Located in the heart of Arbutus. Very cozy inside and great place to get some work done or hangout. Staff is always friendly and coffee is great. I've been getting the seasonal Cinnamon Dolce Iced Latte and it's great. You can definitely get a cheaper drink at Dunkin down the street but would rather support local when we have the chance! read more

I'm so glad we have a good coffee place near my house now :) When I am in the mood for coffee, I normally gravitate towards Starbucks because I like their specialty drinks but alot of Starbucks drinks are too sugary, and the coffee isn't great quality. But I really like the taste of the coffee Oca Mocha uses and the specialty drinks are sweet, but they do it without going overboard. You can of course customize it to your liking anyway. My bf used to manage a cafe and he thinks the coffee is nice as well. Their menu is on the smaller side but everything I've tried so far, I've been pleased with. I like the simplicity of it. The building has a great atmosphere for UMBC students to study or people who need to work. It's pretty quiet during the day and you can concentrate. They also have space to rent for meetings I believe and a cute little art gallery you can check out upon entry into the cafe. As an artist, I probably appreciate that even more than most! I was so excited when I found out OCA Mocha was opening! I needed a great coffee place near me and OCA Mocha fills that need. I was here all the time during finals since it provided a great place to study and be with friends, as well as provide delicious coffee. I often order the Matcha, which is rich and not too sweet. Friend and I (two Seniors) decided to have lunch at OCA Mocha today at around 2:15 pm on a Sunday afternoon. It was our first time to eat there and a first time to eat out inside a restaurant after the COVID. We were surprised by the services that we received after we have read good reviews of this restaurant. I want to mention here is that the restaurant was not busy at the time. A young woman appeared have already finished her order, standing leaning against the glass window in front of the cashier counter talking to the cashier. We were standing behind her waiting for the cashier to recognize us to order our food. We must stood there approximately 5 minutes when the cashier and the women kept in engaging in their conversation. We finally got to order our food. Before I can remove my credit card out of the scanning machine, the machine asked me how much tip I wanted to pay. Thought from a minute, I hit "none" instead of 20%, 18% or 15%. To me, I pay tip based on the good services but not before and clearly it is a self service restaurant. Must because of the "no tip" choice that I made had caused the following poor services: 1) our cups of water had no ice in it, and, 2) no notices were given by the staff when our sandwiches were ready. They were in a brown bag sitting on the counter waiting for us to pick them up. My friend saw a brown bag sitting on the counter said that must be our food since no other customers in the restaurant. I asked if it was for us, a staff said yes. she also said:" we are closing in 30 minutes so you know..." Above was our experience with this restaurant. It was supposed to be a pleasure lunch for two friends get together but end up was a 5 minutes quick bit. I asked my friend if she would consider to come back again since she lives close by. she said "of course no". I said to her "let us cross out this place then". read more

Very cute café with a wide selection of food and drink, albeit kind of pricey. The staff are always really nice! I always come here to get work done and find it to be moderately quiet. They also have a community room that is awesome for those cram sessions when you really need to focus. Student discounts are also available as well as a frequent shopper punch card. Also, I just have a soft spot for local independent coffee shops and this one hits that spot perfectly. I love that it's on Main Street Arbutus and really hope to see more businesses like them. I have frequented OCA Mocha since they opened and they are consistently improving. The slogan "Where coffee meets community" is true. They host lovely live music events, have awesome free Kids Club Events for children, and of course have delicious drinks. Super friendly staff. Super clean space. Great coffee with a community mission and good food to accompany. Casual and relaxed environment to hangout with friends, have a meeting or pick up coffee and go. There's also a big meeting room in the back that you can reserve in advance so if you want to have a bigger gathering or meeting they can reserve and provide the food. I love this place!!!
