Food was delicious as always. The woman who is usually at the counter/register does have resting B-Face, I won't lie, but she's actually pretty nice. When she starts making small talk with us or our daughter she always let's out a gentle smile and makes our daughter smile too. The woman who busses the tables is also friendly/kind and she never seems annoyed when my daughter is noisy or messy, she just gives us a kind understanding smile. And before anyone judges, yes we do clean up her messes before we leave. Yes the food is great but I honestly think the best thing about this place is the family that runs it! You might not see it at first look but they are all kind people and definitely care about their customers. One time I went to get noodles but they were out and it was less than a half hr until they closed and the guy saw and said he could make some more real quick and I said no its fine, I know you guys are closing soon but thanks. I got my food and went back to the table with my husband and daughter and while I was eatting the guy came over with a big plate of noodles for me and smiled. I thanked him and felt super happy because it was so nice... Most places would be annoyed at people still being there so close to closing but he went in back and made a fresh batch of noodles for us even without us asking and right before closing, now thats some amazing customer service! read more

Have done takeout from this restaurant multiple times in the last 2 months. Have had the General Tso's chicken, various rices, lo mein, and other chicken and beef dishes. All of the food was very, very good. They also have very good egg rolls, and a nice range of desserts. I would definitely recommend eating there or doing takeout. Wish I could give a 0.... After reading all these reviews I thought it was just my mother in law and I. The woman in front running the register constantly scowls at me every time I walk in. She will not say anything to me now. Previously, she accused me of trying to steal food because I first said my son was 4 and I forgot he just turned 5 immediately catching my mistake while looking at my wife and two sons laughing. She got so angry and charged me for full price for all four of us. Clearly we have no idea the cost from 1-2 year olds to 4-5 year olds. This is just speculation as his price was the same as mine for dining in. During this discussion I told her both my son's birthdates and offered to show her their birth certificates. I will happily pass this place up to drive to Maggie's in Waterford because I simply cannot fathom how you treat a customer this way. Yet still be in business. I think 3.5 stars is more appropriate but that's not an option and I wanted to counter some of the low reviews. Look, idk what you expect from an American Chinese food place, they're all pretty much the same. Thick, corn syrup-y sauces, fried everything, sticky white rice. This place has all that, so if you hate that, then you'll probably hate it here. But their prices are pretty good and I've seen Chinese places have terrible fried rice and egg rolls, which is baffling bc you'd think those are their staples and how could you mess that up, but it seems it can be messed up. But those staples are fine here, imo. They're what I'd expect from such an establishment. I haven't eaten at the buffet so can't comment on that, only ordered takeout twice. Both meals were satisfactory, maybe even good. I think the first time I got king po chicken and I liked it. I guess I will say the pork egg rolls seem a little light on the pork. But they taste good. However, I mainly wanted to post for the rare person who also would want to order tofu/bean curd, as I occasionally do. It is breaded, which I personally don't care for. Great food We usually order about $60-$70 in food every 2 weeks from them its always good. Portions are a good size, the food is fast and fresh. We've ordered Pork fried egg fu young, chicken on a stick, egg drop soup, general tso, honey chicken, lo mein, fried rice, egg rolls, ect my picky kids ages 5 and 9 eat it so you know it's good lol. I have a client who swears by a place in meadville not anymore her favorite place to get Egg fu young has changed! Would give 0 stars if possible. Staff is unbelievably rude, when I went to pick up a take out order and she handed me the receipt to sign she watched me the entire time and her attitude drastically changed when she saw me write "0" as the tip. The place was dirty and unkept. The second you pull up outside you start second guessing about eating there and the feeling only gets worse as you walk inside. The food was horrible, one of the meals was so bad it wasn't edible and the rest of it you had to drench in sauce just to get it down. I'm giving a one star cuz they do have good food, that is if you can get it. Everytime we try ordering here it is a fight. My son doesn't like flavor so we ask for plain rice and chicken. How is this place still open. Lady is rude as hell, over the phone and in person. She kept screaming at me for a phone number which she never took from me. Nobody was in the building but me. Not even gonna lie this is some of the worst food i've ever had in my life. The sushi made us sick, the egg rolls were so dry, and the cleanliness was definitely not okay. I saw a little kid pick up the ice cream scooper and eat right out of it and put it back in and an employee said nothing. My friend asked an employee where to get the food she was eating on her break, and she dumped her half eaten food right on his plate! What?? That's actually so disgusting and weird.
