Wow. What a manager. This is embarrassing. Imagine getting bad reviews and doing this. Not changing my review. I've literally had to update this review THREE times now because the manager will not stop harassing me. You got a bad review. It is about YOUR salon. No one else's. There's no mistake. I am not calling you. The review is staying up. Learn to handle bad reviews better. This is embarrassing for your business.

Such a great experience at Ocean NailBar. I went as a walk in; I asked for dip with tips and got exactly what I wanted. This place was very clean, comfortable and all the staff were very professional & welcoming. I have no complaints. My girl Chrissy was very tentative and asked how everything looked every step. My nails came out perfect and I can't wait to go back for my next set! I definitely recommend coming to this nail salon.

If you are a local: do not come here. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I came here because my other amazing nail place is closed for construction, so I thought I'd support the one down the street and that was a complete mistake. I got a full set and a pedicure. The woman doing the pedicure did a great job but the woman Tracy doing my nails was already aggressive the second I sat down in the chair. She was yanking my hands and was filing my nails down so fast she sliced my finger open and it was gushing blood for a minute. Not even a sorry or stop the service to make sure I was good to clean and disinfect the area or my finger. Which as a licensed esthetician is what you are supposed to do, I know because I am one. She proceeded to grab my finger she sliced open and continue the service when I told her multiple times that's the one she cut open. I got charged full price for this terrible experience too, even with paint still all over my fingers. So do yourself a favor and go to Star nails down the street and not this tourist trap. So disappointed.

I think this was the BEST manicure and pedicure I have ever had! This place is so clean, organized, and located right on PCH. Let me tell you that my positive experience at this spa literally started from the moment I called to find out the prices and if they had an available appointment. Jennifer was so polite, kind, and patient on the phone. I really value customer service and this truly welcoming attitude I felt over the phone just continued as I stepped into this location. Jennifer warmly greeted me, Amber and Lisa did my gel manicure and spa pedicure. They were all so thorough, kind, and took care of me so well! They didn't seem rushed at all and they really cared about making sure I had a good experience. They were both very experienced and were really methodical with servicing me. This might be TMI but both of my big toenails were messed up. One was cracked and the other really torn and kept getting stuck on blankets, socks, etc. So that is one of the reasons I wanted a pedicure. They did a great job fixing both of these nails for me and I can't even tell that they were in such bad shape to begin with. If you are in or near Laguna Beach and want to really get your money's worth, I highly recommend you visit this nail spa... You will have no regrets! Thank you Ocean NailBar once again and I wish you much continued success!

Dip manicure easily popped off in one piece 3 days after getting it. What a joke. Super damaging to my nails.

My DIP manicure came off like stick ons. Horrible! I went on Saturday with my friends and here on Tuesday 7 of my dip nails have popped off in one piece. They started lifting the next day. It's only been 3 days. And it wasn't cheap either. $57 for dip manicure only. Super disappointed and won't be returning to let them "fix it". They ruined my nails.

My favorite nail spa by far! Everyone is always super friendly and their services are on point. Joann gave me a solid first set with pink dreamy nails on gel. Kim has given me flawless designs on funky fresh matte & metallic. She's definitely on point and super nice! Spa pedicures are relaxing and done really well. Eyebrow wax is perfect! I went in with bushy brows and came out with eyebrows on flek ! Definitely returning and a very happy customer.

Loved this place! Came down to Laguna for a weekend away, staying at a nearby hotel and really wanted a nice, reasonably priced mani/pedi. Lisa was wonderful and the whole rest of the staff was so nice! Great experience, will def go again if in Laguna. Get a vacation mani here!! :-) read more

I came to get a pedi and dip powder nails. I received awesome service. Jeniffer was very professional and did exactly what I asked for. I have been burned by Bad low quality salons before but this salon is very clean and the equipment is sterile. My friend and I made a spur of the moment decision to get brunch and our nails done in the Laguna area after she completed her triathalon in Mission Viejo earlier that morning. There were quite a few girls there getting their nails and eyebrows done when we arrived, but Ocean NailBar happily accepted our walk-in. We were welcomed with cold water since it was a pretty warm day. After we picked out the colors we wanted, we were asked to choose a spa station. Let me tell you--they have the comfiest spa chairs ever. I did not want to leave my seat when we were done! Cathy gave most detailed and relaxing pedicure ever. She periodically asked how everything was, which I appreciate. Everything was amazing and I had no issues with anything. The lady who did my manicure also did an amazing job. She layered multiple layers of polish to ensure a longer-lasting manicure. To wrap things up - this is all you really need to know: + Everything is new and clean + Friendly and amazing customer service + Free parking validation - safe underground parking garage (hard to find free parking in Laguna) + One stop shop for all your beauty needs - so many kinds of services provided! + Prime location across the street from the beach Without a doubt, girls day was a success! Great new nail salon! A little hard to find using google maps but all the ladies made me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived. Everything was so clean! They didn't rush me at all and took their time to do a great job. I got a mani/pedi and it was very nice. I don't live in Laguna, but I might make the drive for my nails from now on. BEST mani/pedi of my LIFE!!! I travel for work and have stumbled into a number of nail shops across the country over the years. My experiences are typically decent but nothing to write home about-- that changed today. The entire staff here was so warm & welcoming, the place is brand new and sparkling clean, and my nails turned out PERFECT! Brought my girlfriend here to get her nails done, we are only here for vacation. Tracy did her nails n was very aggressive. Rolling her eyes , sighing, not listening to my girlfriend telling her that she was DRILLING HER SKIN, She proceeded to act like she was doing nothing wrong. My girlfriend ended up bleeding on a few fingers. No apologies just more aggression. Would give a zero star if I could. Already seen reviews on Tracy with the same problem. Don't get your nails done by Tracy. read more

Love this new nail bar! I went in for a gel manicure and regular pedicure and was so impressed. Lena did my gel nails and they look amazing! She was quick and throrough and shaped my nails just how I like them. My cuticles were done perfectly too. Jennifer did my toes and callus removal and she did amazing as well! Both made great conversation with me throughout. The whole experience exceeded expectations and I will definitely be back again! Highly recommend them. Prices are very reasonable and they offer a first client special too! read more

Pedicure massage chairs were comfortable and very good. They also offered a little red wine which was PERFECT. My fiancée and I both got Royal Pedicures ($40) and IT WAS AMAZING and just what we needed to relax. Tracy and Kathy were wonderful and friendly. The salon is very nice as far as aesthetics go. But the customer service and service itself is terrible- especially for the price. $55 for a mani pedi with sea salt scrub and callous remover. The man that worked on me was not remotely interested in being there. He was more interested in finishing so that he could get on his phone. He made me bleed and even asked if I wanted a second coat (is that even a question?). The lady upfront wasn't interested either very unfriendly - watching tv and cutting her nails. My young daughter had a kids mani pedi - $40- but they didn't bother to massage her feet. For that that price, I would at least expect that .. just all around disappointing for the price. We won't be back. read more

This was my first visit to Ocean Nail Bar. My daughter and I went for mani/pedi's yesterday, and from the moment we walked in - we were very pleasantly surprised. The nail technicians did a wonderful job! My nails haven't looked this pretty in a long time. The shape is perfect, and the polish job is perfect. The salon is also very elegantly decorated, and very organized. The chairs are a pretty "Tiffany Blue" color, which is a nice touch. The salon is also very spacious, and very clean - with large, sparkling clean picture windows. This tells me that the owners are meticulous, and that they care about their client's experience while at the salon. I will definitely return to Ocean Nail Bar in the future! read more

Enjoyed my time at Ocean NailBar! The ladies were extremely welcoming and did a great job. I went with the Royal pedicure package and my feet and legs are so silky smooth. We received a complimentary water while enjoying the AMAZING massage chairs. The location had a parking garage in the back that is free with validation, making it convenient. The restroom was well taken care of. Impressed with this salon and will definitely come back! read more

Visiting from NorCal & went in on impulse because of the special sale for facial & nails. Their prices are surprisingly very reasonable, even without the sale. Jennifer gave me an amazing facial treatment and I also had a great hands and feet massage with mani/pedi combo. The atmosphere is fun and friendly. They also offer beer & wine, in addition to bottle water!!! Will definitely come again when I'm back in SoCal again!!! read more

I went to this nail shop for the first time and had manicure and pedicure with Linda and Lora. They both did a very good job. They are very friendly and nice people. I also had a full body massage with hot stone by Lina. She was great and I definitely recommend her for massage and also manicure (fill). I've been to few nail shops in laguna beach and came home unsatisfied with all of them. Ocean nail shop was the opposite and I went home very satisfied with the work they've done. read more

The strength of the Gel-X is impressive--they last me over 4 weeks with no chipping or lifting. Plus, they can do pretty much any design you can think of. I've had some pretty intricate designs, and every single one turned out exactly how I wanted. Another bonus is the location. It's super convenient with lots of parking, which makes getting in and out easy.

This place is simply amazing!!!! Found this hidden gem while visiting Laguna Beach and I'm sure glad I did! It's a newer salon in the area so everything is brand new and very clean! I've been to many nail salons and this one beats them all. The owner (Jennifer) was so kind to show me all the color choices with high end products such as Orly and OPI and she gave the most relaxing and best pedicure ever! The lady who did my nails also did a wonderful job, she took her time and asked me throughout my service if I was satisfied with everything. We went for gel and dip manicures when we were on vacation. The gel and the powder manicures started chipping, cracking and coming off two days after getting them done. For the gel manicure, they did not even do the cuticles, soak hands in the water or put any lotion or oil on. Very disappointing. Once we were back in LA, we had to go get them redone somewhere else because they looked so awful. read more

This is a good nail salon! Everyone is friendly and welcoming. I was late for my scheduled appointment due to driving down from Los Angeles, but they took very good care of me. My gel manicure was done with care and my pedicure with the 10 minute massage was heavenly. Tracy does a great job! This was a day of pampering for me and I loved every minute. Best facial ever!! Jennifer is fantastic! Her facials give results and the experience is lovely. Her salon in Laguna Beach gives customers a total pampering experience. The attention and the efforts for clients make you feel special. Prices are reasonable and her staff are all lovely. Parking is easy.
