Their service wasn't that great, they didn't change the channel on the TV for us because it was on an inappropriate channel, they rushed a bit, didn't even check it over when we were drying our nails for any chips or anything and worst of all, it was SO expensive for a REALLY bad mani and pedi. After they were done and our nails were drying, they just walked into the back and started eating. After about 30 minutes, my dad walked in to see if we were done and they just said we are good to go. They never checked on us while we were sitting there. When we were done, they didn't check our nails and I pointed out they missed an entire chunk of my thumb. She just rushed to cover the spot and didn't check anything else. My 8 year sister didn't really know and got into the car. An hour later, we noticed the big chip on her finger and now her feet. They really need quality control or they shouldn't be in the Marpole area. Pigeon park probably has better places than this. They shouldn't be in business. No one should ever go.

We called around to maybe 4 different places and charisma was the only location to accept 4 of us as walk-ins at the same time. The location is right on a busy street so it is a little hard to find parking. When we entered there was one woman getting a manicure and 5 pedicure chairs along the opposite wall. The ladies here took great care of us, me and my buddy got a standard pedicure and our partners added polish. Pricing seemed expensive but when doing the conversion, were from Seattle, it was on par with our prices. We all agreed, this random shop we stumbled upon was probably the best pedicure either of us have ever had, and collectively, we've had ALOT. They do such good work here. Make you feel very comfortable. The only thing that could make It better was if they served drinks (hint hint) lol. If you're looking for a solid pedicure at a fair price, come here!

While I was there, they made sure to space out clients and there was always at least 1 seating space between clients. The atmosphere was very calm and relaxing, and I much preferred this to the usual hustle and bustle of the busier salons. I noticed that they made a point of keeping the walkway/room very clean and clear- the minute they finished with a client, the tech would quietly move their chair to a back room for storing until the next client appointment. Not only that, even though it was a rolley chair, they purposely lifted the chairs and carts so it wouldn't make a noise clattering on the floor. Very very thoughtful of them! I had brought a bit of a complicated nail art inspiration for my first visit, and my tech Jenny really did a great job following it. They also didn't try and add on any hidden costs or hard sell any extra procedures on me. I didn't realize the colour I chose was translucent so I had to choose a new one. Now that I have a closer look at my nails, I'm disappointed with the colour and the thickness. They look like light pink muppet tèeth. The gift card wouldn't scan as the previous owner did not transfer that information during the changover a few months ago.
