As a stubborn DIY nails person (that ended up terrible for my nails ), I came here upon a friends recommendation and can't speak highly enough of Katie. I walked in apprehensive of getting in on V-day - was catered to promptly for a pedi and gel x mani - Katie was so kind and helpful regarding how to make my nails look beautiful now and keeping them that way! I weent here yesterday for the first time and youd think they would treat me as a new client- i walked in cuz i had two slits on the corners of my thumb that needed to be repaired. so the lady of the shop said here he is the guy hes our technician and he can help... I was simply trying to get a repair as well as my nails done. he was tall and the only male he whipped through my nails likethe world was gonna colapse- he then attempted to repar what looked like super glue r a form of it never filed it down or anything, then he went on to another customer without completing my nails it was very strange the lady who did my toes in preperatiogn with Ryan said she would finish! what a catastrophy. pay attention this was a complete waste of time and money! jewels read more

I came in to Laguna Nails & Spa to have my nails done the day before my wedding. Katie and her team are excellent! They were so sweet and really went above and beyond to make sure my nails were perfect. Katie took her time with me and tested out three different colors to make sure I was happy before applying polish. I prefer regular nail polish rather than gel, and I don't know how but Katie worked her magic and they haven't chipped even days later! The environment of the nail salon is also very relaxing and in a great location. I will definitely come back to have my nails done any time I'm in the Laguna area! This is by far the best nail salon experience I've had. read more

Katie and the Ladies at Laguna Nails & Spa are MORE THAN professional. My husband and I had been going for Manicures and Pedicures there for several years before Bill was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia. For the 5 years following his diagnosis, as his symptoms progressed, Katie would meet us at the car and walk Bill to his chair. They ALL spoiled him monthly, and also sang happy birthday to him the month before he passed. I love these ladies, each and every one of them. read more

Nice nail salon in LB, nice staff, you can book online, the nail techs don't talk about you in their native language. They offer a variety of spa services. I've only done mani and pedis and so far all staff have done a very good job, no wait if you have an appointment and they will paint a regular French unlike Blu Nail Salon at fashion island. First time customer. Paid $80 for gel mani pedi. My nails were done here two days ago. My biggest complaint is that they used as little polish as possible. My nails are almost transparent, and this was supposed to be sort of a darker pink. They did a really poor job in my opinion. Cons: -did not cut cuticles -barely used any polish -nail polish not applied evenly -almost zero top coat -nail has already cracked on day two read more

The service at the front desk was great. The vibe was good since it was very busy. The girl doing my pedicure was very nice after I paid and gave her a decent tip. Since I didn't have my reading glasses, I really couldn't tell how good of a pedicure she gave me but when I got home, I noticed that my toenails were too long after I told her to cut them short. I proceeded to file them down myself and noticed what a terrible job she had done. She had never even pushed the cuticles down. The polish was nicked in one place and certainly not flawless like I normally get.. I will send a picture of my large toe where I actually pushed the cuticle down myself which I should not have done because it even looks worse. I don't normally don't write reviews if negative but with the service I've been getting in the last few months, I've decided I'm going to start writing them. read more

Visiting Laguna Beach from LA, I was looking for a pampering manicure pedicure experience. I chose Laguna Nails and Spa and I was not disappointed! Quaint and charming shop and very reasonably priced. Also, ample free parking behind the salon is a huge plus, no need to fret about finding street/meter parking. I chose the Luxury Spa Manicure and Luxury Spa Pedicure - and they were both wonderful and so relaxing; highly recommend Donna and Kim who did my services. Once the services were done, I was not rushed along, rather I was invited to stay to make sure my nails were dry all while enjoying the massaging vibrations from the chair where my services were done. When back in Laguna, I will definitely go here again for the same services. Be sure to call in advance for availability. I was able to book my services same day, although it was a week day and not during peak summer. read more

I am so happy with this nail salon! It's the best nail salon in North Laguna hands down. When you walk in, they have relaxing music playing. They just remodeled the interior- it's very girly and polished inside. The women who work there are very skilled at Gel X and have plenty of colors/accessories for your nails. They are also good at painting delicate designs on your nails. Finally, they charge a very fair price considering the detail that goes into their work. Can't recommend enough!! read more

Claudia at Immaculate Brows knows brows! 2. Claudia is a real artist and doesn't rely on a stencil: This one is huge. I have been to brow people who put a stencil on your brows and try to make your brows "fit" into this one size fits all stencil then they proceed to tell me about how my brows don't really work but if I buy these products and fill them in to match the stencil then they will look good. Claudia is not like this at all. She sees how your individual brows grow(yes there are 2 brows and they are close sisters but not identical), chats with you about your brow goals and will work with your personal growth patterns to shape and groom them so they can look good both with or without makeup. 3. Online scheduling for appointments: Because don't we all just randomly remember to schedule our brow appointments while laying in bed at 6am or 10pm or is that just me!? :-) 4. Appointments are on time: I never have to wait past my appointment time and if I ever do, it's less than 5 minutes, which is basically nothing. With that being said... your appointment duration is your appointment duration. If you show up 15 minutes late to your 30 minute appointment then you have to understand you are gonna get whatever can be done in that remaining 15 minutes. It's not a punishment, it's just reality because Claudia is respectful of all of her clients time and her next clients shouldn't have to wait or have their appointments rushed because someone else was late. 5. Great quality wax and waxing technique: I guess my skin is sensitive because lots of waxes make my skin break out. I have not broken out once since seeing Claudia. 6. On four or five separate occasions, one of my nails fell off within two weeks, requiring me to take additional time out of my day to return for repairs. After the change in ownership, I began booking with Emily, whom I understand to be the new owner. At my last appointment, Emily gave me a medium-length Gel-X set with French tips. Within only three days, the white polish was noticeably chipping from the tip of every nail. When I returned, Emily showed no sympathy for the inconvenience and made me feel as though I was imposing by asking her to correct the problem. She repeatedly suggested that I must have been "using my nails too much." Gel polish should not chip that badly after only three days. I directly asked Emily whether she had used regular white polish instead of gel because that was exactly how it appeared. She said no and insisted that she had used gel polish. I do not believe she was honest with me, particularly because after she touched up the white polish on the tips, it did not chip again. I asked her to redo the nails and make them slightly shorter, but she said I would be charged for that and would not redo them complimentary. The only correction she provided was a slight touch-up to the ends of my nails. There was no discount or other gesture for the repeated inconvenience. I left feeling that my concern was blamed on me rather than honestly and professionally addressed. After being a loyal customer for years, this experience was disappointing enough that I will not be returning.
