I recently went to sell my condo and I asked for resale docs I was given two different prices. I also have not paid my condo dues in six months and was planning on paying everything at closing, which is three weeks from now but they threaten to put a lien on my condo and wouldn't accept to get paid at closing. The lien would have been filed Aug.1st and closing is Sept.13th. These people are really unreasonable and I would steer clear of using them to manage you home let alone your dog house. Also look at the reviews posted. One is by the owner which you can figure out which one is him and a couple of people they know including a window contractor that probably isn't licensed like the guy they had sent to look at my floors 3 years ago. Steer clear!!! Rude and unreasonable especially with everyone dealing with a pandemic, but when their family member died they needed time to cope and put condo owners on the back burner. What a joke! In my opinion I would never have them manage my trash can in front of my building. My 3 year old would do a better job. See pics attached.

After some issues arose in which I was helpless to handle from a distance, Mike went above and beyond to handle them, while making sure to look out for my best interests in the process. He and Lisa have shown that it doesn't require a huge company to handle things. What it requires is an honest team that cares about their clients. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have their property managed on the Eastern Shore. There fees are way more reasonable then other property managers and their polices and procedures are much better. I plan to utilize them as long as I still own my rental.

A family friend offered up their condo for the New Years Eve weekend and I had a great time. The condo's are well maintained and clean, with strict rules to keep the hooligans from "rushing" the properties. Thunder Island is located directly next to the convention center and is surrounded by water/piers on Bayside. It is encouraged to bring boats and jetskis to tie up to the piers during the summer months. Obviously, I didn't get down into my skivvies for the December/January months but it would be a hoot in the summertime, for sure! The only bummer would be if the convention center were hosting an event.. the traffic, I'm sure would be a hassle. Since the entrance to the condos is located on the same street that patrons take to get to the convention center. I will most definitely be back. See ya on the flipside Ocean City!

We stopped by the pool and looked in, it is drained as of 5/22/2020 and a sign that reads: not open until further notice. It also didn't look like they are in any rush to open. I'm not sure how long it takes to open a pool but if I can see that they have not cleaned the pool and it needs to be filled. I would guess they will not open until July 1st. Didn't ruin our vacation but the people renting should have made it clear that the pool was closed. If renting from someone at Heron Harbour island please know that the pool might not be open.

If you own a rental property, they will rent it to absolute savages who will destroy your property. Even if you come in as soon as the tenant leaves and see the damage with your own eyes, CB will refuse to hold back any security deposit. Oddly though lots of complaints here are from tenants who rented garbage units through CB and were docked security for clogging drains. Funny because I was told today that clogging brand new plumbing is "wear and tear." Maybe CB is just a giant scam on both ends. The owners get treated like garbage and so do the tenants. I've had either reckless tenants or terrible cleaning crews. But there is no recourse with the tenants when they damage your unit. And they will damage your unit. Vicki Burrs knows one answer to a problem--we don't care. That's her go to when lying doesn't work. But she'll lie too. If you're renting in OC, stay away from CB 118th street. If you own a rental unit stay away from CB Vacations 118th street. Go directly to Vacasa. Hopefully once the transition is over, Vacasa will fire the rude, incompetent staff and replace them with people who take pride in their work. They're a disgrace to the service industry. These agencies are holding on by a thread because AirB&B provides better service for renters and better property management for owners. Plus they cut out the lazy inept middle men. They would make you think that the home owners of the properties they manage are terrible people that have no interest in maintaining their own homes. In just over two weeks of staying in the same house this summer they didn't repair a broken toilet, bring the appropriate light bulbs for the bathroom, offer any compensation for a bedroom that flooded twice during our trip rendering it unusable for days, replace an empty gas tank for the grill, or repair dangerous bunk beds in the unusable swamp room. There maintenance staff is a full blown clown show that doesn't have an effectively communicating manager. How do I know this? I know this because every time some comes to the house they don't know why they have been dispatched to the house. The bottom line is try and find a house rented by the owner directly so if you have a problem you can contact someone who cares, not resort quest who has a ton of properties and don't care if you ever rent from them again.

If you move your reservation to a later date- high season- you have to pay the rates instead of them just working with you. Many times in the case of a declaration of emergencies, rentals will move you to a later date without charging you extra. This organisation only cares about the bottom dollar.

Try telling that to 4 children who see people at the pool and I have to tell them no. They only give you six pool passes so if you rent and you have more people than that, they can't go in. Stop hiring older women to work doors/gates. They are not kind, helpful or nice. The house is nice but the HOA ruins it. They are supposed to have a private beach where the nearby restaurants serve you food and drinks on the beach. Good luck getting a server. They all ignore you. I've watched many people try to flag a server down to be seen and ignored. Why advertise all of these benefits when they just don't work.
