Ocean Glow Spa offers great head spa and facial treatments. Prior to head spa treatments, they use an electronic magnification device to see what the scalp looks like. I was able to view my scalp on the screen. Initially it had a lot of buildup and irritation. The head spa treatment was customized based on what they saw. I received the treatment in a private room. The treatment totally relaxes the head and scalp- The magnification device was used again after the treatment. What a difference!. My scalp looked clean and felt so good. Last time when I came here, my mom also got the head spa treatment. She was really surprised when she saw the difference in how her scalp looked after the cosmetologist finished her treatment My facial was also excellent. My skin felt smoother and had a nice glow following the hydrodiamond treatment. I've been to Ocean Glow Spa a few times now and I'm always impressed with the individual attention that I get. I like that they have private rooms for individual clients. I really like their use of Chinese herbs and their holistic approach. Grand opening specials were better than Groupon deal - just call or book online! $99 for 90 min scalp treatment + facial. Very thorough, cool suction deep cleanse facial. Terrible. Just terrible. I left so disappointed. My lady, though she was nice, did not talk me throughout the process and I hated how tangled my hair was getting when she shampooed my hair over and over. My hairdresser gives a better 5 minute head massage. Even the blow drying was terrible. She was blowing hot air on my face more than half the time and she only did it for 3 minutes. Then she started brushing my hair (starting at the top going down). The look on my face said it all when she was pulling on my tangled hair with her brush. It's the frizziest and driest my hair has ever been. I should disclose, I have curly hair so maybe they just don't know how to treat it properly. But it's safe to say that I will never recommend or be returning here again. Do your research and go to a place that has more experience even if you have to pay a few extra dollars. read more

Nice environment but very bad service. I paid for a facial and they forgot to give me the facial and last minute just put a mask on me and some steam. The First Lady helping me got up and spent 10 minutes in the phone with a client and the Second Lady helping me didn't complete the service and they just quickly did a few things. They basically charged me for a service they didn't provide. read more

I had my first ever hair, scalp, neck and shoulder deluxe spa treatment today by Gina and it was wonderful. The appt. was for 1 hour and Gina made sure I was comfortable and she did a very thorough job. My scalp and hair feel very healthy and clean. The products are natural Chinese herbs without the harsh chemicals found in so many products. I will plan a monthly visit there and look forward to seeing and feeling the results in the months to come. The spa is clean, modern and welcoming. Very friendly staff! read more

I have to give it a one star the lady that gave me a facial was the only good thing out of it, which was minutes. It wasn't really a long, nice facial and she shampooed my hair with what felt like Garnier cheapest shampoo possible cause I've used it before, and it made my hair dry and scalp dry for days frizzy unhealthy, and I can't even tell you how upset I am. I called her back to let her know and I feel she's completely unprofessional. She acted like she didn't remember me and this was like three days ago anyhow, I was hoping for her to offer a free facial or refund me partial, but she didn't offer and of course she didn't. She never gave me my scalp results. She had the machine there when she was drying my hair for a few seconds I'm glad she agreed not to fully dry it. I could feel like my hair was shampooed over and over and it was just too much. It's almost like she wanted to do the opposite of creating a beautiful hair result. because what she did was just unacceptable I felt like she didn't even put any treatment or conditioner. My hair was frizzy for days and still my concern was I woke up with a bad headache. This is why I called her. I had bumps on my scalp and my neck. My head hurt for days for about three days. Gina was great! She was so sweet and took great care of my head and hair! I got a scalp treatment and the whole process was a little over an hour long and it was so nice and relaxing.
