I am pretty disappointed. I just ran my new truck through the carwash for the first time and now it is scratched. The truck was muddy and they did not pressure wash off the granite and mud in the wheel wells and off the tires. When it went through the carwash the granite got caught on the brushes and scratched the paint and plastic on the new truck and probably the next couple of cars behind me. When I asked the attendant to rinse it better before going thru the wash she told me her manager said she was not allowed to wash off the mud. I should have known better and just left, but I let them run the truck through. Well now the paint and plastic is scratched on an expensive vehicle with under 3,000 miles. Like I said, I should have known better. However they should just refund your money and tell you to prewash the truck if they are not going to rinse it properly. This would have saved my paint and probably some other customers as well. read more

Nothing in particular that stands out that's seen. However a surprise is seen while pulling into the area to vacuum etc you'll see that this location offers a detailing section. It's nothing fancy for example it won't make your car look brand new since they use a moving floor while they clean inside your vehicle. They have 4-5 stations that your vehicle will go through as the staff at that station does they're part of the cleaning. They do an ok job since they weren't able to get dog hair out of carport. But I do know it's a hard and time consuming task. Otherwise they did a good job. If you having anything on the floors of your vehicle they will not move anything from where it is. They clean around it instead. But this isn't a surprise as other businesses do the same thing. I do recommend this location above all their other 6 locations. They are building a new location off Glassford Hill Rd which will be there 2 and only other location to offer the detailing. Pricing isn't cheap even on the monthly membership. It's a price of $29 more than my membership or $15 per visit without the membership. For $15 it's a good deal. read more

I noticed the complaint from June 2025 about the brushes ripping the mirror off the car. I've had my Lexus in numerous times and the brushes are so strong they flip the mirrors out. I've written in, told people there but they've done nothing. now I see they didn't pay for this persons mirror so I will cancel my monthly program as I don't want the same problem. read more

I took my wife's 2017 Land Rover through the Sheldon street car wash in Prescott Az. The big spinner brush tore the passenger mirror completely off the car. The attendant that was on duty filled out an incident report and said it would be taken care of, 5 weeks later they tell me that my car is to old and they're not going to do anything to help fix it. After talking to no less than 5 people I was informed they will do nothing for me - and the "authority" at this car wash said he's as high as I can go to resolve issue. Ocean blue car wash USED TO BE my favorite car wash until Today. Usually the people that work there are nice. The car wash today had trouble and I sat in line for 25 minutes. When I had no more time left and had to get out of line to return to work, the woman who worked there (tattoo on inside left forearm, approx. later 40's, brown hair, chubby) actually was intentionally blocking me I was right next to the exit. I've been taking my Jeep to Ocean Blue for over a year now. Today they had a new guy working and he forgot to "retract #12" which is the top spinner. They retract this one when you have a roof rack. Today, the new guy didn't and the spinner came down, bounced off the rack, came down again and grinded against it until it ripped the rack off and threw it towards the roof of my Jeep and down the back side. I filled out their incident report, which I gave all my info for (name, address, etc) but when I asked the GM his name he just said "Trea, you don't need my full name." I almost laughed. Here's a General Manager who doesn't want to identify himself? A GM! Then Trea tried to get me to sign something else - I asked what is it and he summarized and said "oh it's nothing, just that your vehicle is newer." So I read the paragraph..which stated they aren't liable for any damage. I told Trea "Nice try, I'm not signing this." Ya know, it's too bad, because Ocean Blue is a decent car wash..UNTIL they damager your car. Then they turn into scumbags real quick. I asked Trea for his bosses info, he said "His name is Brad, I'm not gonna tell you anything else." No number to call, no email, no full name. Their MO: something goes wrong - be vague, admit nothing, get rid of 'em. So Trea calls me a few hours later, he sounds happy on the phone.."So we're not responsible, your rack is after market and the rack is what caused the damage, not our equipment." So, your Ocean Blue employee forgot to retract the spinner, your Ocean Blue equipment rips my rack off and chucks it on my car and it's the rack's fault? Damage: deep gouges on the roof, ripped back light cover off and cracked light housing underneath, deep gouges/paint damage on the back side: estimate for paint/body work $3000. Don't go to these scumbags people. Yeah it's all fine for a while but just know if they damage your car they could care less. read more

Beware! If you have a problem or get stuck there's no way to get out without paying and no one there to help you. No way to just get one service. I had a kid still a milkshake in my car during a school field trip and I just needed to pull in quickly and shampoo One small spot of carpet. Nope, you have to go through the entire freaking car wash, and pay for the exterior wash to even get the options about getting the interior done. There was no attendant you can't back out, you get stuck with no way to escape without paying money, no one comes when you press the help button it is a circle of inescapable car wash hell with no attendant there to help you. Gave it a year worst month by far . every time I go in a new person another machine down vacuums suck farts. Don't clean my back glass it's the entire experience just sucks. They had a compressor problem that went on for a week. broke down while you were in line. No towels for 6 months vacuum inop .Went today. Closed for a party. What take! care of your customers. I bought a multiple car wash plan, went through the first time with my Tesla, and the front panel was still encrusted with bugs. The car was clean in places but that's not good enough. So I had to wash it anyway. I am cancelling the plan as a waste of money. On the other hand, the other Ocean Blue Car Wash, on Miller Valley Road, has an added service where they actually clean the front of the car and the interior, and that works for me. read more

This car wash has big $5 Car Wash signs and banners everywhere. You get up to the autopay station and the $5 option is in tiny print at the bottom. If there is an attendant you have to listen to a sales pitch for a monthly subscription. It's a total come on. The $5 wash is a rinse really. Your car will not get clean. It's just that simple. Still, I come here. My car is never that dirty and it's worth it to use the "free vacuum" and the high pressure air blower, in the roomy shaded stalls, to clean my interior and wheels. I just bring cloths, spray cleaner and towels, and spot clean the bejeezus out of my exterior and interior and I'm good to go. Much better than my driveway! NO mess. My husband and I went here for a car wash. First of all they charge alot for a basic wash which is The wave wash for $15.00. Then they have one of their workers try to talk you into a $19.99 a month program for unlimited washes. Then he said don't interrupt his speech. At that point I said NO I just want the wash. I went yesterday to wash my vehicle. I decided to purchase the $20.00 wash thinking that it would really clean the bugs off of the front. It ended up being terrible. So, I spoke to the attendant and he was very nice and said that they would let me take it back through. The 2nd time it went through was no different. The front looks like it wasn't touched. The attendant told me that I could wash the bugs off on my own and they they are an express service. I have never really had this problem at other express car washes. I will never go back there again. I would have expected for them to refund my money but that was not the case. Poor business! read more

Paid for the best car wash + interior cleaning. The exterior was okay, but wheels & tires not even touched. Probably wanted extra for that? The worst part is that most of the interior wasn't even touched. The only part that had some care was the dashboard and floor mats. I would say that the base wash is worth the money. Not impressed at all! I went in for a "Basic" wash. I asked for a BASIC wash. I was charged $9.00! I think the basic wash price was $6.00? I could have argued with the attendant but I figured I would get a better wash. The wash was mediocre. In essence, a poor basic wash which left the car with stripes of dirt areas and only about 70% dry. Unlike other similar car washes, they do not supply towels either. I was going to ask to have the car run through the car wash again but I was in a hurry. Maybe it was a bad day. I did try the wash again this time I paid for the basic wash myself. Colton was Spectacular. Helped me scan QR Code from my phone, no questions asked. Beyond polite and Helpful. Customer Service was beyond what I expected to receive from a Drive Thru Car Wash. I was more satisfied that I got to meet him than the Horrible job the did on my car. I got the best package they have which was around 30$ or so and my car came out dirtier than before I went through. Soap left all over my back window some spots of the car were not even wet. The girl who was spraying as I went in, literally spent 2 seconds on my front window and back, didnt even smile or look happy to be there. When I pay as much for a Drive Thru as I would a Hand Wash I expected to get at least a little more decent job. I know its fast paced and not 100% guaranteed but they seen it hadnt of done half my car and not even a next time on them or even to drive back through was offered. read more

Not a cheap plastic one, but one of chrome plated cast metal. Made an incident report and was told I would be called back later that day and if not, on the following Monday. NO PHONE CALL, which I think is personally rude as they don't obviously seem to care. I got the disclaimer talk and I told them the had a reponsibility to perform due diligence on their equipment. This shammy wheel at the end of the car wash is very dangerous as it has loops on this wheel that could catch anything on your vehicle. Finally, the carwash did a lousy job of cleaning my truck!!
