Wearing it down always felt too thin and stringy, and I NEVER felt completely confident in it. I had considered extensions for years and eventually had a one-row sewn-in weft done somewhere else in Fresno. At the time, I thought that was simply what having extensions was like UNTIL I found Shirin's work!! The moment I saw what she could do through photos, I knew I had to meet her. What stood out to me immediately was how respectful she was of the work I'd previously had done. She never made me feel uncomfortable or criticized another stylist...instead, she so gracefully and kindly showed me what extensions could be when they are truly customized to the person wearing them. Shirin took the time to understand my hair, my lifestyle, and exactly what I wanted without judgment. (I have found that it's very hard to find someone who will do your hair without judgement) she listened to every thought I had while also offering her own expertise and I trusted her completely! The result is beyond anything I imagined. My extensions are lighter, more comfortable, and the transition from my natural hair to the extensions is absolutely flawless. The color, texture, placement, and overall look match my vision so perfectly that it genuinely feels like the hair I always wished I had. I cried driving home because I couldn't believe I actually felt confident about my hair. I have never experienced that before in my life. But as talented as Shirin is, what makes her truly special is the PERSON she is. She is warm, kind, thoughtful, and you can tell that she genuinely wants the best for the person sitting in her chair. I show the stylist a picture of what I'm looking for, my hair is washed thoroughly, and then there's about 30 minutes of styling. During the appointment itself, things seemed fine. She blow-dried and curled my hair so I could see the results. I paid in full, including tip, and left the salon without noticing any immediate issues. However, a few days later, when I went to style my hair into a slick bun (which is required for my sister's wedding), I noticed significant blotchiness and dark spots throughout my blonde hair on the top of my head. It was very noticeable and not what I expected after a professional service. I reached out to Jasmin early in the morning and did not receive a response until several hours later. When she did respond, she said she did not have time to fix my hair and suggested I go to another stylist and ask them to correct it. I explained that I needed her to fix it before the wedding, but she said she could only see me two weeks later. I asked if she could recommend someone at the salon or make any effort to help resolve the issue sooner, but she declined. I also offered flexibility with my schedule, including weekends, but was told she was not comfortable servicing me and she ultimately refused to fix the problem. As a paying client, I was very disappointed that the issue was not addressed, especially given the timing before an important event. I will have to end up having to seek another stylist at additional cost to correct the work. I came in looking for straight hair extensions to match my naturally straight Asian hair. Brandi walked me through the process and helped me choose a set that appeared to be a perfect match. Initially, they looked great--until I washed them for the first time. They are not straight. They dry into defined curls and behave like curly hair. They become frizzy when brushed dry and require a curly hair care routine to maintain them--something I neither wanted nor was told to expect. I reached out to customer service because the product I received did not match what I was told I was purchasing. I wasn't expecting chemically straight hair that would stay pin-straight forever, but I also did not expect extensions marketed and sold as "straight" to dry into curls after one wash. This was the response I received: "After looking at the pictures, I can assure you that this is normal for the hair to air dry this way. High-quality, straight human hair extensions usually dry with a slight natural wave, curl or 'bend'. Because they lack the heavy, chemical straightening treatments of artificial hair, their true, raw texture often emerges when air-dried naturally." If this is considered "normal" for their straight hair extensions, why wasn't that disclosed before the sale? That information would have directly impacted my purchasing decision. More importantly, what I received is not a slight wave or bend--it is clearly curly. To make matters worse, they refused to offer a refund or exchange because the extensions had been washed. But there was no way to discover that the texture changed so dramatically without washing them. The policy effectively prevents customers from verifying whether the product actually matches how it was represented. The hair itself is healthy and good quality, which is why I'm giving two stars instead of one. My disappointment is with the misleading product representation and the unwillingness to stand behind it once the true texture became apparent. For a premium product at this price point, I expected much better transparency and customer service.
