Dan da man and his awesome apprentice Louis were awesome. Fixed 4 windows in less than 40 minutes!! He also gave me a quick lesson on why they broke and described how the parts work. Now I can fix a window. Lol not. On the real, I had a couple other things to fix in the house and Dan and Louis were more than happy to help and fix. So impressed with their service and clean up - the windows are cleaner now than before!! P.S. Louis also asked if he could kill a spider for me. Hands down I would recommend him.

I had a 10' tall window that had cracks in the glass. It was on the second story. The wood holding the glass in was old and had been "worked on" many times. It was uneven and didn't let the window close. There were so many reasons NOT to want this job! It was not only glass replacement. It was getting the window down two Stories (and back up again once finished) without causing damage to Either the window or the person bringing the window down. It was also working on the wood and making it even so the window would close. Dan took the job willingly...looking at it as a challenge. It came out fantastic. New tempered glass and the window opens and shuts perfectly! He's a guru of windows! I would use him again without hesitation!

Danny replaced our window with a beautiful glass in minutes while we waited. Awesome guy and full of knowledge and very friendly!

Danny here is a Godsend for a guy like me who needed help on a Sunday in order to replace an old window in our home. Not only did he respond promptly to my online inquiry,, but he was so patient, gave me his cell number to contact him immediately and get him photos, and best of all - he had the glass in stock and was able to replace it for me at an amazing price -- the very same day! If you need windows or glass done, window hardware, I wouldn't hesitate to call Danny here at OC Window Restoration a call! Super honest, friendly, took his time, and did the work like a champ on a Sunday at his shop in Lake Forest! Thank you so much!!! A+++

I started a Yelp request regarding a window repair on a Sunday evening expecting to make some calls Monday morning but within the hour Dan from OC Window Restoration messaged me and offered to discuss. Although it was clear that repair would not be cost-effective he gave me a multitude of options to replace my window and saved me a lot of time researching the job. Now I have a clear path to thanks to Dan and would feel very confident in bringing my business to OC Window Restoration in the future.

Dan and his Assistants were so helpful! We had a bird fly into one of four windows above our dining room! What a mess! They measured the glass, ordered Tempered Glass and 2 days later all installed. Incredible!! Deirdre M.

Window fixed total 11 of them. And one sliding door

The contractor explained that he had not installed the doors because they were scratched. Seeking a solution, I reached out to Orange Mirror and Glass and spoke with Mike. He informed me that the doors should have been installed and later replaced if necessary. Mike promptly scheduled an appointment to take measurements for the new doors. Once the measurements were completed, I visited the showroom to explore available options. Although I originally had two mirrored doors, Mike recommended upgrading to a set of three mirrored glass doors. He explained that this would make the doors lighter and provide easier access to the closet. I agreed with his suggestion, and Mike prepared a detailed proposal, which he sent to me via email. Later that week, I received the proposal and was pleasantly surprised by the price. Orange Mirror and Glass quoted a cost that was 50% less than what my General Contractor had charged. I promptly signed the paperwork and paid half the amount via credit card to proceed with the order. On the day of installation, Orange Mirror and Glass arrived 15 minutes ahead of the scheduled appointment time. I appreciated their punctuality, as it is uncommon for contractors to arrive early. The team removed my old, heavy mirror doors from 1973 and installed the new frameless doors efficiently within approximately 30 minutes. Based on this positive experience, I have decided that Orange Mirror and Glass will be my preferred glass company for all future projects.

I really appreciated that they were willing to find a solution instead of making me feel pressured. The repair was completed professionally, and my sliding door works great now. I would definitely recommend Christian and Sliding Door Repair Company to anyone needing sliding door repairs.

I was in a deep sleep after having a chemo infusion the day before. When I answered the door, he complained that he had been knocking for a while, even though he had arrived well before the scheduled window. I expected to pay the diagnostic fee and get a professional opinion on servicing the retractable screen built into my sliding glass door or replacing the screen material itself. I knew this type of retractable screen might be difficult to work on, but instead of being offered any repair options, I was quickly told it couldn't be repaired and that my only choice was to spend more than $2,300 on a complete replacement. That's more than half the cost of replacing the entire sliding glass door. Between the early arrival, the technician's attitude, and the outrageous replacement quote, I genuinely don't understand how my experience aligns with the positive reviews I saw online. I'm not usually one to complain, but the entire experience was unbelievable.

Who knows how old that thin windowpane was in the upper half of that door, nor how many times had the wind slammed that sturdy door shut, but this time, it gave up the ghost and shattered glass all over my kitchen. Big, ugly, lethal looking shards. The door was essential to keeping the excessive heat and cold at bay. It was an inside door leading to an enclosed but uninsulated porch room, then to my garden. I didn't want a brand new, Home Depot door. This one was original to the house. I needed it to be fixed, and I needed it asap. So forget about my handyman hubby; his Hunny-do list is still longer than my Grandson's Xmas Wish List. Just sayin'. I looked for a referral from a trusted contractor we knew. And Jelco Glass (Nick) is the only name he gave me. Trust is most important. We brought the door to Nick, a real biggie decision that saved us about 1/2 of his original quote. Two days later, we were loading it back in our car. Tempered glass. Ah yes! Good for another century, and far less lethal should Mother Nature not play nice again. Sure, the door will need repainting. That will be another day. But the original quarter-round molding (with untold layers of ancient paint) that was holding the glass in, was carefully removed then reinstalled perfectly. My door is happy to have her ancient parts intact. I'm happy, too. Thanks Nick!

I described the door specifically and asked for someone experienced with Milgard. This company replied first and told me they work directly with Milgard and handle their repairs all the time, so I had them come out to measure and quote. The technician who came out did not seem familiar with how the door was built. Instead of getting the glass dimensions from the manufacturer or measuring the opening, he tried to pry off the interior trim to take his measurement. He started at the top left corner, in plain sight at eye level, and chipped the door, exposing the white fiberglass underneath. Then he did the same in the other three corners and again partway down the right side. Five spots in all, and he kept going after the first chip had already shown what the prying does. What makes it worse is where the damage landed. The chips are on the door itself, the fiberglass, which cannot simply be swapped out. The trim he was prying against is removable and replaceable, and it came through fine. He damaged the one part that is hard to replace and left the replaceable part intact. On top of that, he could not actually get the trim off, and proposed cutting it off and gluing it back on. The plan to cover the chips became repainting the door, and since it is a french door both panels would need painting to match. They asked me to source the correct Milgard paint myself. Their verbal price was also higher than what the job ultimately cost me, and the formal written quote they promised more than once never arrived. The company I ended up hiring removed the same trim in about 30 seconds, testing first in one discreet spot, with no damage to the door or the trim. That is the difference between a shop that knows this product and one that does not. I have patched the chips myself with epoxy putty and Milgard touch-up paint, but it is only a stopgap. The real irony is that the door now needs a full repaint to look whole again, not because the glass repair called for it, but purely because of the damage done during a visit to measure and quote. The damage was serious enough that I considered small claims court. One star (less if I could).
