Steve and Patrick were both very pleasant to deal with from the start. They had a Vintage Omega Seamaster 300 Titanium - hard to find. Steve switched to facetime and showed me the watch in detail. Naturally concerned about wiring money, I did some research and all things checked out. I wired money on Tuesday, The watch arrived on Wednesday. I recently purchased a white Speedmaster Professional from OC Watch Guy and had a very positive experience overall. Nick and Steve were both great to work with -- professional, responsive, and easy to deal with throughout the process. The shop itself is nice and located in a good area, and they have a strong selection. Their website is well done, and they've clearly built a solid reputation across Yelp, Google, eBay, and Reddit, which helped give me confidence going into the transaction. They don't have the absolute lowest prices you'll find online, but that's to be expected with a local brick-and-mortar shop. That said, if you're willing to negotiate, you might be able to get to the top of the fair market range on WatchCharts, which I think is completely reasonable given the in-person experience, service, and peace of mind. I also traded in my Grand Seiko, and after some negotiation they gave me the trade value I was looking for and came to a fair price on the Speedmaster. The process felt transparent and professional. The only real downside is the payment fees. I missed this initially and ended up paying a percentage for using a debit/credit card. For a luxury watch shop, this feels a bit like nickel-and-diming. High-end clients often use cards, and in my opinion that should be treated as a cost of doing business rather than passed directly to the customer. Overall, I'd still absolutely do business with them again if they have another watch at the right price, and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a reputable local dealer -- just make sure you're clear on payment method and fees upfront. read more
