Have been a membership customer since this car wash opened. My wife also have a membership (not on the family plan). For the second time in the last week I have not been allowed access through the express lane (gate would not open). The attendant there said that the policy changed and that the bar code will not work anymore. They apparently switched to license plates vs the bar code. I have been OK even when the tire shine machine or the wax machine did not work. But the store will not answer the phone and the the people most hurt is going to be the car wash attendants present when entering the wash. I would give them a $5.00 tip each wash. Ironically, Ocean Express is still charging me $40/Mo., but I can't gain access to the wash. AND, by the way no one answers the phone at the corporate office either. read more

Ive been going to this particular carwash for 3 years or so and today, I experienced the most awful customer service anywhere in my life. The manger was rude, unprofessional, and when I asked for a his supervisor and/or owner he said he couldn't provide that information and then proceeded to tell me to leave when I waited over 10 minutes in the detail line to get service and other employees where containing to whistle to even gain his attention. I would give 0 stars but it won't let me give a review unless I give 1 star.Last month my elderly husband got a car wash and the guy signed him up for reoccurring monthly service without his consent and when I called the same day of the charge which was for the next month they refused to remove the charge by saying there is no way to stop the charges and it was just too bad.So I had to cancel our card and dispute the charge.Gonzalo said he was the mgr? I think they are taking advantage of the elderly and possibly committing fraud?We will never go back! read more

We've taken our vehicles here a few times and we've left satisfied. The employees are friendly, and the quick wash option is as cheap (but better) than any other automated service in town. I've discovered some minor missed spots (e.g. the wheels weren't scrubbed entirely in the wash), but I've also witnessed employees here take out my Weather Tech mats and scrub them until they're like new. Just moved to the area from Scotland, (where our local car wash charged £6 for a very basic wash, quick jet wash, wash with a soapy sponge & rinse - that's it) front of car absolutely covered in murdered insects, these boys really did a great job, spray prepped it, initial jet wash, spray soap, 2 guys cleaning it & jet wash rinse, then over to drying area, squeegee water off, then chammoiled down, door shuts & windows done, all for £8:00, absolutely brilliant, will certainly be back read more

Today had car washed thru carwash and requested carpet and seats shampooed as well as wax. Going thru carwash has always been good. As far as carpet shampooing its not shampooed its spray and brush and then blow air to remove moisture instead of vacuuming out what they spray on seats and carpet. As for the waxing they don't make sure theres no dirt so they just apply the wax on top of dirt and don't put wax every where they missed areas. I will continue to go there for just going thru the carwash but will not return for add on services. Not worth it. read more

The process is fairly simple and I really like the fact that they take the cash and card. The staff does walk around with their masks halfway down their face which is concerning in the middle of a pandemic however they are at least respectful enough to bring the mask up over their nose once a customer walks back up to their car. That is the only detail that really made me give them four stars instead of five. Overall they did an amazing job cleaning out my car, they wiped everything down and everything look brand new as soon as I hopped back in. They listened to my thorough instructions and followed them to a T, which I really appreciate. Fairly cheap as it was only $25 to get the inside vacuumed and wipe down as well as get the outside washed. I went on my lunch and it did take them about the whole hour so if you are on a time constraint and your car is pretty dirty I suggest waiting until you have free time after work. They have flexible hours as they start as early as 8 AM and continue up until 7 PM. read more

Paid for complete detailing package inside and out. Over $100. Ridiculous. The pictures are from after I pointed out what was paid for and not completed and he attempted to "complete" again. The drivers console had not been touched and had spilled coffee not cleaned. The back seats had not even been wiped as I got off multiple grey spots with just my finger. Multiple areas had not been vacuumed. Clearly, they had skipped many things that I had paid for. The technician used windex to clean my leather seats in front of me and I had to explain that he needed leather cleaner. He told me they didn't have any. Finally, I gave up and left with the car like this. Horrible experience. The technician waited for a tip. Really? I think you owe me my money back. read more

Paid for advanced services, ran truck through car wash and parked where I was instructed. They performed less than exeptable job cleaning and drying my truck, I walked their employ around the truck pointing out obvious dirt still left on my vehicle... meanwhile this person is muttering about doing their job. Basically if the machine didn't knock the dirt off( and my truck was just dusty) they don't feel as if they should do anything besides dry your truck. read more

Got my car done here a few times since Covid and they are always very diligent and detailed. They even organized the few things I had left in my car and were very thorough. No clue why the other reviews are so bad... if you can't tell that your car was cleaned or not your car must not have been very dirty to begin with LOL. On 03/16/22, I got my truck washed at the League City location. While going through the wash, the machine damaged a piece of weather strip on top of my truck to the point it was flapping around. I brought it to the attention of a worker who got the "manager on-duty". When the manager came to look at it he wasn't concerned at all and literally said "it's not a big deal". He also said, "that happens all the time". He turned and left, and I had to pursue him back to his office just to get a business card of someone who might possible be concerned. If this is a normal occurrence, maybe they need to make an change in their machines. I was able to get a business card for Colin Brown (Area Manager) and left a message at on 03/16/22, as of this post I still have not received a returned phone call. This company does not care about damaging your property and takes no responsibility in it. Unless you have a car you don't care about. Do not take your vehicle to get washed there. I have been to better drive through car washes that cost less. read more

I could have done a better job myself. I paid for the upgraded wash so my car would be detailed in the inside. It looked good when I got it but then I noticed they missed so many spots. I guess they pay attention to the drivers side so you realize the poor job they do on the rest. read more

Got the "full service" wash but it wasn't on the menu...which seemed odd. While it wasn't a detail service, they did a pretty good and thorough job. The downside was that it seemed to take a lot longer than comparable places. They took time to show me and explain some minor imperfections on my truck and what I could do to fix them, which tells me they really did a good job, because none of the other places I go to ever pointed them out. But the guys weren't sure if they offered the service there to get it fixed. For the convenience alone, I'm sure I'll go back, so I'll update the review after I return...since I think they're still working out some kinks and getting staff built up. Overall good place and nice to have a place closer to home...really dislike dealing with the traffic on Hwy 646 for the other place. read more

I went to Ocean Car Wash today to get my car washed and detailed. When I drove up a guy said before you decide which was you want there will be an additional $10 because if the bugs on the car. I drove away and will never return. Yes, there were some bugs on the windshield but nothing that would be abnormal. This place is pitiful. read more

This place was so close to getting 5 stars! This is a hybrid car wash offering a tunnel with self-serve vacuums, as well as detailing services. I tried Ocean with the self-serve option because I usually go to Blue Wave but had been less than impressed recently. The wash did a 9/10 job, the only disappointed part was that I got the $13 wash because that came with additional tire wash and shine and my tires ended up muddy. My car wasn't dirty because I just had it washed a week ago, so that was a little upsetting. Aside from that- no complaints! For being a tunnel most of my car looked great, and the gentleman explaining the packages and taking payment was very kind. I will return! read more

I don't know what happened to this place. They used to do a really good job washing your vehicle. I went there today and got a Full service car wash. I get inside the vehicle and I noticed my dashboard wasn't even wipe down there's dust and debris all over it still. On the outside of vehicle there still some spots where you see that clearly missed, on the windows on the side outside panels and on the hood. Come on guys, took me two seconds with a little elbow grease to clean off the bird shit that they blatantly missed! read more

I got a chance to try out the new Ocean Carwash place today on Highway 96, or League City Parkway. My truck needed a good wash so I decided to give them a try over the other place in town. I can say they really did a great job not only on the outside, but the inside as well. My tires and rims, even my running boards were spotless!!! I'm really impressed with them. It's just a little different than the other place though! You pull up to a gate and there will be someone there to guide you through what they offer. I just got the $25.00 package which covers about all I wanted inside and out, and a fragrance if you want one! You pay at the gate and give you a receipt and tape one to the inside of your windshield. You start in your vehicle and drive up to the entrance of the wash. You will be greeted by two people that will give your vehicle a wet brush job to knock off the obvious stuff. Also, at this point I want to remind you to pay attention to the light board on the left side of the entrance to the wash. It will remind you to put your vehicle in neutral, the chain the guide you into will pull your vehicle through!! They will then engage the chain to start you on your way through the wash, you just sit back and watch the show from inside your vehicle! Once you get through the blow dry, there is another light that will tell you when to GO!!! Then you pull your vehicle around and to the left up under one of the covered areas where they direct you to park and there they will take care of the inside of your vehicle will you wait in the customer waiting room at the front of the building! It was a very good experience and they did an amazing job! I'll be back again for sure! read more

They did a good job on exterior body paint, wheels , tires, carpet and mats. Although I expected a little better job for $25. Maybe I'm behind time on what one gets for that price? Didn't realize till got home that chrome on back bumper was still filthy. Front grille's chrome wasn't as clean as I'd have liked. No doors around had been wiped clean. The running boards weren't clean to my liking. I spent another hour on it to get it to my satisfaction. With what they and I did, Is a very nice looking F150 again. read more

I brought my car in yesterday and purchased a full service wash with a seat treatment. I had my two kids, 4 and 2 years old, with me. I didn't know until afterwards that the seat treatment would take about 2 hours, and anyone with young kids knows 2 hours sitting in one spot is next to impossible. George, the manager on duty, didn't hesitate to offer to let me come back another time and get the treatment done. They also did a fantastic job on the inside of my vehicle. The full service isn't a detail, but I wouldn't be able to tell by the job they did! This was my first experience here, so I'm very surprised and pleased with the quality of work they do. Their customer service is on point, their quality of work is on point, and their prices aren't too shabby either! I've always gone to Car Spa on Bay Area and left disappointed by the work done, but now I've found another car wash I can be loyal to. read more

Thought I'd give this place a try since Car Spa on Bay Area scratched up my hood and decided to never go there again. The lady at the front was definitely not happy to be there. I explained multiple times that I wanted to have the exterior, interior, and carpet cleaned. She tells me to turn on my hazards. Why? I have no idea. Then doesn't even tell me where I needed to go and nobody was at the end of the car wash to tell me where to park to get the vehicle wiped down. After paying $45, I was pretty disappointed. The interior wasn't wiped down and the exterior was a disappointment with the amount of money I paid. It still had grime around the bumpers, on the spoiler, the body seams, on the side mirrors, and the edges of the windows that can only be cleaned by rolling down the windows part way. The wheels weren't even completely wiped down as well. The more I think about it, the more upset I get because it was my first time there and I expected more for $45. Won't return unless major changes are made. read more

After an average car wash the attendance would not let you borrow a rag to get the rest of dirt off the car. There are no signs that say you need to bring your own rag! The scam is to sell more services after an overpriced car wash. All other places have staff prices to wipe down the car after the wash. Not so here. If you like an average car wash I want to spend another $30 or $40 to pay someone to do what should be included in the wash this is your place. read more
