I finally checked out OC Taco and I was very impressed. They had a friendly staff and the food was delicious. I will be returning to try more of their dishes soon. I didn't get a pic of my tacos but I had the asada taco and tinga pollo. I would recommend trying both! read more

I was pretty excited to check this place out once I heard we were getting a new taco place in town. I had to try a little of everything, so I got a trio of the Suadero tacos, along with some empanadas and yucca fritters. These are hands down the best tacos I've ever had, unbelievably flavorful, and the empanadas/fritters are mouth-wateringly good as well. We'll definitely be back for more soon! read more

We tried OC Taco for the first time on 12/18/20. We tried three types of tacos (steak, chicken and pork carnitas) and we loved them all. If we had to pick a favorite, the chicken tacos would be it. We also had the chips and guacamole, refried beans and pico de gallo as our "appetizer" (everything was great). We couldn't pass up the chicharones and my personal favorite item for the whole meal was the beef empanada. Overall, the food was hot with great flavor and the portions were more than expected. This will become a regular option for take out and we look forward to dining in! read more

We just had the most disheartening experience at this establishment. We only received some of the food that we ordered, and it came out in random, spontaneous spurts instead of all together, so we sat there looking around for over half an hour, waiting for the rest of our dinner to arrive. It never did. Not once did our server check back to ensure that we got our food or enjoyed our food. Our waters were never refilled. I was never offered another margarita (which I would've happily obliged to because I thought it was delicious) but no. It felt like we were blatantly avoided the entire time we were there. Maybe it's because I had children with me and it's not a kid-friendly restaurant? Regardless, after waiting and waiting and waiting for the rest of our food (or our server to come back) the bartender finally approached us and asked if we were doing okay. I let them know that we never received the rest of our food, and shortly after that, the server appeared and I asked for our check. I paid $70 ($84 including tip, I tip 20% regardless) to leave with hungry, frustrated children. Then we had to drive through Taco Bell on the way home and spend another $20 to ensure they went to bed with full tummies... I've worked in the restaurant industry for over a decade, as both a server and a supervisor, and there is absolutely NO WAY I could ever let a customer walk out the door unhappy after a horrible dining experience. It's a shame, because the food that we did receive was quite tasty. read more

We wanted to try this place for a while and the hours we always came across it to go they were unfortunately closed. Well FINALLY we planned on a day and went down to OC Taco super stoked to get to try it cause tacos are my boyfriend and I's favorite food. It wasn't super busy, but they only had one girl serving the whole restaurant, so we waited almost 15 mins just to get a menu and another 15 mins to get our drinks. We regretted not ordering our food the same time we ordered our drinks. We weren't upset at our waitress, she was doing the best she could with the situation she was put into. But then after waiting for our food it wasn't warm, like it had sat for 10 minutes before we got it. And it was so so bland. Like we were starving by the time the food came and I didn't even end up eating the whole thing cause it just wasn't good. The margaritas were delicious but overpriced for the size. Our bill for the 2 of us ended up being $70 without tip. We still tipped nicely cause we felt bad for the waitress. I told my boyfriend we could have eaten something way better for half the price. I hope they properly staff the place if they are going to be a new place open during COVID when everyone wants to sit and eat. I saw they added a small "take care of our staff" wage onto the tab which I thought was pretty awesome. I just hope it pays off for having 1 person running the whole shift. Won't be back. read more

What a great spot! The flavors are all authentic and fresh. Nothing is over done- just quality ingredients. We had the chips and guacamole, empanadas, carne asada taco, fish taco and pollo taco. The carne asada and empanadas were our favorites, but loved everything we ate. The staff was personable and obviously have a lot of pride in what they are doing. My wife and I are a big taco fan so we decided to check out the new joint in town. We tried one of every taco except for the squash taco. We also tried the Yucca fritters. Oh my gosh!! I was more than pleasantly surprised! I ordered off Uber eats because, you know, I'm lazy, and when I took that first bite...it was so good! Three tacos later I couldn't decide which was my favorite. The meat was so juicy and tender and delicious! The guac was also fabulous. And the best part, margaritas for delivery! The only thing is the portion size for the margarita (which says for 2) was more of a 1 person drink so it was a little spendy for how much you got. Great addition to Main Street! The tacos were good and had a generous amount of meat, I would say two tacos is sufficient for a meal for the average person. The margaritas were delicious! However, I think it's important to note that when you order the margaritas to go, they are 4oz pours on the rocks so the actual amount you receive seems small but it is enough for two cocktails. There is a huge garage door in the space that will be amazing once summer comes around. Looking forward to trying more items on the menu! read more

I really wanted to love OC Taco but unfortunately it fell short to expectations. I did a large take out order - the restaurant was full but one table (not sure about following Covid capacity guidance here?) and the order was ready to go when I arrived - which was great. The good: the guac was flavorful, chips were great and the pico was delicious. The salsa's were all unique - not your typical taqueria salsas. The empanadas were light and flavorful and the to go margarita was awesome. But the taco's - their namesake - were really disappointing. The tortillas were larger than most street tacos, and although homemade - were almost too much for the tacos. The meat to topping ratio was way off - we literally had a log of pork or chicken in our tacos. The braised meats were super fatty, and in general - not as flavorful as I would have expected - the pescado was especially bland. I was hopeful for some innovative- flavorful homemade street tacos (Por Que No in Portland is one of my faves) but I was definitely disappointed. We will for sure keep them in our pocket however for those summer days that cry for some good chips, guac and margaritas. read more

The first time we ordered ( around 4ish) from their web site for pickup, the web site said that they would text when the order was ready. We figured it'd be ready by the time we drove down and it pretty much was (4:30ish). We thought the food was incredible (BTW we got a text at 9 that night stating our food was ready!) I told my daughter who has a family about the great food. They ordered and usually always have takeout delivered. WELL the first time was great, the next 2 times they tried to have it delivered, the order was cancelled! I went to OC tonight and asked them about it and she just said oh its Postmates. So I asked my daughter, and she said no its Grubhub AND Postmates that was supposed to deliver! This is very disappointing and I truly believe that OC needs to figure this out! You have families with kids that are looking forward to their food! Lastly when we got home today with our food the Brisket was full of fat and the enchiladas looked like they just threw the chicken on top and the tortilla looked like they were already ruffled through...Still pretty tasty but not like the first time! read more
