My daughter very kindly booked a facial at Sherman Oaks Galleria. I used all the facilities…read morewhich were great. I then had a facial with Mandy which was the best facial I have ever had, and I did not want the treatment to end. Thank you Mandy!

I've been a Burke Williams member for years -- mostly visiting the Hollywood location, and more…read morerecently Woodland Hills since moving to the Valley. A friend recommended the Sherman Oaks branch, so I emailed the manager ahead of time for therapist recommendations. First impression: if it's your first time here, finding the location can be confusing. There aren't any large Burke Williams signs, and I actually had to call the branch to confirm they were inside the mall area. Parking is also a bit of a walk, and signage could definitely be improved. For reference, they're located next to 24 Hour Fitness on the second floor, Building A. Once inside, though, the experience improved immediately. I was greeted right away by two friendly receptionists, and check-in was quick and easy. Since it was my first time at this location, I asked if someone could show me around -- honestly, that probably should've been offered proactively. The men's spa attendant gave me a tour, and the interior reminded me a lot of the West Hollywood location: darker, older, and more traditional in style. One thing another Yelper mentioned was absolutely true -- the place feels like a maze, especially since the massage rooms are upstairs on another level. My therapist, Giovanni, was great. He asked about my preferred pressure before the session started, although he didn't really check in during the massage itself. That said, he definitely has his own massage style, and overall I enjoyed the treatment. The men's spa area was surprisingly quiet, which made for a peaceful experience. The steam room wasn't quite hot enough for me, so I ended up spending more time in the sauna instead. Overall, I had a nice experience and would come back. Just a heads-up about parking: it's validated at a discounted rate, but if you stay longer, it can add up. Hollywood still has the best parking situation since it's free, while Woodland Hills offers a flat $3 rate.

First time getting a Russian pedicure & it will NOT be my last! Officially converted!…read more Sabina took me in as practically a walk in & my oh my, was she the SWEETEST! Very knowledgeable, walked me through everything (since it was my 1st time) & even recommended me to a podiatrist around the corner from the salon (I suffer from ingrowns!) The vibe here is 100/10. It's a nice little oasis, the music is chill enough but also, vibey. The decor here is CUTE! I felt such peace as soon as I walked in! You really forget you're on the busy Ventura Blvd in this little oasis. Will be returning soon!

I decided to give this Nail salon a try, it had been a few weeks since I last got my nails done…read more When I arrived, they offered me coffee/water. I asked for water, and they brought it in a regular glass mug--something I found concerning for hygiene reasons. At a nail salon, it would be much safer and more sanitary to provide bottled water or disposable cups for customers. My Gel pedicure was done very quickly less t 30 minutes it felt rushed. The cuticles weren't properly trimmed, and the nails weren't deep-cleaned, which is unusual compared to other gel pedicures I've had that usually take 45-60 minutes. My Gel mani was similar- the nail polish had to be applied and removed several times, made it seem like the nail technician might not have been very experienced. Again, cuticles weren't addressed, and the process felt hurried. The salon itself is beautiful, and the aesthetic is lovely, but the service left me disappointed. I was hoping for a relaxing experience, and instead it felt rushed and just awkward vibes.
