This is the best Pho we have in the area. I love the oxtail Pho with a side of fatty brisket which they will bring out raw or cooked. I prefer raw because it is sliced so thin it cooks almost immediately when you swirl it around in your broth. Kinda like Shabu Shabu! They have great spring rolls too! I love their Thai tea boba drink they make fresh to order. Also, I know it's not Vietnamese but their orange chicken with fried rice is hands down the best. So many items on the menu to choose from ad a lot of vegetarian items. I am on a low carb diet and they will make me the Pho soup without the noodles and they add vegetables instead. The menu is extensive with many choices and they seem willing to modify an order to customer taste. My husband had been telling me how good Pho was, so I went here to try it for my first time.... AND IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!! We had shrimp spring rolls and the #16 Pho Ga (chicken). We were craving pho and came across this restaurant via Yelp and we didn't have to wonder off the route we were taking home! Perfect location for us. Since it was Sunday night, the place was pretty empt, 1-2 other tables. We ordered: - 2 spring rolls - 2 egg rolls - 2 bowls of pho, one with just steak the other with steak and meatballs - total came out to around $25.00 I didn't see if they offered small vs large bowls. The bowls given to us I would put under large. So much food! So good! Especially after a day playing in snow. Definitely would come back. read more

Great spot for the small towns nearby, not as good as Pho Ha located in San bern and Moreno Valley, but more of a home cook taste for me. The staff is great, but not really feeling the younger girl working there, she seems like the brat there, not professional & always on her phone. Besides that, we have no complaints about the portion of the noodles and meat. The bahn mi's are good. I love the pho here and will be coming back, I recommend this place. read more

I normally take off one or two stars for restaurants in Yucaipa as I'm not in that demographic BUT Ocean Pho deserves all 4 stars. I came here solely based on Yelp reviews and I've never been disappointed. It's a gem and I've become a regular weekly visitor. Clean and bright, doing a brisk to go business, Ocean Pho is the standout Asian restaurant around the 5th and Yucaipa corridor. The first thing you notice are the two murals; a homage to Finding Nemo and a field and forest scene. Both are cute and a pleasant change from blank walls or kitsch paintings. The menu is broad and well organized, reflecting the best of Vietnamese cooking from rice noodle soup and rice dishes to pan fried and banh mi. Of course there's a lot of Pho and smoothies too. This place is known for is beef Pho Dac Biet (#1) served with authentic tendons, tripe, meatballs and prime steak. The pork stock/soup base is excellent and it's not a surprise that they've built their reputation on this dish. The whole Pho line up is excellent, from fish balls to shredded chicken, shrimp and a superb oxtail. There's so much here to experience, all of the ingredients of the Dac Biet available in different combinations harping back to Ho Chi Minh street food and Da Nang beach vendors. 10 different egg/rice noodle soups ( try #23 Wonton & Pork or #24 Seafood) and 15 different pan fried noodle dishes cater for any preferences. I like the seafood combo #75 with a lighter sauce and soft noodle which comes with a side of soup or #72 crispy noodles with mixed meat and vegetable selection. The drier broken rice dishes spicy chicken #53, roasted Cornish hen with egg #52 and shredded pork with egg cake and bean curd #60 are all excellent meals to share across the tables. I particularly love their congee which is flavorful and far better than any others in the IE. Korean BBQ ribs, Chinese style chow mein (or Vietnamese style), and Orange Chicken for the unadventurous mean you can please everyone. read more

This place was only option for Pho in Yucaipa. We have filet mignon pho ($9.99) and Combo Chow Fun($10.99) Pho: It is ok, hence 2 stars Combo chow fun: Too greasy and the noodles were overlooked. Negatives: 1. Extra charge for sliced onions 2. One of the worker kept swatting flies against the windows while we were eating. I was also disappointed in their lack of compliance with face coverings for both the staff and customers as there were at least 2 people in the store without face coverings. In times like this, it made me very uncomfortable to be there and made me question whether it would be safe to eat the food. Me and my husband were looking for a new pho place in the area since we are not from here and this place was really good! The veggie egg rolls are BOMB!!! I ordered the veggie pho with egg noodles and beef brother. Delicious!! My only complaints were that it gets very packed and can be hard to make your way out of its full.
