Every time I have gone to this place something has gone wrong. The technicians do not care one bit about what you want. Just this last time I left with half my finger nails bleeding because he kept cutting back my cuticles after me asking him multiple times to stop. I should have left almost immediately but I stayed for a pedicure where I left with an infection on my big toe. I went back a couple of days later to explain what had happened and all I got was a bunch of excuses. There are so many better places near by. read more

I will never go back! It was the worst gel manicure I have ever received. The nail tech kept trimming my cuticles until I bled. I had air bubbles on two nails that I didn't realize were there until after I left. The tech's blouse was covered with food stains, the walls were filthy. I went here because it was close to my work. I will stick with Pinky's Nails on Carefree Highway from now on. They are always top notch! read more

I'd give this place zero stars if I could. The old guy who works up in the front was rude, and spoke in Vietnamese the whole time. He didnt realise that I was vietnamese (i dont look the part) so he was talking about me to another employee. He did not make any interaction the whole time. It was one nail fix, didn't even look like he fixed it.. Honestly it looked better when it was broken than after he fixed the nail, there was a crack on the side. From what I had poked up from the conversation, he wasn't very thrilled that I came in only for a "cheap nail fix", and he assumed that I was "sent away by another nail salon". I wish I would've have spoke up and told him that matter of fact I am actually a nail technical as well and normally do my own nails however, i didn't have time to fix the nail myself. Went for the first time on Saturday after being treated very rudely at a place up the street. They are professional, nice and very good. I hadn't gotten a pedi in a few months and have slight complications with my two big toe nails yet they had absolutely no issues with doing a great job. I will definitely go back! read more

I had been going to this salon for nearly 4 years and the last 3 pedicures I've gotten here from Nancy were not good, chipped within a week, but my last experience had me walk out. I've always booked my appointments ahead of time because they do get quite busy but when I booked two pedicures, one for my mom and one for myself and we arrived on time they tell me that it's going to be a 20 minute wait. Since I had been going to Nancy she assumed I was getting a pedicure with her and I specifically told the girl when I booked I don't want Nancy, and she made a big fuss when I got there saying I was her I client, when I wanted to try someone else. On top of that, I was fed up with being told I would have to wait after being a loyal customer and always booking an appointment ahead of time and always paying cash (which they love). Now I understand things happen and not everyone is on time but they always take down your phone number when you make your appt so they should have had the decency to call me and let me know it would be delayed. Common courtesy! I'm sick of the way the ladies who work there judge you by what handbag you're carrying and what shoes you're wearing they literally look you up and down. Disgusting! I'm not returning to this establishment. You've lost a loyal customer. read more

Good and bad, be selective of who you go to. Some of the technicians do an awesome job and are super friendly. I go to Lisa for my gel manicure and she does an amazing job every time. I get pedicures from a lady named "To" and she is also amazing and I've been going to her for years. HOWEVER I had an awful experience with Nancy and Kelly. Avoid at all cost. My regular manicure lady (Lisa) was out of town so I had no choice but to try someone new. I went to Nancy and she was nice but did an absolute terrible filling job. I asked for short and square nails and she made them crooked and ugly. I kindly asked her to fix some nails and she got annoyed and hands ME the filler and says "do it yourself" are you kidding me? I'm paying you and you're doing a half ass job. I politely asked her to have someone else do my nails after the way she treated me. That's when I got Kelly and she did a mediocre job (Lisa does so much better) and was giving me attitude the whole time. So disrespectful. Avoid those two and go to Lisa and To instead they're amazing!! read more

Have been going here for years, and have been cut a couple of times. But during a recent pedicure, I was cut pretty badly on my heel and toe. The technician poured alcohol on it. Didn't apologize. The pain was so bad that it affected my driving (right foot) for a couple of days. The pedicure hasn't even lasted 3 days - - already chipping. This salon has gotten very careless and cheap. The lady who first did my nails was really nice. I believe V was her name. So this was my third time returning to this place and only because I needed a polish change. Two weeks ago, I was in on a rainy day getting my regular dip and pedi. It started off them not even matching the polish like I asked for and they let me walk out in those foam sandals they give you when you wear tennis shoes or some other shoe that may damage the polish. So of course, walking in the rain I damaged the polish. I came back two weeks later and asked if they can fix it. First they greet me with "are you sure they did this here?" And points carelessly at the wall of polish n says "well if you can find the color" extremely rude to a high paying customer (each visit I pay a minimum of $80) not including the tip I give each tech that does my hands or feet. So after them changing my polish, I'm getting ready to leave they say "$10" I polite fully say "I was just here, im a high paying customer" "I'll tip but I don't think I should have to pay another $10" he waves his hands at me rudely and says "yeah well tip $5" needless to say I am never going back here. Worst customer service I have seen at a nail shop. read more

Every time I come to this salon I remember why I was unhappy the last time I was here. When I ask them not to cut my nails, they file them too short anyways. I ask for rounded nails, and end up with square, then I get an attitude and dirty look when I ask them to change or fix them. Many of the technicians are rough, and several have been sloppy and or careless with the polish. One lady painted my nails with a gap between the polish and cuticle so it looked like they had already been grown out for a week and she hadn't even put the top coat on yet. The only reason I'm giving them a second star is because the girl who just did my toes was friendly and did a decent job, and generally you can get nails and toes done at the same time and be done in an hour. But from now on, I'll drive the extra few miles for a better experience and much better end result. read more
