to say, there is absolutely NO pride taken in this business. After having Bobby and his partner, Anthony, take my $4000 rug to be completely cleaned by their factory, I was promised a two day turn around. I had to make every effort to find out when and how long this would ACTUALLY take, calling him repeatedly the day my rug was supposed to arrive at my home until giving up around 9:30pm only to wait another 7 hours the next day to have it delivered back to my home. There was a moment over the phone where he told me to "relax. Your carpet is on a van that broke down on the freeway, but not to worry, it's safe wrapped in plastic waiting for you." My rug was delivered, not in plastic, not even vacuumed because I found food crumbs my son had left the day they took the rug, and feathers from my pillows sitting on the surface of the carpet, AND the marks from where my couch was sitting on the rug to begin with. They laid my rug on my front patio, dirty and untouched. These guys wasted my time, and I am definitely staying far away from this business. I recommend you do the same. We moved out of our apartment and I attempted to hire two other carpet cleaners but they couldn't fit me in for 2 weeks so I found OC green cleaners on Yelp and they were able to make an appointment In the same week! They even had same day available, which was really reassuring because I was worried we wouldn't get it cleaned in time. They called me ahead of time and showed up when they said they would and the gentleman was very kind. He even helped me move some things out of my apartment. He really went above and beyond and only charged me what I was quoted on the phone ($79). I would highly recommend them if you need a professional carpet cleaning! I scheduled an appointment to get my carpet cleaned in my apartment. I was quoted $40 over the phone and that's what is advertised on their website. The tech gets here and tells me it'll be $140...now don't get me wrong, I expected some additional fees (EVEN THOUGH THE WEBSITE SAYS NO HIDDEN FEES) but $100?! Nah, not for ONE ROOM. I politely explained that this is much more than I was quoted, and at this time I cannot sign off on that. Instead of him inquiring about what I was quoted, telling me what this new cost is about or even offering the next best level of service, he stood in my face silently waiting for me to give in. So here we are, eyes locked, neither of us backing down. I finally asked the million dollar question, "What is the extra $100 for and why wasn't this mentioned over the phone?" He doesn't speak. If instead shows me a sales video on his phone, so again I politely refuse that service and tell him what I was quoted and what I want. As advertised on the website, "2 rooms $39.95 steam cleaning, some furniture moved, spot cleaning." He looks at me but says nothing, again. He clearly thinks I'm tossing an extra hundred his way for nothing. He finally speaks and says, "I can do the steam cleaning for $40 but it won't do anything." Ok, so now I ask him to leave...I asked him 3 times to leave and he would not. He tells me, "I am willing to work with you because I don't want the hour I spent in traffic to be a waste." What about my time? My money? My whole day is shot. Because he refused to leave until he got compensation for a job he says himself would do nothing, I gave in and told him to do whatever he needed to do to feel better about his day. He then snapped at me about how my furniture was blocking access to the sink that I didn't even know he needed. Once again something that wasn't discussed over the phone. I live in a small apartment and stacked everything I could in my kitchen and bathroom so sink or tub access wasn't going to be easy and I didn't even want the service anymore but felt pressured and bullied into it. I started clearing a path and I asked how this would take because I just want him gone...he said, "About 30 minutes." I couldn't even believe what was happening or why I felt so defeated. Finally he says, "obviously this is a frustrating experience for both of us and I should probably just leave. I honestly thought this would never end and now I'm off to rent a carpet cleaner and do it myself. It may be more work but after that experience, I think it's the best way to go. Too bad there is not a way to give less than 1 star review! I am really regretting not reading these yelp reviews before decided to go with OC green carpet cleaning. This man actually started cursing to me on the phone! He called about my unpaid invoice (they only take checks which I don't have- who doesn't take card now a days. Update your system!) So I had to order checks from the bank. Their website promises no hidden fees, exactly as advertised. I asked for the MOST basic cleaning on 4 rooms plus 2 extra rooms. According to their website 5 rooms is 89.95 and hallway is free/included in that, and each additional room is 19.99. My total should have been about 110$ but was about 150! They ended up charging me for the hallway. It took my carpets 4 days to dry, and they ended up getting so horribly mildewed that they have to be replaced. When I addressed my complaints to the owner, he actually started cursing at me! I still intend on paying for the advertised price, however- a complete waste of money considering this company actually cost me money. disgustingly ran slimy business. read more

Negative 55 stars!!! Called them at 888-471-7774 to see if they could clean my shag rug. My puppy peed on it and it had some black marks from the high traffic areas. I spoke to a guy who told me that he had a team near me that would call after they were done with a job already in progress. Sure enough they called and arrived thirty minuter later. The guy would not guarantee that he would clean the rug to perfection, still I allowed him to take the rug. He quoted me $150 because he said he would need to clean it multiple times and let it dry before bringing it back to me a week later. I gave him a deposit and he took the rug and left. That was on a Saturday. On Wednesday, he called saying that he was finished with the rug and wanted to drop it off. THREE days early! I was ecstatic! I left work early to meet him at my place. Once we got inside, I noticed the rug was still wet and that there was still a faint urine stain on it. He said it was the best he could do. I felt like he had done a good job so I paid the remaining balance and he was on his way. BIG MISTAKE! I should have asked him why it was still wet and why he finished so soon. About a day later I noticed that the rug has an odor and a thick residue. If you run your hands through the hairs of the rug, you will need to wash your hands because you can still feel and smell the product he used. I can tell that he spot cleaned the rug by hand and probably does not have the proper equipment to clean a shag rug. Unfortunately, I paid with cash so I really don't have any recourse, but I do plan to call them to see if they would be interested in righting this wrong. They were able to send someone out for a last-minute order to attend to water damage restoration and carpet cleaning. John, the representative and technician that arrived, was prompt, courteous, and professional. My experience was great. The price was way better then I expected. They came out gave me 3 different options and told me the clean they recommend. Although I wanted the cheapest instead of the middle 1 he recommended I should have listened to him. But in the end it didn't matter. So I did the standard basic clean which cleaned 2 of my rooms great. The other 2 rooms which were worse looked a lot better but not as good as I would have liked. So they went ahead and did the extra deep scrub clean on those 2 rooms and discounted to charge the original extra scrubbing price they offered. I was told the price would be $99, 3 times. I paid $180.00 and i am not happy with the job that was done. I asked if they could come back and do my stairs because they only did the middle. I was told by Bobby he would reach out to me to come Monday and do my stairs as long as it wasn't raining.. I reached out to him Monday he said he would check his schedule and not to worry sweetie he will take care of me I never heard back. He said the office opened at 9 and he will get back to me. I left a voicemail at 4 pm Monday and another one yesterday and still havent heard back. I called the original number that booked the appointment, the 626 number and it's some storage company. I texted the number saying I am not being helped and no reply. The guy who did my stairs, had barely any teeth and seemed like he was on drugs too. I originally had someone else come out but was so disappointed with the persons professionalism that I told him to leave. Rey did such a beautiful job on my carpet. After our dog passed away of cancer, I called this company to come and clean our carpets because she was very sick the last days of her life. They were running a deal and the price seemed reasonable. They also were able to come the same day I called. When the technicians arrived, I was trying to put our newborn down for a nap, so I asked them to get started in the other room. In our kitchen, I have a ring holder where I keep three of my bracelets (David Yurman). When I came out of the nursery to put them on, like I do every morning, one of my bracelets was missing. I looked around for the bracelet in front of the technicians. Then, I went back in the nursery to call my husband and tell him that the bracelet had been stolen. When I came back out, the missing bracelet was laid out on my dining room table ... the technicians must have known that I noticed the missing bracelet and tried to return it. When I asked them where they found the bracelet they said it was on the kitchen counter and they didn't want it to fall so they moved it. HMMM... no carpet in the kitchen. Why were they in there moving my jewelry?? When they left, I also noticed that they stole a ring that was on my bathroom counter. When I called the owner, he told me that he couldn't do anything for me and that I should file a police report. SO UNPROFESSIONAL. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. They come out with an old rickety machine and do a quick and "dirty" job unless you pay 10X as much as their advertised price for power scrubbing, degreasing, and pet odor control. I googled "area rug cleaning near me" and OC Green was the first business that came up. I called to see how much they would charge to clean two area rugs and when could it be done. I was aghast at how inexpensive it would be to spot, clean, and treat those two rugs. The fact that we have two dogs is what brought about the need for the rugs to be cleaned. What stunned me even more was that they could be at our house within 3 hours to do the job. Robert arrived during the early part of our service time. He was friendly and efficient.
