The worst experience I have ever had at a dealership. My husband and I wanted stop into this awful place to test drive and purchase the new CX-70 . We searched the parking lot looking for one, 2 salesmen walked out and felt like chatting amongst themselves was more important than helping us. After not being able to find the CX-70 we went inside the dealership, walked around and had more than 5 different salesman look at us and said nothing! Not a smile, hello or even a head nod. I contacted Ocean Mazda to obtain pricing for an oil change. Personnel could NOT tell me over the phone what their prices were. We purchased our Mazda from them and have used their service department for oil changes etc.. I commented about their lack of customer service/support and received the following text. "Sorry about that, Xxxxxx - I can have our service team email you the exact fully synthetic oil change pricing, current specials (including senior info) and our coupon policy. Is xxxxxx@gmail.com the best email to send to, and is there a best time for them to call or follow up?" I affirmed my email address and waited one week for pricing information. This is not the first time I failed to get pricing info. I went somewhere else for service. Unfortunately I have such a bad taste about this exercise I don't ever want to go back. I made reservation online for AC service. Was told on arrival the website was wrong and they no longer offered the $74.99 service -was now $350+. I would give "0" stars but the system would not allow it. I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Oceans Mazda in Roswell (11185 Alpharetta Highway). On May 5, 2025, I visited their lot to view a Subaru for my daughter to take to college. After test driving the car, I placed a deposit in good faith, fully expecting a transparent and fair process around financing--whether through them or on my own. Instead, without any communication or courtesy, the vehicle was sold out from under me. I was never contacted, never consulted about financing options, and never given a chance to secure my own financing. Even worse, they kept my deposit. A week later, I followed up and was told I would receive a refund. Today is May 24, 2025--and I still have not been refunded. Oceans Mazda claims to be a family-owned dealership that "puts the customer first," listens, understands, and provides a stress-free car buying experience. Based on my experience, this could not be further from the truth. I felt misled, disrespected, and completely disregarded as a customer. I urge anyone considering doing business with Oceans Mazda to think twice. This dealership did not act with integrity, and they clearly do not live up to their stated values. Being a repeat and loyal customer of Mazda, I'm pretty disappointed to write this review. But, I'm writing it hoping the management takes notice and makes the much needed changes. Customer service: Phone calls at the service center go unanswered, sometimes for days. Mazda: Please employ a person to attend them if you'd like to get business from both new & repeat customers Nobody greets the customers or offers apologies for the unbelievable wait times (2.5 hours is a record time for an oil change) especially after booking an appointment weeks ago. Mazda: Please notify customers about the wait time by calling them ahead. This saves everyone time, effort and unnecessary stress. Fair prices: Like other reviewers have complained, they don't offer the best prices around. A huge area for improvement. Refreshments: The bare minimum that can be offered are some snacks and water while customers wait for 3 hours. Again, no apologies were offered. I recently bought a car from Ocean Mazda Roswell, and overall, it was a really good experience. The process took some time and involved quite a bit of back and forth, but to be fair, I came in with some pretty specific requests, and in the end, I walked away with everything I wanted. Jack, the salesperson I worked with, was great: friendly, patient, and very knowledgeable. Everyone I interacted with was polite and genuinely seemed focused on helping me leave with a car I loved at a price I felt good about. One thing that really stood out was their maintenance program. Every purchase comes with at least three years of service, which is a huge plus. Even though I live about an hour away, I'll definitely be coming back here for maintenance because it's worth the drive. My wife and I bought a used car from Ocean on July 2, 2026. It's been a month and I can't get anyone to respond. I have literally called 13 times and I have had only one person call me back (Aaron, who is great). Overall, the dealership is clean and looks good, and the employees I have come across have been very friendly. But no one returns a call. In a few days I have to make my first loan payment on a car I have never driven. They said that there is something they want to fix before I take possession of the car, and I completely understand and respect that. But I simply want to know what they are doing and how long it will take. It has been incredibly frustrating and I am in the process of filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (maybe they will respond to that, because they haven't responded to me, even though literally a dozen people have promised to get back with me the next day. But aside from Aaron, no one has ever reached out to me. The car we purchased in a 2017 Genesis G80, and they told me that because their service department works on Mazda's, they don't have anyone to do the repair work on the car. They told me that there was someone who was working on it, but he was fired (perhaps he damaged something on our car, which would explain the delay and the lack of any direction. read more

I've dealt with hundreds of car dealerships. Ocean Mazda Roswell is the sleaziest I've come across. My sales person was Nick T. He lied about DMV registration costs. When called out on it, he simply did not acknowledge his lie. He said if I pay the $1000 non-refundable deposit and there were issues with the pre-purchase inspection, they would repair all of it at no charge. When I said "ok, let's put it in writing", he shut his mouth and proceeded to move onto the next lie. He then verbally agreed to do a refundable deposit, then proceeded to intentionally leave the text out of the deposit form. This behavior directly reflects management, as he had to keep placing me on hold to get manager approval. These guys are more interested in stealing deposit money than anything else. This is a consistent theme if you read through their old yelp page, which has over 200 reviews. read more

Buyer Beware! !!!! I purchased my Mazda from this location in 2024. I have never owned a Mazda before and I will NEVER buy one again!! Shortly after my purchase the management changed and since then the customer service has gone WAY down hill! Liam the service manager has a terrible attitude towards his customers and is not helpful at all! He promised me a call back in one week on a warranty issue and never returned my call so I reached out to his staff who promised me my issue was able to be covered under warranty via an e-mail and text message. After making an appointment, dropping off my car and waiting for 2 hours I was told it was not covered under warranty and Liam said I should have know that and his employee told me the wrong information after it have been provided to me in writing. I even spent months trying to work it out with Mazda Customer Service and they were no help because they stated it would be up to the dealership to provide a "goodwill" gesture and make it right and they were not willing to do that even though their employee made a mistake!! If you own a Mazda take it to Kennesaw Mazda, they know how to take care of an appreciate their customers!! read more

After reading the reviews for this dealership I had pretty much written them off. Lamaia contacted me about wanting to work with me on a deal. I initially wanted to purchase a late model used but when my search came up fruitless she offered a lease with terms that was within my budget. The salesperson I worked with was persistent but not obnoxious. She was instrumental in my giving Ocean Mazda a second look. After speaking with Lamaia she was able to craft a deal that was acceptable to me. I had visited several dealers and Lamaia was the only salesperson that was able to earn my business. As this is my first lease I will be back in 3 years with another review upon returning or purchasing the vehicle. If I could choose zero stars, I would. I have been a customer of Mazda of Roswell since 2017 and was very happy with them. The new owners, Ocean Mazda, stink. I took my 2023 Mazda CX50 in for two routine services, where I specifically requested they look at my car's battery because the i-stop feature stopped working and the dashboard lights were on indicating there was a problem. Both times they told me there was no issue with the battery. The second time, they simply "cleared" the warning sign off of the dash. Two days later, my car wouldn't start. Because these are special batteries, neither my husband nor the tow truck driver could simply jump start my car. I had to get my car towed 50+ miles to the nearest Mazda dealership (not Ocean) to have them tell me that my battery was dead and needed to be replaced. Even though this could have been avoided by Ocean, they are refusing to reimburse me for my tow. It looks like this is my 7th (and final) Mazda car. read more
