And i know she had her work cut out for her. It was Better than my horrible waxing experience in the past at other salons. Only half star off was I was totally unprepared leading up to the event and didn't know much about microblading or what i was getting myself into. I cant say how good the application of lashes are but the customer service is not my style. I was only able to communicate via text message not by phone. I called first thing in the morning and requested an apportionment for a new client full set. Apparently you have to enter your credit card to secure an appointment. I dont use my credit card online with company's I am unfamiliar with. I texted the owner and confirmed I would be there but that I do not use my credit card online with unfamiliar sites. She waited until the end of the day to tell me she would be unable to see me. Had I know that I would have booked with another salon earlier in the day. now its almost 5 pm and too late to book a new appionment else where. 1 star is for customer service. * as a side note I can see that this online booking can be used as a great tool but asking clients that have not verified your company to expose their credit card and authorize you to charge it is asking too much read more

Do NOT recommend. I came here once & will not be returning. I arrived to my appt 10 mins prior & the owner was outside smoking a cig with another client. She told me to go inside & sign a paper. Several mins later she comes in with the other girl, doesn't say a word to me & begins doing the other girls lashes. Mind you, at this point it's my appt time & this girl is cutting into my scheduled time. She works on her for about 15 mins, & then finally takes me. I found this to be extremely unprofessional. At least tell me that you're running behind, and not just have me sitting there not knowing what's going on. Now for my lashes, before the first week was up, I had so many fall out. It's been a week since I got them done & 50% of my lashes have fallen out. I've gone to other places & had lashes on for over 9 months before, so I know how to take care of them. Most importantly is how you can still rock your own lashes if your extensions fall off. You don't have to worry like with other places of looking all bald eye'd lol. Angie is awesome! She removed eyelash extensions I had gotten from somewhere else the first time and I've been back twice already for a Keratin Lash lift. And I am obsessed! Glad I got her opinion! She's super nice and makes you feel welcome and is constantly making sure you are comfortable. I love having conversations with her, she's super funny and down to earth. Obviously Angie doesn't want my review to be seen, as she has gone out of her way to have it removed. i never met her before that appointment but got an email stating i wrote this out of conflict of interest, no yelp this is legit regardless of what angie says. You get what you pay for. I was referred and when i arrived she had a bad attitude toward me, that's okay because i'm an adult and i can handle it. She did my lashes and they started falling out after the very next day. I contacted her and she flat out refused any responsibility for the fallout. That's okay too; as other reviewers and two of my clients later both said their lashes fell out too, so i cut her some slack because shes got to make money too but its hard to make a profit if your doing re-dos for free everyday. my lashes fell out 6 days flat. Also she wrote in a text that she would decide what length and curl to put on me and said if they're shorter (which was the only choice she gave me) then they probably wouldn't even show. Then whats the point? my natural lashes are very long and I've not had a problem with fallout like this before. I'm disappointed having to write this review but I've referred people to her and their lashes fell out fast and she offered no explanation besides i don't know, and it never happens. So unless you don't mind paying for 3 day lashes at full price this is your lady. Side note ladies, if she asked me to touch the un-used lashes that were still on the palette, to show me how soft they are, then I'm sure I'm not the only one she's asked to touch those, i didnt by the way. I've been trying to get an appointment here for a while, but to no avail. I'm one who prefers to give the benefit of the doubt and tries to understand from the other person's perspective, but even patience as long as mine runs out. A few months ago, a friend of mine reached out to me and was looking for a reliable eyelash studio. My favorite one had relocated to Tennessee, so I began to research online. I decided on the OC Lash Studio because they had an excellent promotion for first time customers ($65--what a deal!). My friend booked online, using the link provided on Yelp, and we were both on the extreme side of excited. We arrive at the location, and waited for Angie to finish up receiving payment from a client. To our surprise, as my friend was about to be seated for her turn, another client came saying she had an appointment for the SAME time as my friend. Angie checked her appointment list, then went on to say that there must have been a glitch online. My friend booked through the link from Yelp, and she was apparently NOT booked for an appointment at all; the other lady was booked for the current time. Bummer. Ok, fine, part of the problem was that my friend should have double checked with Angie after booking online, right? Oh, but wait. She tried! My friend called and texted and never heard back, so she (& I) just decided to show up to the appointment she made online. Angie was flustered in the presence of the other customer (the poor lady wasn't even greeted or told she would be assisted soon, but instead was left to stand there awkwardly waiting for our conversation with Angie to be over). Angie kind of apologized and told us we could come back in an hour-ish and she would do my friend's lashes. Whew! At the very least, right? Wrong. We hung around town against our plans and when we arrived back at the OC Lash Studio, Angie said her next client was unable to move her appointment after all, a.k.a she was NOT going to be able to do my friend's lashes and we stayed in the area for nothing. So, all this fuss and an hour and a half later, we received no service, no discount or offer for a different day, and barely a real apology for the inconvenience. It was a sad day. My friend, who came all the way from Baldwin Park, was appalled by the lack of customer service and business know-how. And though I tried twice in the weeks to follow to chat with Angie via phone to book my own service, I never received a call back. Oh, well. Lots of people ask me for reputable lash places, and I really wanted this one to be a good place to send my friends. read more

Having been a "Yelper" for some years now, I always try to review the businesses I frequent and enjoy, but I also try to warn people about businesses that are not so good. I am happy to say that OC Lash Studio is one of the BEST. Pro's: Clean environment, great prices, awesome lash technician (Hi, Angie!), lashes last as long as you let them, cool use of new technology. Con's: If you are busy it might be tough to fit in an appointment every two to three weeks. But hey, you should make time for yourself, you are IMPORTANT!! I saw a few one starred reviews and I was honestly confused. This is my second time (first time a full set, this time a 'fill') and both times Angi was professional, friendly, and more than competent in her handling of my eyes and lashes. I am a registered nurse and I need my eyes, therefore I am very protective of them and their overall health. My eyes are wonderful, no infections, itching, burning, nothing. She asks, too. For me, the benefit of not having to put on mascara is well worth the effort of coming in for fills and conversation. As Angi is the lash professional I allowed her to make the final call regarding the color, curl, and length of my lashes. She just wanted to make sure that the ones she initially put on me were not too long (hitting my glasses, etc) and they were fine, so we went forward with her recommendation. I couldn't be happier. Some people may not know how to care for their lashes, Angi does a great job of instructing first timers on what to do and not to do. If you wash your face and eye area vigorously you will lose lashes. If you follow instructions, you won't. For those who felt they followed instructions and still lost lashes, maybe their pH is not in sync with whatever adhesive is being used. I know mine works well and for that I am grateful. LOVE the ease of having lashes and not having to put on mascara, which smudges anyway! Angi's use of technology for appointments and payment (including emailing receipts) is awesome. Love the whole set up, will be referring my friends who use lashes. I highly recommend new and old lash users alike to go check out this establishment. You won't be sorry. read more

I was looking for a salon that had decent prices to get my lashes filled and I found OC Lash Studio. So when I first got there, I made sure for starters that I got there on time for my appointment because the website is very straight forward on if you're late, it cuts into your time. So that being said, I was waiting for 20 minutes past my appointment time because the appointment before mine was not finished on time. So after waiting, I begin my appointment, conversation was not very professional and borderline uncomfortable. After my lashes were finished, initially I thought they looked great but as the day went on they immediately started falling out. It is now only 3 days later and they look terrible, fall out every 2 seconds and have huge gaps. It was an extreme waste of money and I will not be going back. This is my first time getting lash extensions and wasn't sure what to expect. Angi talked me through the entire process and my lashes look great! First, there is a super easy online booking system. When you arrive into the studio there is a procedures binder that takes you step by step on telling you what the process entails, how to care for your lashes, and answers any questions you may have. During the appointment, Angi is very professional and open to answer all the questions. My lashes look great and I am now scheduled for a fill every two weeks. Claudia has done my lashes at this establishment and I have to say I am amazed! They lasted for a month, no joke. In fact even more than a month later I still have a considerable amount left hanging in there. I have had lashes before, done at a salon in LA and it almost ruined my love for lashes due to always tacky/gooey glue and clumps falling off. However OC Lash did an amazing job. The products they use are far superior to anything I have had in the past. The glue really sticks!! I did want something longer and flashier however in retrospect the length was actually perfect because had they been any longer they would have rubbed my sunglasses and probably fallen off sooner. I'm kind of frugal so I don't splurge on things like this often but I am going back again tomorrow to get another set because they lasted so long and look so awesome. My natural lashes are pretty blonde and very short so this is a great way to get length and volume without daily battles with mascara that usually ends up looking gunky and clumpy. This is my updated review 10/17. Amber who I originally got my eyelash extensions done by no longer works here. That sucks, but I was told a new technician Lilly would be taking over Amber's clients. The appointment I had coming up for my 3 week fill with Amber was cancelled & then rescheduled to a different day and time, without anyone asking me if that worked for me. I guess that's what Lilly could do on short notice, taking on new clients and I need my fill so ok, but people make appointments for a reason. Anyways, today is the day of my rescheduled appointment, I got a text confirming everything the night before, and a few hours before my appointment I get a text from Lilly saying she needs to cancel my appointment because of an emergency. I understand emergencies do happen but I've been left with a bad taste in my mouth. It is now 3 days past my 3 week fill date and if I go any longer without a fill I'm going to have to pay/be charged for a new full set of lashes. I don't think that's fair since the two cancellations that have pushed me to this date were not my fault. Got eyelash extensions for the first time ever with Amber. She was very nice & I loooved the way the lashes came out. I got the "classic full set". They look very natural, like my own lashes but enhanced. The process was long, about 2 hours, but relaxing. Amber explained the process before we started and she explained in detail how I should care for & maintain my lashes after. I will definitely be coming back for fills & I would recommend anyone to Amber and OC Lash. The only thing I would note is that I wasn't shown different lash options/lengths. I think my lashes are on the longer side, and my friends who have had extensions before said I must have picked the longest size available. I've been getting my lashed done with Angi for a couple of years. I have never had lashes fall out before their time, as I follow the VERY detailed instructions she lays out for maintenance. My lashes look great EVERY time, and she is incredibly knowledgeable about her product and what will work for each individuals lashes. I have never had a problem with scheduling, (other than I have about 2 free hours during the week so getting our schedules to sync, when my lashed need replaced is a challenge- my fault not hers). To top it of her prices are completely reasonable. I have definitely paid more and gotten worse. BTW for those complaining about online scheduling, its for her benefit as much as yours. For her to have a receptionist all day, your lashed would cost considerably more, and for her to answer the phone to constantly during your appointment would be inconsiderate, make the appointment far longer, and unsanitary. read more
